I watched this movie last night, going into it completely blind. It was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time.

This movie is what made me love and absolutely fascinated by horror movies when I was a child. One of my favorites ever!!

12:32 Both the original and this show that Friday the 13th's writers can't do a murder mystery and shouldn't have tried. In the original Pamela was never shown in any scenes to be established as a suspect before she's revealed as the killer. And here Roy's made obvious by his angry glare into the camera while covering up Joey's dead body and looking worried when the sheriff's deputy talks about there being a killer on the loose.

There's a deleted scene (from Part 4) where it's revealed that Tommy's mother is found not alive. But it's also a dream sequence. But yes, she was definitely not a survivor.

Hey guys, it's been a while since your last video. I'm just gonna take a break from horror movies for now because I'm getting everything ready for Christmas and also I'd got a new cat to take care of. Her name is Chelsea and she was a stray when we'd found her outside couple of months ago. We're taking good care of her and I hope you guys will have a nice Christmas. This one pissed me off as a kid, but it's really grown on me over the years. I mean, it's one of the more brutal ones for sure, and I think the body count is the highest. Also, little children don't get hurt in these movies, which I think through people off until they realized what was actually going on.

Good reason for the abundance of titties is the director the late Danny Steinman was a porn director, the sex scene between Tina and Eddie was intended to be a lot more sexually graphic but the MPAA said hell no or it would have gotten an MC-17, same with some of the kills including the killer, his original death saw his head lopped off and rolling down an embankment and Violets death was supposed to be like Andy's death from part 3 where he was split from groin to sternum but, once again it would have gotten an MC-17, maybe even an X with the original extended sex scene, too bad, I would love to have seen what this movie would have been without any restrictions but it's still a guilty pleasure for me, I love it.

I remember this film predominately for the actor who played Dudley from the show Diffrent Strokes.

Cory was only in for a short time because he was in the Goonies at the time so his scenes were done over a weekend

Glad you liked this one, most people hate it the first time and it has to grow on them, but it's always been one of my favourites. Just a note the young lady in the woods with the shears her name is Debbie Sue Voorhees (no relation), and she did a "fan" film called "13 Fanboy" with several franchise alumni.

I tried 2 watch as long as I could but damn how could you watch a movie with her she's too annoying

Best movie i have ever watched

Is it me or is Darkman’s story structured almost exactly like Robocop. An innocent and very likable man with good strong morals, our main character of the film finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and his body is brutally butchered in a disturbing scene early on in the film by a gang of cartoonishly evil thugs that for some reason laugh like theyre the weasels gang from Roger Rabbit or some shit. Despite this, the gang is led by a cold and calculating charismatic leader or also happens to be sadist that enjoys toying with and torturing his victims before killing them. After the main character’s body is essentially destroyed by the evil gang, sometime later thanks to the advancements and innovations of modern science, the main character is resurrected but he is severely scarred and forever changed by the tragic and unfortunate circumstances that had befallen him. Because of this, all throughout the film the main character struggles against himself and his trauma to regain his humanity once again. The main character’s significant other sadly thinks that her man is now dead and even has a funeral for him despite there not being an actual body being present inside the coffin to bury. The main character eventually remembers who the asshole gang members all were that ruined his life and goes on a revenge rampage where he gets even with most of them one way or another, but doesn’t take them all out just yet. As it later turns out, the leader of the criminal gang of cartoonish thugs is actually working for the head of an evil corporation that’s working on the development of a new, fancy, high tech city which is really being built for rich people. There’s even very similar scenes where the leader of the gang and the rich ceo asshole are both talking inside rich ceo guy’s office about their evil dastardly plans while in front of a large window with a view of the city’s skyline present in the background. (In Robocop the new Delta City project is shown in the board room office being depicted as a miniature architectural model, in Darkman the new city is already under construction and the new developments to the city can be seen outside the office window all throughout the skyline of the city. The ending sees the main character getting ambushed at an old run down industrial factory which the main character is currently hiding out at. During this scene, the main character finally has the chance to take out his revenge on criminal gang of cartoonish assholes, taking the gangs leader out last. This then leaves only 1 and an easily taken out body gaurd hench man to deal with(Ed-209 and Dick Jones in Robocop, the random mafia body guard and the asshole ceo guy in Darkman.) After some back and forth hero vs. villain dialogue, the main character finally has finally heard enough bullshit from the pompous rich ceo and decides to end things now causing the rich ceo guy to fall to his death from the really tall building. In the end the main character has been through and is still processing all of the trauma he’s been through. However, thanks to his experiences and after rising up to the challenge of taking out all of the evil bad guys that ruined his life, the main character has fully regained his identity. He has also learned to live with and live through everything that has happened to him. Deciding to move forward while finally accepting his new life while also fully honoring the man he was. As his old self and new self both merge into one. (In Robocop this is best scene when Robocop tells the Old Man that runs OCP his name is Murphy and smiles, showing that he no longer thinks like a programmed machine but as a man with a soul whose goal is to help people and fight evil as a police officer. In Darkman this is best shown as he realizes he must not only continue his research for himself, but he now realizes the type of evil present in the world and since fate has seemingly delivered these abilities to him he must continue fighting evil while also continuing his life’s work in the development of a permanent cure for those with burn victims. Essentially they both rediscover their identities and their humanity after they both experienced horribly violent trauma and after science rebuilt them, yet caused them to become numb and forget who they really were the whole time. Once they find themselves again they sort of both smile at the character in a bitter sweet way, sort of almost signaling to the audience “yeah I’ve come a long way, but ai have a lot more work to do on myself until I’m whole again. If I’ll ever be. Until then, let this moment right now show that there is hope and reason to believe in the future.” Darkman/Robocop End Credits lol! I mean, I barely had to stretch the story at all for it to fit that well. I mean sure, there are little differences, but damn for real?!? lol!

Shannen Doherty's *"Heather Duke"* : a former neighbour across the street, she was *"the girl next door" as I grew up.* and most notably as Lisanne Falks' *"Heather McNamara"* : *one of my aunts* by marriage from Québec, no less!

Apparently the hammer and shotgun shell thing DOES work...but you have to stick the front through a pipe or something to give the shot direction or it just goes everywhere.

Imma list some horror movies with twin protagonists/antagonists: Sisters (2006), Blood Rage (1987), Seconds Apart (2011), Goodnight Mommy (2014), Sisters (1972), Basket Case, Twins of Evil (1971), Dead Ringers (1988). Twins have actually been a huge part of horror. I believe it extended from the superstition that Twins were said to be omens or magical in some way which made them dangerous.

I loved the film, even though the twist of Abigail being a vampire was spoiled ahead of time. The point you guys made about Abigail's plan being genius is true. By making her victim's be the ones to kidnap her they basically hide their deaths by trying to hide the kidnapping itself. They destroy the evidence by covering their own tracks. I enjoyed your reactions and especially your post-film analysis. You guys really got into it. Glad you enjoyed the film.
