People can complain about the color, but if you look it's a MG with great part separation. A simple spray of grey, panel lining and Katoki decals will make it look amazing if you dont like the clean look.
those peeps who complain are the people who cant custom paint their kits lol , i have no problems with the colors tho it looks blu ray anime accurate and i like it , it looks already fine but its kinda feels like it belongs to RE 1/100 line :) gonna wait for bandai to make a P-bandai ecoas jegan i like the shoulder and the head of the ecoas type jegs
kastreya I understand not being able to customize their kits, but it's also animation accurate. Plus, as it's a master grade kit, the parts separation is on point. I could easily see grabbing a cheap grey spray can and painting a few parts a different color and that completely changing the look.
they lived the same era of led zepplin and hermit purple , queen and stuffs. bell bottom pants, hippie like, rayban glasses. but i appreciate one thing in gundam series; they do not smoke. unlike people living in that era they could even smoke on a bus.
Came within a hair of ordering this kit today...couldn't quite bite the bullet. I quite like the color...but the lack of skirt armor just doesnt quite do it for me. It came down to this or the Jesta. I chose the latter.
Just found this out, not sure if you know, but most of the transparent plastic used in the kits reacts to a black light and lights up like a flare. try this on the banshee and the psycho frame glows and looks amazing. Green, blue, orange, and yellow react very well to it. Red however not so much.
Honestly the fewer panel lines on it means the fewer armour plates are used which makes the whole thing stronger, Modern Tanks have as few seams as possible on their armour because the more solid it is the stronger it is, having countless little panels as if it's made up of countless little plates means it's going to be smashed apart when hit leaving the frame exposed. Yes, Reactive armour is made up of countless little squares but that is placed on top of the regular armour.
I love the mint, and adore anime accurate playing (meaning lack of surface detail) and this is my favourite suit of all time I think. I’m so excited to pick one up
They should release a parts kit to turn this into a Stark Jagen or prototype stark jagen. Or just a new kit together. Jagens are one of my favorite grunt suits so I'd love to see more versions of em in MG
My only complaint was the thrusters on the back of the legs. The bells are for sure depicted a tad bigger throughout the entire movie. The clip you have of one launching from behind is the best example I have.
I remember when you introduced your rank system, and I remember loving the idea. However, is it just me or do you guys not remember all the ranks & their order from best to worst? It’s been so long. It’d be cool to see them all listed out at the end of the video, and then revealing where you think it belongs, so we can get a better scale on the ranking. I have nothing to compare the rank to when I don’t know where the grading of the kit lands anymore.
Brown for shitty Bronze for below average Silver for average (it's also the first "Good Gunpla" tier) Gold for the best Platinum for better than the best Gundarium for better than the best and also innovative
Honestly increasing the range of the hips wouldnt be too hard, cut out the front and back and pin it on the outer side and make them flaps, so they can move out of the way letting the connector swivel more.
I kinda feel sad... Our BOI MECHA is constantly putting up new videos (which is GREAT!!!) but V3... Well, he has a life so... I miss him... Give me more vids from now on Mecha... I am counting on you, BUDDY!!! You and Kakarot are my only life line now in terms of GUNPLA... Well, Jobby... Jobby... Is still MIA in term of actual GUNPLA reviews... Sigh... Great vid, man!!!👌👌👌
ElephantGodd I wouldn't say one is better than the others they both have their pros and cons, but this isn't a competition so most likely both of them don't care about who may or may not be better.
my first gundam I ever tried was aHigh Grade Vidar...and holy hell the flimsyness of it put me off of model kits as a whole for a long while. did not even wanna finish putting it together. I'm hoping these Master Grade ones are of sturdier stuff...
MECHA San i have to say thank you for the review on the jegan, however one thing you miss on it which is important, the inner frame of this so much longed for mg. i was hoping to find what sort of mechanism involving the movements of this kit ,sadly it was not made possible. anyway awsome job and keep at it.
That "shining gold" is very gurren lagann. I wish there were gurren lagann kits :( there are so many big robots in that show you could make a whole line of them
When is the jagen is coming out i want her so bad and yes i am called mobile suits a she and yes that is amazing jagen good job mecha because i will keep looking in usa gundam store and see if she be out yet
Bandai should have provided an optional piece for the thigh armor that would allow the thigh joint the full range of motion it can achieve. That way it would keep purists and utilitarians happy.
Hey Mecha did you see the image that somebody took of the prototype of the RG Sazabi? It's positioned next to the Jegan and looks to be it's size! A RG at grunt suit MG size!
Its a good anime accurate kit, my only let down was a short belly, the arms kinda look like a gorrila. And as a builder i kinda extend mod my jegan to had a extra mm of belly, and it kinda works.
It’s kinda ironic how sometimes the main mobile suits are terrible and the grunt suits are really good
Terrible Tube lol true. Sadly I’m a really big jegan fan but I don’t have enough money yet to buy this at my comic store.
Don’t get me wrong I love the jegan but as far as chars counterattack goes I do have to side with the nu Gundam.
Terrible Tube is it sad that my favorite Gundam is Zaku
@@pelibin8322 but zaku is nota gundam
you can't be telling me rn that the nu gundam and the sazabi are bad.
I love the 80s retro vibe from the minty green color.
I've always loved the Jegan's minty green. It's a big part of what instantly separates it from the zillion other GM variants.
Yeah
it seems the complaints from people is that this kit lacks surface details despite its purpose of staying faithful to the source material.
Same people who complain about there being too many astray and unicorn variants yet have like 5 of them
Robert is that you? You or somebody else
@@kapitan4902 not me.

