time code: 23:44 - "how did he figure out how to get back? he's just baby." answer: the evil spirit that was invading rachel's night & day dreams, was same evil spirit, newly, inhabiting gage's body. gage's spirit never returned to his body.
35 minutes into the video = that's the plot of 1992's sequel, _Pet Sematary Two_ with Edward Furlong. He has kittens but his best friend has a mother with an abusive Sheriff boyfriend and his dog is a German Shepherd I believe. He definitely has a dog. And a rabbits' cage.
Had a feeling when she said she didn't recognize it. Similar thing happened to me. Saw the sequel around Kindergarten. Didn't realize it was the sequel until I watched the first.
Loved both of your reactions to Pet Sematary. The scalpel scene with the achilles tendon always makes me wince. The 1979 TV movie, Salem's Lot was my introduction to Stephen King as a kid.
This was a very sad horror film as he just wanted to bring hi son back, but at a terrible cost. There's a remake from 2019 and a prequel to the 2019 remake that was released in October 2023, taking place in 1969.
hey love the channel and the reactions, I have some cool movie suggesting I think you guys would like if you haven't seen them! 1. darkness falls 2. dark shadows 3. the howling 4. mama 5. see no evil 1 & 2 (optional) 6. ginger snaps 1 & 2 (optional) 7. clown 8. house of wax 9. the hills have eyes 2010 version 10. wolf creek 1 & 2 (optional) 11. jeepers creepers 12. the visit I know these are a lot of movies but you can pick and choose whatever you want from this list but I can promise you they're all good, memorable and worth the watch! ❤❤
This is the only Stephen King film that Stephen King himself was scared of. And if you think that's impressive, just remember that the same year, Mary Lambert directed the "Like A Prayer" music video for Madonna. Also, Stephen King and his son Joe are "Doctor Who" fans if that gives you motivation to set up a Grave Who Reacts series.
Stephen King normally likes to play a cameo in the movies that he creates from his books like Rose Red this movie I think he was in tommyknockers as well but I'm not sure I would have to watch that again
You used to be able to meet people on the tarmac for really small planes. I did it several times. But that was the '80s. And this was made in the '80s so that makes sense.
Depending on the plane and airport you can still do it. I was on a charter flight back around 2009 that let us board and exit onto the tarmac like that at a smallish airport. We went through separate security from the main lines in the concourse.
The movie youre thinking of is the sequel, 1992's Pet Sematary 2. Had no commection to than original other than a mention of the Creed murders. But yes, theres an abusive step father and the dog was not a German Shepard but an Alaskan Malmute.
All Stephen King stories are supposed to be part of the same multiverse, tied together by the Dark Tower series. You'll see little nods to other books in his books
Yass, there was a sequel to Pet Semetary w/ Clancy Brown! *(I’ve been a fan of that man since I first saw the series Carnivàle-I highly recommend anyone who has not seen that early ‘00s, 2-season show.) TBH, the Gage’s death scene is so hilarious that he has to be the cutest baby to keep you from laughing-Reminds me of a scene from Austin Powers. It’s supposed to be a Maine accent, supposedly theirs is a bit much, but the Maine accent is kinda close to that. I’ve seen the film & read the book, and neither time did I ever think that Herman Munster called the cops to check the cemetery. “It doesn’t regenerate,” she says. Darlin’, might I remind y’all: Magic. I think my sister saw this as a kid, because she always had an irrational fear of someone cutting her ankles (from under the bed, the car, anything,) and so much so that she kind of transferred that fear on to me-Not so much someone doing but anything doing. Apparently, it’s harder to cut then it looks in films. Here’s the thing about Stephen King, the man is a great writer. That’s about it. Though people make fun of his performance in Creepshow, I like it. If you haven’t seen that short def check it out. People who haven’t read The Dark Tower seem to think the film is okay, but everyone who has read it hated it-I’ve read most of that series so I avoided it. BTW, physical media news (old news now,) the Mick Garris/Stephen King adaptation of The Shining is getting a rerelease, (I think Shout Factory.) It looked too scary when ai was a kid so I ended up never seeing it. Doctor Sleep & 1408 might be tied for my favorite Stephen King adaptations. Rose The Hat is by far my favorite Stephen King villain, if not character. Not only is Rebecca Ferguson incredible but the character is so cruel and terrifying. The scene with the “baseball boy” is one of the most brutal and terrifying scenes in Horror-Also, I loved the scene when they find him. Too often in films the horror of finding a body is a bit too sanitized in films. 🙏🏼☺️ Godspeed y’all.
Your roommate must have watched Pet Semetary two. Pet Semetary has always been a favorite King story of mine, its so dark and atmospheric. The book is the only book that actually creeped me out while reading it, I was 11 or 12 when I first read it. I haven't watched it in years, as you mentioned that once you reach certain stages in your life a movie can strike you in a different way. As I am a father of three kids, the youngest being three, I just don't want to watch it. I guess I can relate too much. Still, its a great film and a great book.
I kinda said this before. I know it’s a movie and all. Since I was first able to watch this movie. The mom had like no mom instincts. She didn’t do Much to help with getting her child. I don’t even have kids I know I would have ran to help get the child.. just my thoughts on the movie.
I think she was talking about Cujo. The movie had a married couple with a small child, plus the wife was having an affair with an old high school boyfriend that was possessive.
My gf got me an online doc of the making of this, even the truck driver that hit Gage. Get it if you can. 1 of the 2 movies that are better than the book.😊
I feel bad Fred acts the fuck out of this yet the lead is comparable to mixing a Xanax with a beer also: my sister Zelda. She died when the Moblin got her
Most of the scenes Louis is in, he’s out of it from grief. He sells those phone calls where he’s trying to not let on what he’s doing but early on, when the story allows his character to be, he emotes
Do Cat People (1982) pleaaase?! Great Bowie soundtrack .. Starring Nastassja Kinski and Malcolm Macdowel! It’s about Were leopards! I know you’ll love it!
I'm not going to watch this movie because something did happened at the end of the movie and that really did scared me when I was a kid. I'd only seen a little bit of it anyway.
You should watch the changeling 1980 and death ☠ becomes her 1992 and she devil 1989 and dolls 1987 and Hansel and Gretel 1987 and Martin 1977 😱🩸🕸☠ and the uncanny 1977 and the comeback 1978 and house of dark shadows 1970 and night of dark shadows 1971 and grave of the vampire 1972 and the house of 7 corpses 1974 and the house of long shadows 1983 and the torture garden 1967 and the funhouse 1981 and the eyes 👀 of a stranger 1981 and poltergeist 1982 and poltergeist 2 1986 and poltergeist 3 1988 and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland 1972 and Alice in Wonderland 1999 and I really want to see both your reactions to each movie 🍿 so please 🙏🏻 watch every single one one at a time I hope 🤞🏻 you both have a good 😊 day I love ❤ you ❤ both so much I really wish I could meet you in person 😊❤👍🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻
Denise Crosby (Granddaughter of Bing Crosby) played Lieutenant Tasha Yar.

