Suicide is my favorite character by far. The whole time he's asking why they even wanted him around other than having his car. He hates that the cemetary is full of garbage and when Trash rubs up on him he feels like it's disrespectful to do that in a cemetery. He's also the first one to go in to help Tina. What a guy Suicide was
@Chad Mcfarland haha same, I sae this movie when I was a kid, when it first came out and to this day my preference in women is short hair, punk style. Linnea Quigley is a goddess lol
The actress who played trash was in a lot of horror movies....and she is evidently not shy. And yes her being naked was an essential part of the movie.... without a doubt.
Fun fact: according to the director's commentary, a studio executive walked through during the filming of the trash dancing scene. She was mostly nude, pubic hair on full display and all, and the exec threw a fit. Agreed to let the scene go as long as she shaved down there. When she did, and they resumed filming the scene, he allegedly covered his eyes and yelled "Oh god, it's even worse! You can see EVERYTHING!" So, they ended up using a prosthesis for the final version of the scene.
I love how Dan O'bannon used real life NotZee Ernst Kaultenbruner(he helped refine the furnaces for more efficiency for the Afrika Corp if I remember right) for his basis for Ernie. The picture of Eva Braun on his desk, his singing of the wartime song for the invasion of France while embalming, and his Walther pistol(the movie has an alternate history where he faked his end). I never caught on til I was older and did the research(ah the innocence of youth) and realized DOB put that much forethought and backstory into the characters. It sure puts a different perspective on why Ernie was so interested in the zombies and their feelings considering his dark past. One of the funniest and scariest movies for me growing up, the unstoppable nature of the zombies and their fast movements makes the terror in this one!

It wasn't a regulation... It was a business decision to make sure they were getting an R-rating. Women showing their genitalia on film is nothing new. Porky's had more muff shots than any film before it. You saw girls in the shower... Kim Cattrall (lassie) and her sex scene was not simulated. If anything nudity in film, especially female genitalia has been toned way down since the 1980s, also lets not forget prior to 1989, the highest rating you could get was an X, and the X rating was more associated with adult films... in 1989 the MPAA got rid of the X, and created NC-17, problem was many media outlets gave the NC-17 rating the same treatment as X or UNRATED. Even to this day if your film is slapped with an NC-17 good luck getting any printed media organizations to run an ad for you, or get a trailer on TV. Tom Fox, who really had no previous production experience was trying to make decisions with zero experience... the studio said to him and Dan O'Bannon, covering her up would probably be a good idea because of the over the top violence in the film and they didn't want to risk an X-Rating... ROTLD was the first real zombie horror film to get away with a lot of stuff for an R-Rating... George Romero never wanted to compromise so he shot it as he wanted... rating be damned, but if they were to submit his Dawn and Day of the Dead for rating today... they would most likely both get an R-Rating. Dawn did get an R-Rating in 1982 for the drive-in run when it was coupled with Creepshow, but they did cut quite a bit of the gore... but if you look at Land of the Dead and what was depicted in The Walking Dead Those films were mild and should be submitted for rating again, but I think true fans would be upset if the films were rated, it kind of has been a badge of honor. Also, some of the money put up for the film came from actor Jason Robards, although not credited as a producer he held a stake in both Orion Pictures and Hemdale film corp, and there is a photograph of him on set with the cast and it was supposedly shot the day they did the Trash dance scene. Another reason they wanted to cover her up is she seems to have large defined Lips that would stand out, not like Camel Toe, she was a skinny gal with moose knuckle lips... so to tone that down was a good idea. Not everything is because of a regulation, there is no regulation for a film to be rated or to be considered a film based on content. Even the industry recognized adult films were still films, but studio pictures are self-policed. Back in the 30s-60s there was a conduct code, once the MPAA was created it was still a voluntary process... submit your film, get a rating, don't submit it get the UNRATED or NOT RATED banner... but it limited your ability to market in local newspapers and on TV. The movie business is fickle. I paid a good chunk of change to submit my low budget zombie film to the MPAA in 2008, and I felt it was tame compared to what was released in theaters, but I still got an NC-17, it was either take it, or pay another fee and re-submit the movie for re-rating after I made edits... Since the fee was quite expensive I opted to just try one time... I released the movie UNRATED, but still have my NC-17 certificate and the distributor could put the official MPAA logo on any media materials if they wanted to but it has been marketed as UNRATED for almost 20 years. Return of the Living Dead Part II was nearly given a PG-13 rating if they toned down the zombie being shot in half... otherwise they MPAA said it was PG-13 but the director felt the movie had a much more comedic tone and the scene played for comedic effect so he didn't think it needed trimming, so they just kept the R-rating.
