I made peach jam a few months ago, but never in the microwave. We love peach jam on crepes. I have currant bushes in my garden and make currant jelly for ourselves and for gifts.

Hey Denise! I am looking into getting a freezer but I want an upright freezer. Just not sure if I have room in the garage for it?
Hi Michelle, that’s why we got this compact model. It fits into small spaces but still gives us a freezer option. Our space is limited too. We keep both cars in the garage during the winter. Check out this one or another on the site to see what’s what.
Do you still have the other freezer, the black one? That certainly would be a great blessing in these times. I have more than one freezer and a backup generator in case of emergency power outage.
Yes, I do have the black one and it is full to the top. Probaby overfilled which is why we needed another. This new one allowed me to organize a bit better. and yes...in these times...so needed.

Those peaches 🍑 look so good! I like the idea of making the peach jam in the microwave. I don't do canning but can I boil the jars? What size are the jars and where can I get them? I wonder if I can prepare pear preserve the same way?😊🍃🍁🍂
You can use a large pot…just set a folded dish towel on the bottom of the pot and set the jars on top of that. Fill the pot with water about two inches above the tops of the jars. Bring it to a rolling boil. Start processing time from the rolling boil. 10 minutes for most jams. Pears can work but spices are different. Look for a pear preserves online. Or get the small batch book.
