It doesn’t matter how many times I watch orphan the dad gets me heated 🤬 every damn time with his stupidity. And basically being a hypocrite at the end.
Slight explanation about Esther/Leena: Her dad SA'd her at a young age and told her she'd never find love. She took that to heart, became a prœstitute and got money. Then she conned her way into family's and robbed them blind. Then the prequel happened, and then this movie. Edit: "The family that brought her to america... died in a house fire." The painting. It's no orphanage or school. Its her old home.
Me too man because of his stupidity decision on his own, probably the father always piss me off every time I watch the scene it still annoyed whatever this happened it on him not on her! On him because he didn’t believe her single thing that she is telling him about her..
Its hard for me to watch one of these reactions where one person has already watched the thing they're reacting to. Because so much of the video is just the person adding a bunch of unnecessary, snarky, wink wink, nudge nudge, "I know something you don't" quips. And that just makes for a very disjointed first impression. If I'm watching something for the first time, I want to discover the plot on my own and not by someone giving me a bunch of low key hints and constantly eyeballing me to make sure I understand what's happening. Don't get it twisted, I'm not here to tell you what to do. At the end of the day it's your channel, you make your videos however you want. I'm just saying, as a viewer, it wasn't the greatest experience.
EXACTLY! finally someone says it. the whole time she was invalidating what Kate was feeling and blaming her for what Esther was doing. she should’ve been able to tell something wasn’t adding up with esther at least.
@@jzanaae - I really enjoyed this movie, with the exception of being very irritated when Esther didn’t knock off that therapist somehow! Instead, she killed the nice nun. 😡
Came across randomly to your channel as i am big fan of horrors and huge fan of reaction channels loved your reaction atleast u guys are not skipping so much just subscribed
Isabelle Fuhrman played a very mature + intense role at a very young age of 12. But the scary part is that it is based on true events. Barbora Škrlová, who posed as a 13-year-old boy, and also involved in a child abuse scandal in the Czech Republic, where she impersonated a young boy named - Adam. Even after the movie was released, similar stuff happened with in Indiana, who adopted a Ukrainian girl - Natalia Grace. The part 2 of Orphan coincidentally (apparently) showed similar events.
Well the Make Up was probably helpful given that was a 33 year old played by a 10 year old playing a 33 year old. Still crazy to think the inspiration once again LOOSLEY stems from realitiy or?
I would definitely have brought Esther to a child psychologist after the "I know, they f*ck," comment, if only because with all the other things going on, I would wonder if she was maybe molested before she came to us. She gave major Beth vibes, from Child of Rage. (Except Beth was actually a child. She was molested repeatedly as a baby, and it messed with her mind so bad she took out her rage on others, and had a very adultified mindset toward sex. Highly disturbing behavior for a 6 year old girl.)
Well, I don’t like when your roommate is watching and you just jump and mention every 5 min that there is something wrong with Esther😐 It would be better if you both watch it for the first time
I like Esther as a name tbh and am for sure not Scandinavian or UK based, they seem to be the only onces who can get away with (great-)grandmother sounding names to the now adult adult Generation(s)?!?!?! I mean granted I got my name from my great grandmother as well but I think I got away quite lucky with it therefore she was born in the 1800s.
A lot of this video you said something before it even happened as like a haha I know this, and you don’t. Like you said “she’s gonna put it out of his misery.” Before ester even said it. It really angered me.
The prequel was meh... Not much of a twist there either. And Esther looked too old, her face shape was too mature and the weird choice to use contact lenses for some reason was not a good decision. They should've made the movie way earlier, like max few years after this one was made.
The twist ending to this movie is insane!
Esther is one of the creepiest Kids in a horror 🎥 that's not a Kid 😂 😂
It doesn’t matter how many times I watch orphan the dad gets me heated 🤬 every damn time with his stupidity. And basically being a hypocrite at the end.
She was in a straight jacket and tried to get out and she got the scars.
I cant wait to see your reactions to Case 39. That film really blew my mind at the end but awesome enough

I thought it was the mental hospital.
Bruh.....you could have at least just tell them to watch the prequel Instead of spoiling something that was never explained in here
@@deathpearl360 That wasn't said in the prequel either I think that person just made that up.
@@killuanatsumethey got it from the original script - February 2007. It was even wilder than the movie, you can find it online.
The above explanation is not considered canon. It was a plot point included in the original script, but never fully adapted in either films.
BTW, Max was played by actual deaf actress Aryana Engineer.
The father always piss me off every time I watched this movie.
The father was so naive and stupid. Even I would know something was wrong
Me too man because of his stupidity decision on his own, probably the father always piss me off every time I watch the scene it still annoyed whatever this happened it on him not on her! On him because he didn’t believe her single thing that she is telling him about her..
Hope you watch the prequel film.
I so appreciate yelling. “Oh baby, no!!” Any time Max is in danger. I do the same thing ❤
fun fact in the original script you were right Ester/Leena was molested by her real father which gives us some empathy for her

Everyone talks about the dad, but I really hate that therapist. She’s supposed to be the expert.

Vera is so pretty I first saw her in the show Bates Motel such a great show 😊
Great reaction! Very raw and real emotions 😊
Yeah, I actually really liked the roommate! She’s cool!
No matter how many times I watch this movie I’ll always be mad at John for being stupid
ok i agree with what this woman is yelling about but the way she yelled and went full on karen mode is so cringe
You guess should check out The Collector (2009).
The intro is hilarious af

Isabelle Fuhrman was “10” years old when the film was in production. Not 12. She was 12 years old when the film released theatrically.
I love watching you yell at the screen you remind me of me watching movies y’all should watch orphan first kill it’s a Prequel

The Adoption Agency lied. He should have trusted his wife.
I like her, she's the correct amount of angry at the husband
I was adopted but didn’t needed therapy.
She is not lying 🤥
Max the hero of this movie
yikes it's just a movie after 34:17