MaxSonic so they don't want a kit that looks like the source material
The color reminds
Me of my grandma’s bathroom
I love how professional these reviews are getting.
Also the Jegan is best used by Team Nemesis's Aila and Lucas. Both destroy B to S tier class mobile suits with this unit.
Got the MG Sazabi ver Ka for Chirstmas, and now I want everything else from Char's counterattack, can't wait to pick this one up!
I gotta buy this in the future and paint it in my own color scheme.
*also p-bandai jegan variants incoming*
Zetagundamastley1219 hey its u again
like what?
Stark, Birnam Corps, ECOAS Type, Conroy use, A Type, you name it
Definitely holding out for ECOAS/Conroy use
might be good if you paint it in Patlabor colors, hahaha
MORE MECHA WITH GUITARS PLEASE
I think Kotobukia made a M.S.G. Guitar Axe kit but I don't think they've release it yet.
You mean Extreme Gundam?
HG Extreme GUNDAM have a guitar you're looking for.
*When Mecha lifts up the skirt
*E.F OPEN UP*
hehe... r/upskirt hehe...
p Remind me to never search that up ever again
@@miyamura3720 u actually did..?
LONG LIVE ZEON
says the word "perfection" too many times but then goes on to listing its imperfections. :)
This review after watching it 8 times inspired me to buy one. also you inspired me into buying grunt suits. Kudos!!! Keep'em coming 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is my favorite... This perfect, JEGAN
saludos desde México brother! 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Let’s hope they make a MG stark jegan and gm striker someday
Char's counter attack reminds me how my dad dressed in the 80's leisure suits and all.
they lived the same era of led zepplin and hermit purple , queen and stuffs. bell bottom pants, hippie like, rayban glasses. but i appreciate one thing in gundam series; they do not smoke. unlike people living in that era they could even smoke on a bus.
This is my favorite mobile suit ever, and a beautiful kit
I'm glad to see this grunt get the MG treatment, I'm glad you did the review I'm going to get one now
Came within a hair of ordering this kit today...couldn't quite bite the bullet.

Love it! Looks good from every angle. It's the jaguar E type of mobile suits
My only complaint was the thrusters on the back of the legs. The bells are for sure depicted a tad bigger throughout the entire movie. The clip you have of one launching from behind is the best example I have.
I got one recently, and I am going to take full advantage of the minty green expanse to recreate the Arizona Iced Tea label motif
YES. Indeed paused at 3:29 giggity to laugh loudly.
Jegan is my favorite Fed's grunt Mobile Suit
How conveinent, I JUST bought this yesterday!
GLORIOUS GUITAR MODE ON 0:39
I love it

Brown for shitty
Bronze for below average
Silver for average (it's also the first "Good Gunpla" tier)
Gold for the best
Platinum for better than the best
Gundarium for better than the best and also innovative
I love how Jegan and F91 2.0 are true to original but with newer articulation
I'm personally glad they were willing to sacrifice posability for anime accuracy
The Hobby Hizack a miss? I fell in love with that goofy thing on sight.
Love the mgs design the jegan in cca always looked kinda dumpy and fat but love it thinned out
Best gunpla reviewer right here
I like the Zaku at 1:50 and I wish Bandai would release an HG of it.
GunzNBlades That's not a Zaku but a Hobby Hizack
ひかるぬ thanks for clearing that up.
ひかるぬ its not the hi-zack its the geara doga
Gimme an MG Stark Jegan, then bandai can have my money...
You should review the mg Geara Doga
My mom's favorite gundam xD
This mobile suit always makes me think of red vs blue
"Giggity giggity" :)))
the color is the best thing about it
Love the quality of your video it so good. comparing around other review videos with in youtube

The Jegan line is my favourite
honestly i think there should be waayyy more kits with this color ....... i think it's Very Nice
This is Platinum Tier 👌
3:29 Giggity joint XD
Soundbust 11 who else but quagm-jegan!?
MAN, PLEASE KEEP THIS UP AS STANDARD REVIEW!
KEEP THE MOMENTUM.
#BESTREVIEW
I can’t wait until they make a master grade Stark Jegan.
MechaGaikotsu is Rrobbert184's second coming!
But Robert's Silky Voice tho. hahaha
Robert is dead thi
Carry Me Anego and Robert didn’t use his biases as actual criticism.
I like the mint color
I wish we'd get a MG Hobby Hi-Zack.
Now I'm going to wait for an ecoas and a piko version.