42:28 you are correct! The character of Ernie is portrayed as having some sort of connection to WWII Nazi Germany. Aside from the luger and the crematorium, if you notice, there is a picture of Eva Braun on his bulletin board behind him next to the steel front door. Also when we first see him in the film when he is embalming, he is listening to old German war music on his headphones. Incidentally, the door on the crematorium itself is eerily shaped similar to those of the Nazi concentration camps’ crematoriums. Also, the crematorium room is lit up (shadow lighting) to resemble bars on the walls, which resembles the prisons that were the concentration camps
A spot on theory, but I'm afraid that as a gun nerd, I have to issue a single correction: Ernie is carrying a P38, made by Walther. Originally, they wanted to have him carry a full sized Mauser C-96, but it proved too bulky and difficult to draw for action scenes. So instead, they opted for the sleeker P38 instead. I believe there was a novelization where he carried a Luger, and all three of these pistols very much fit the Nazi motif. All that nit picking said, thank you for highlighting all of the hints regarding his past! I never noticed the Eva Braun picture, nor was I able to pick up that he was listening to war era German music. Makes me wonder if that pipe we first see him with could be period-accurate as well? Plenty of effort into details that may not be caught by most, but it's things like that that separate good movies from awesome ones.
Also, the name Kaltenbrunner is a hint. Ernst Kaltenbrunner was the highest ranking SS man to be caught and tried. He was apparently a very intimidating man, the kind of person who could make your blood ice over by looking at you
Absolutely fantastic reaction!!! I saw this when I was 13 and this is STILL, my favorite horror movie. Thank you sooo much for doing this... I F'N loved it!!!
If there was a zombie apocalypse these would probably be the last zombies I would want to deal with. They run, they can think, and they do not die from conventional zombie killing means. Even burning them can lead to more zombies. Love this movie btw, remember watching it when I was like 8 years old.
@@brilicusgaming6922 On the plus side, being bitten doesn't seem to cause infection, so the amount of zombies seems to be at a set level...as long as they aren't incinerated.
I first saw this at age 14 in theaters and hadn't had a zombie movie freak me out in quite some time... but damn if I didn't have nightmares for at least 2 weeks, but the only other movie to do that to me was the Original Dawn of the Dead. and I saw that at age 7... probably not the most appropriate film to watch at that age, but I did see it. However that is how I rate my favorite zombie movies... did I have dreams about it... Dawn and Return... yep, Day of the Dead, sure... Night of the living Dead I did not see until the early 1980's but it was creepy ... the rets of my top 10 is based on execution of the story.
The cadaver bursting out of the freezer and their squirming reactions were pure gold to me as a kid. I remember recoiling in horror as a kid. It was hilarious.
Tar-man & Zom Trash (Look at the close ups on her face) used to scare the hell out of me as a kid You guys need to see House(1986) if you haven't & Rawhead Rex
Awesome movie, i watched it when i was 10, and made me shit myself, i was not able to sleep for a week, i remember seeing tarman face in the dark halls of my house for a month. this one made me become a fan of Zombies.
Italian zombie films made by Brava like "Zombie (2)" and "Zombie 3" are very gory in a realistic rotting, decaying way. As far as nudity goes, actually she did have a prosthesis covering her front lady bits. And as a person who grew up in the 70's and 80's (I was in my 20's), no, we didn't watch these films to get off. It was just more socially accepted, and we didn't have near the amount of censorship and "right think" like we have today. It was a different time, different culture. Just like the 70's were.
What I love about watching reactions to this movie, every reactor says on cue at the beginning burn it, then when they do, they're exasperated and say why did those idiots burn it! I think that's a sign of a good movie when you the viewer feel like you're there with the protagonists trying figure things out and sharing the same thought process and reaction. Too many things I like about this movie to mention. Trash getting full on naked (even though she's wearing small prosthetic) it's wild.