Fred Gwynne was PERFECT for the role of Jud. Just the murmur of his voice makes you at ease
Exactly 💯
I was *_just_* about to make some popcorn... Now I know what video I'll be watching first.

Definitely not a German Shepard. It was either an Alaskan Malmute or a Huskie
Based off your roommate's comments it sounds like she watched the sequel Pet Sematary Two, only I think the dog is a husky.
Yes that is is
Yeah it was
Pet Sematary 2 was awful. Just mean spirited trash. It wasn't even good horror.
@@FezWhatley123 it wasn't that bad I liked it but the one made in 2019 I didn't like the new one is good though
I'd like to see these two tackle Eraserhead and Henry; Portrait of a serial Killer.
Loved both of your reactions to Pet Sematary. The scalpel scene with the achilles tendon always makes me wince. The 1979 TV movie, Salem's Lot was my introduction to Stephen King as a kid.

The kid who comes back to life in the emergency room and then haunts doc also was in the Are You Afraid of the Dark episode Zeebo the Clown.
Nice mighty ducks jersey

Nobody’s talking about Zelda. She was the real trauma for me as a kid watching this. I’m in my 40’s and she’s still one of my biggest fears.
Pretty sure you watched pet semetary 2 they have a husky and john connor in it
Stephen King normally likes to play a cameo in the movies that he creates from his books like Rose Red this movie I think he was in tommyknockers as well but I'm not sure I would have to watch that again
Sweet jersey and I absolutely love this movie

This movie is way more sad than scary

Wat h the sequel. It's worth a watch, and the movie you were thinking of.
I'm not going to watch this movie because something did happened at the end of the movie and that really did scared me when I was a kid. I'd only seen a little bit of it anyway.
