In high school I would blaze with my buddy while listening to music almost daily, and this song was one of our favorites. Every time we heard the opening riff, we would start laughing then sing the lyrics while packing a bowl or rolling a bleeze. No song brings me back to that time in my life quite like this one.

I couldn't even begin to count how many times I listened to this track, to this entire album, hanging out with the best friends anyone could ever hope to have on those random lazy hot and humid summer nights in our backyard just laughing and hanging out. No drama. No money. Nowhere to go. Couldn't ask for anything more. It's too bad everything's so sad now. But yeah, those days were amazing. And Sublime was such a huge part of them. For the rest of my life, they'll be some of the best memories I'll ever get to have.

I know the feeling man I really do. Was stationed in Germany in the late 90s. In the summer we would have big cookouts under a gazebo behind our barracks. It would start with a couple guys having beers and wings and evolve in to around 50-60 people just hanging out and having a blast. Sublime would play almost the whole time. Every color of person from different areas of the country (and world actually) just getting along having fun. Best times of my life with friends I haven’t seen in 20+ years but I still talk to from time to time. Sublime will always remind me of those days and how great life can be if everyone just chilled and got along. Stay frosty

we played a show with sublime and met Jakob, class act and just super kind, spent the whole day talking with him, just having fun like normal people. We were the literal noon opener and they sold the place out and it didn't phase them, they were cool with everyone. What a great experience

I’ve been a fan since day one. I had a Sublime poster on my wall back in the 90’s. My son who is 25 now still remembers seeing it when he was a baby. We both like this amazing group.
It was summer before i went into7th grade (1996) our last time to drive to Florida as a family. My big brother was learning to drive & let me use his discman & cd collection for the first time ever, Sublime, was like nothing I’d ever felt from music… love them always and forever! ❤❤❤❤

Bradley K was a genius on the guitar and his one-of-a-kind vocals were truly incredible! This track will always be one of his best. The way he shredded the licks and solos all while playing the main melody. He will be forever missed and looked up to.

I'm glad you get that. ...This song was written about his own heroin addiction. It was very common for Brad to Pawn off his guitar or the bands equipment to score. And their manager would have to go buy it back for them to play shows