Return of the living Dead was a perfect example for comedy horror and I absolutely loved it and the soundtrack is killer and the tar man always creeped me out zombie🧟
The nude girl was Linnea Quigley famous scream Queen of the B horror movies of the 80's and 90's. One of her other notable movies is, "Night of the Demons." The year that movie came out I dressed like her for Halloween in the pink dress and even did a bend over in 7-Eleven on a dare from my friends.
The chemical in this is called 'Trioxin'. That's what reanimated the zombies here. And Trioxin zombies are no joke, as you saw. Also, found it hilarious how, when Trash started stripping, you hear "Trash is getting naked again." like she does this all the time. Which is probably why they were told they'd be shot if they went back to that one park. Also, the guy who played Suicide in this was also briefly in Friday the 13th: The New Blood with Miguel Nunez, the 'token' black guy all these movies had back then.
One of the first people to do a First Time Watch of this that I've seen. Great Reaction Video! BTW Linnea Quigley who played Trash had a little special effects covering on her crotch area. They had to because it would have given the movie an X rating to have her full frontal dancing of the tombstone. The 80's had censored everything back then, especially in Horror movies.
Did a quick scroll to see if anyone had “umm actuallied” about Trash’s bits, (an issue my friend and I were also preoccupied with figuring out as kids): The story about how they came down to the eventual decision of how they covered her bits is worth looking into. It’s kinda bonkers.
As soon as she was saying to burn them I knew that was a bad idea. And as for Linnea Quigley, her getting naked was 90% of the reason they got her in movies, need to see Night of the Demons soon.
One of my all time favorite movies! Seen this one at the theater when it first came out. It's in my top 10 horror movies of all time! And yes the nudity was a must back then! If you guys haven't already check out the movie "Demons" also in my top 10!
This was my first time watching this channel, and one of my favorite movies! I'm subscribing, and looking forward to watching many more of your videos. Happy 3rd anniversary!
Thanks for making this. Great to have new fans of the best zombie movie ever. Worth a subscribe. Also, major plus for showing the unedited version with the original music.
It’s amazing and awesome to see so many loving this movie. This was always my favorite and I love all the zombie flicks and own 10 of them myself. This was just so unique and fun
Frank and Freddy were dead almost immediately. That's why Tarman didn't chow down on their delicious brains, and why Fresh Cadaver ran past them and grabbed Burt.
P.S. Yes, it was necessary for Trash to be naked. It was who she was. The 80s had its' share of johnson, too, but not in the greatest zombie movie of all time.
One of my favorite Childhood/Teenage Movies. Fanks For The Reaction on This Stuff! Sand Me Back in Time for One Moment! P.S.:Sceene with dancing Trash on the Cemetery still holds Me Up!
Greatest zombie movie ever. Shooting them in the head doesn't work and burning them doesn't work perfect ending to the movie also. The whole world is doomed. 🤘♥️
When they were spit-balling ideas for zombies, They drew up some EC Comics-style characters. One of the designs named "Legs" was a zombie dancer wearing only legwarmers. They managed to work her into the movie, and Linnea Quigley happened to jump-start the puberty of a certain young lad when this first came out on video.
One of my favorite films of all time. I also LOVE Return 3, tho Return 2 is at least kind of amusing, (I’d leave it on if it were already on, but of all the films this one and the 3rd are the only ones I would actually put on.) 👍🏼
What I heard about that Trash naked scene was that the producers were against it unless she was shaven down there. When she started dancing you could see everything, and I mean as her gynecologist could see everything. So the same producer said that they need her bush back to cover he vjayjay hole, but because it will take time to grow they made her a pubic hair wig so production will not be disturbed.
Dan O'Banion and John Russo were geneses for reinventing the book to play up the punk angle was amazing and the best movie for 1985 when I first seen this it scared the living crap outta me as a 12 year old I never knew ten 11 years later it would be one of my favorite movies as an adult rip gorge Romero for starting the zombie genre
I've seen this movie countless times and I love it well I love all of the living dead movies, dawn of the dead, Night of the living dead those were all part of that movie
Another 80's scifi/horror film with a character that runs around in the nude is Lifeforce. This is a vampire like character that comes from outer space to suck the life out of humans.