Jobby has never considered himself a gunpla reviewer believe it or not
I hope you're joking....
Jonas Aguila you should watch zakuaerelius then, imo he's better than mecha
ElephantGodd I wouldn't say one is better than the others they both have their pros and cons, but this isn't a competition so most likely both of them don't care about who may or may not be better.
No zakuaurelius?
The hobby Hizack is not a miss
I guess you’re in a new golden age
The hobby hizack is a preforming Mobile suit for the circus, it’s not gonna be in a militaristic color scheme.
Also the gm command adds no extra detail to the original line art, even the monoeye inside the head is there.
The hobby hizack was a sports machine apparently
this kit looks cool
were it not for the fact that how simple the leg construction really is
That SAZABI Looks TASTY!!!!
I am definitely buying this, and I'm definitely going to have a great time scribing the hell out of this!
my first gundam I ever tried was aHigh Grade Vidar...and holy hell the flimsyness of it put me off of model kits as a whole for a long while. did not even wanna finish putting it together. I'm hoping these Master Grade ones are of sturdier stuff...
If I ever buy this kit I would probably modify the thigh armor to get rid of the articulation issues. I want it to have a thigh swivel.
impressive work they did on this one I hope they will do the MSN-03 Jagd Doga one day
September we get the RE
probably the closest we'll ever get to a MG.
They wont do the MG because RE100 release is confirmed.
MG grunt suits are quite good.
Well, you could cut off parts of the inner thigh armor that limits the thigh swivel to give it more range of motion
As far as the other two suits go in this vid, which one is the tan mobile suit? Also the blue one is a GM Sniper ii?
My only complaint is without the front skirt, there's a weird gap between the torso and legs
This kit is awesome I wish Brandi would make a mg jegan stark
MECHA San i have to say thank you for the review on the jegan, however one thing you miss on it which is important, the inner frame of this so much longed for mg. i was hoping to find what sort of mechanism involving the movements of this kit ,sadly it was not made possible. anyway awsome job and keep at it.
Looks cool man good build and review man.
Shame we'll probably never see a MG RGM-89De Jegan (ECOAS). That's my favorite type. I guess we just have to be satisfied with the MG Jestas...
Grunt suits are the best!!
I don't know if this already exists or not but it would be nice if there was a list somewhere of gaikotsu's gold tiers and silver tiers.
seems like there's lots of chances for customization with all the empty surfaces, would look great when you do weathering on it
Jegan 1/100 Scale Master grade? Giggity.
Amazing kit.
How long did it take to build this thing? And how long to ship, to Australia?
That "shining gold" is very gurren lagann. I wish there were gurren lagann kits :( there are so many big robots in that show you could make a whole line of them
Kitty Cat Kotobukiya made Gurren Lagann kits but good luck finding those since they are long discontinued.
Its weird you never made a review of its counterpart, the GearaDoga, since you have one.
Wait I forgot. do you only give out those special ratings for master grades?
2:19 I immediately thought that when browsing through master grades to buy 💀
Is thie kits peg joint strong or is it one of those weak ass snapping joint like from the ibo 1/100 kits?
When is the jagen is coming out i want her so bad and yes i am called mobile suits a she and yes that is amazing jagen good job mecha because i will keep looking in usa gundam store and see if she be out yet
Bandai should have provided an optional piece for the thigh armor that would allow the thigh joint the full range of motion it can achieve. That way it would keep purists and utilitarians happy.
What’s your favorite grunt suit ?
Mine is the gm sniper 2
the sazabi is beautiful
Rip jegan to the end..
Ita kinda weird that regular soldier suits get treated better than the main suits
Nice videos all your videos are awesome
every video reminds me of Robbertt's with a twist.
nice job!
Imma wait for a stark jegan or a Conroy custom jegan
Hey Mecha did you see the image that somebody took of the prototype of the RG Sazabi? It's positioned next to the Jegan and looks to be it's size! A RG at grunt suit MG size!
Damn! Have to admit that I'm feeling a bit nervous about how well it will hold together. Hopefully Bandai knocks it out of the park!
6:33 yeet
Its a good anime accurate kit, my only let down was a short belly, the arms kinda look like a gorrila. And as a builder i kinda extend mod my jegan to had a extra mm of belly, and it kinda works.
Cool figure...what scale or size would you prefer on gundams?
You lived in Japan! How long for and were you able to find work?
Yeah, kinda sad the hip joint arent fully moveable like modern MG but the kit itself is great.
I would add some side skirts to my MG Jegan.
what do you thinks is better mg jesta or this one?