Living in Kentucky, my mom always loved this movie because she likes seeing Louisville get nuked. Never mind the fact that we live close enough to be caught up the aftermath.
I think, don't quote me, in one of the dvd commentaries Linnea mentioned that she was wearing something like bike shorts during filming. I haven't listened to it in a while but that was not her real hoo ha area.
Only seen a few of your guy’s vids, I do so love seeing my favorite movie through the eyes of a first time viewer so I thank you for that. Definitely I rely worth a like and subscribe for sure. As this is my all time favorite zombie flick I would like to add just one piece of trivia (I would hate to go full geek on it), the back of Freddy’s jacket, in that lovely sporty highscool font eloquently says “Fuck You,” there was an alternate jacket used for the “tv version” of the movie that literally said the tv version instead. Also the Don Kalfa (Ernie) plays in a different zombie flick that should be on your radar, Chopper Chicks in Zombietown. Not as good but funny.
Yo creo que Burt, Spider y los demás se salvaron porque estaban en el sótano (I think Burt, Spider and the others were saved because they were in the basement.)
In answer to your question: Medical cadavers are dyed yellow and drained of blood to make it easier for students during dissection. The production designer, William Stout, also hated the skeleton for the reasons you noted i.e. the fresh eyes. The original effects artist did a half-assed job. Here is what it was supposed to look like (bottom images): 28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lvivz5B3HJ1qzsz6ro1_500.jpg
First. Your girlfriend is the typical female thats jump, squirms and grabbed hold of you. 2. I love this movie that I seen 10 times when it came out. Here is a movie you two may want to view(that if YOU two haven't seen it) ZOMBIEWORLD. It has many dying of laughter.
Ernie is based on Ernst Kaltenbrunner. A committed anti-Semite and fanatical Hitler loyalist, Kaltenbrunner oversaw a period in which the genocide of Jews intensified. He was the highest-ranking member of the SS to face trial. The crematorium in the film is based on the look of the ones from the death camps. Ernie listens to the German Afrika Corps march song "Panzer rollen in Afrika vor" on his Walkman while he embalms bodies, carries a German Walther P38, has a picture of Eva Braun in his morgue.
I love Lil Mrs Exposition Zombie knew exactly why they crave BRAAAaaaAAaainsss... sure they feel pain, but how would the first zombies know brain food relieves that?
i watched this when i was 8 and loved it. also was my fav t shirt I wore it so much it didnt make it to 87. Tina I know your up there cause I can smell your BRAINS
Now imagine if someone made a Direct sequel to this movie. Airforce One is lowering and the president and news crew can see the biggest sea of people below thinking they are there to greet him. Then when it lands and the hatch opens, the President, his secret service and the news crew step out and those outside the state watching on the news hear the most blood chilling cry along with the President and company and the sea of people run at them. "BBBRAAAIIINNNSSSS!!!!"
If you haven't already seen it, you should watch the documentary "More Brains!" They talk about Trash's nude scene and how they tried a prosthetic cover for her..."lady bits". They dive into all kinds of details and it's really interesting!
A few months ago during my medical exam the nurse checking my vitals told me you don't have a pulse I told her that's not good I seen enough zombie movies that a know you need to run
Not a film but another source of intelligent zombies would be the TV show iZombie that ran for 5 seasons from 2015 to 2019. A great show for the first 2 seasons, the last 3 weren't as good but I still saw every episode.
that was a nuke at the end not napalm. the rain wasn't a concern becasue after teh nuke all teh dead folks were basically turned to ash by said nuke. . as for ernie he was some where in the age of 56-70 years old , they never never specified his age but he was a good bit older than Burt (at least 5-10 years older). this was 1984 so WWII was only 40-45 years prior. Germany fell in 1944 , so subtract 40 from say 56 and that gives you 16, a common age of soliders in WWII considering many would lie aboutt ehri age to join the military (same as in the US). Ernie was likely older than 56 though. so yeah ernie was definitely old enough to have been around in WWII he was likely either a boy or a young man between the ages of 10-18 . if he was ten it's likely he was in the hitler youth group and that is how he aquired a luger. but far more liekly he was between teh age of 16-18 and was an actual solider in the german army. Note this does not atomatically mean "Nazi". not all german soliders were members of the nazi party itself. another fun fact many many people miss. none of the "just" bit people actually came back to life (or undeath) . only the ones that got a good dousing in the chemical (such as trash who died while in the rain) came back. neither suicide nor scuz were reanimated just from a bite. making this movie also the first movies where the (zombie) bites don't necesarily reanimate you. though i've had some people argue against that using the sequels , but those are flimsy arguments since they are sequels and NOT the original done by Dan O' Bannon. and there was no lawsuit . just an agreement by romero and russo.
Burt, Frank and Freddy probably should have used acid, instead of getting Ernie to cremate the jaundiced body. It's also strongly implied that Ernie was a Nazi general that fled Germany and settled in Kentucky under a fake name. Not even implied, he was literally named as such as somebody that fled and had someone else killed in his place. That's why he uses the incinerator so well, he also speaks some German during the rain storm, is listening to Nazi Germany era music when he's working with the body, and he pulls a Walther. P38 out on Burt when he startles him.
Trash was already dead when the zombies surrounded her. The tainted rain caused her to turn quicker since she was naked. Hence, no errors since they would NOT have bit her or ate her brains as she was already basically one of them.
a fun movie and truly horrifying zombies. it spawned 4 sequels: the 2nd one they figured out how to kill them; 3rd movie the military was trying to 'use' them; beginning with the 4th one they made the zombies easy to kill sadly; now the 5th one was back to fun and titled 'rave to the grave' and a tar man returned to the film if you enjoy fun zombie movies watch: 'cockneys vs zombies' [england]; 'kill zombie!' [netherlands]; and 'dance of the dead' [u.s.] actually looked like it had teens in the movie it was pretty good
Suicide is my favorite character by far. The whole time he's asking why they even wanted him around other than having his car. He hates that the cemetary is full of garbage and when Trash rubs up on him he feels like it's disrespectful to do that in a cemetery. He's also the first one to go in to help Tina. to me the thought of becoming one of these zombies was more horrifying than having to deal with the zombies.
I love the zombie's giggle before he gets out 😂😂😂
The cadaver going straight for the boss is a hint that the two guys are already dead.
17:24 foreshadowing of him burning himself later
Tar-man & Zom Trash (Look at the close ups on her face) used to scare the hell out of me as a kid
You guys need to see House(1986) if you haven't & Rawhead Rex
I love this movie so much. It was on constant repeat when I was a little kid. Trash was one of the first nude women I ever saw in a movie. XD
He didn't have a Luger. He had a Walther P38.
I don't think Nunez was even black.
@@Bluesit32 he's Dominican Republican
I'll always remember Nunez as the "ooh baby" guy. Also the enchilada guy. Can't forget those damn enchiladas.
Apparently she completely shaved and when the production staff saw that they said no and mede her prosthetic vulva.
No, there were boobs in every horror or comedy.
Did a quick scroll to see if anyone had “umm actuallied” about Trash’s bits, (an issue my friend and I were also preoccupied with figuring out as kids): The story about how they came down to the eventual decision of how they covered her bits is worth looking into. It’s kinda bonkers.
Boobs are rated r, full bush is rated x.
Yes the 80s were truly a magical time for bewbs
As soon as she was saying to burn them I knew that was a bad idea.
And as for Linnea Quigley, her getting naked was 90% of the reason they got her in movies, need to see Night of the Demons soon.
She was an icon....
Loved that one as a boy. Especially the lipstick scene😅
17:54 "How else are you supposed to beat it"
Me: You can't.
Congratulations on hitting 1k subs!
You guys are great
Keep up the amazing content.
And Tar man had a higher skeletor voice when it debut they deepened it a decade later
Shotout to the soundtrack btw. The cramps, 45 grave, the damned, tsol, just super good shit
That was indeed a triple amputee. Knows how to move on his stumps somewhat.
Great reaction! I remember seeing this in theater with a bunch of friends when it came out on opening day.
So glad you watched this awesome zombie movie ! Love the soundtrack, characters and the tar man - lol xx
The paramedics, were named Tom and Jerry, BTW
One of my all time favorite movies (and one of 3 posters I have on my wall). Can't believe I never thought to look up reactions to this until now
Not really. They can be rendered harmless by military grade weaponry. Can't do much if they're mashed into paste under a tank or something.
I also LOVE Return 3, tho Return 2 is at least kind of amusing, (I’d leave it on if it were already on, but of all the films this one and the 3rd are the only ones I would actually put on.) 👍🏼
Return 1 2 and 3 are the only films I consider canon in the Return universe, I refuse to acknowledge 4 & 5 even exist they are so bad.
“YEAH”. Exactly my reaction when I saw this for the first time at like 12 and every time since.
Just found your channel, love the content guys! Subbed
What I heard about that Trash naked scene was that the producers were against it unless she was shaven down there.
When she started dancing you could see everything, and I mean as her gynecologist could see everything.
So the same producer said that they need her bush back to cover he vjayjay hole, but because it will take time to grow they made her a pubic hair wig so production will not be disturbed.
she didnt have bite marks or get devoured because her body is already transformed like freddy and the old guy, from the rain remember?
the eyechart in the office spells "Burt is a slave driver"
Linnea Quigley is epic as grave dancer and other scary movies
Dan O'Banion and John Russo were geneses for reinventing the book to play up the punk angle was amazing and the best movie for 1985 when I first seen this it scared the living crap outta me as a 12 year old I never knew ten 11 years later it would be one of my favorite movies as an adult rip gorge Romero for starting the zombie genre
I've seen this movie countless times and I love it well I love all of the living dead movies, dawn of the dead, Night of the living dead those were all part of that movie
It was the 80s. WWII was only 40 years before. So even if he was in his 60s he would have been in his 20s in WWII
We new Trash was gonna die from zombies because she fantasized about it.
This guy reacting looks like Hubbs from The Stoned Age ! Young version. It's a metal heads movie classic !
You should react to 1978 Fairy Tales which also has Linnea Quigley in it.
Great movie better reactions great way to start the morning with my coffee thank you very much
I have a tarman action figure and own the sound track LP
On the runoff groove to the original soundtrack release is the quote "I hit the fucking brain!"
I think, don't quote me, in one of the dvd commentaries Linnea mentioned that she was wearing something like bike shorts during filming. I haven't listened to it in a while but that was not her real hoo ha area.
My world is shattered! 😂 Still a great visual.
@@GraveCinema she is a doll though. One of my absolute favorite scream queens.
Awesome Count Orlock’s shirt! I grew up in Salem
Yo creo que Burt, Spider y los demás se salvaron porque estaban en el sótano (I think Burt, Spider and the others were saved because they were in the basement.)
You guys need more coverage! It's not everyday that we get a duo that enjoys horror movies together on the algorithm.
In answer to your question:
Medical cadavers are dyed yellow and drained of blood to make it easier for students during dissection.
The production designer, William Stout, also hated the skeleton for the reasons you noted i.e. the fresh eyes. The original effects artist did a half-assed job.
Here is what it was supposed to look like (bottom images): 28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lvivz5B3HJ1qzsz6ro1_500.jpg
actually yes she had a latex piece covering her lady bits it was in the documentry
I love this movie trilogy. I can't tell which one is my favorite between this and the 3rd film.
"I hit the fuc** brain!"
"Then do something else for godda** it the hell sakes!!" 🤣🤣🤣I love this movie.
First. Your girlfriend is the typical female thats jump, squirms and grabbed hold of you. 2. I love this movie that I seen 10 times when it came out. Here is a movie you two may want to view(that if YOU two haven't seen it) ZOMBIEWORLD. It has many dying of laughter.
Its actually genius to use the role to mop up spills depending on amount of liquid lol 😊
You two are the first reactioneers I've seen who noticed the two leading characters are named Burt and Ernie!😊
BEST ZOMBIE MOVIE EVER!!!
@11:31 😍those BUNS!!!
I rank this movie right up there with the likes of "Army Of Darkness" due to the sheer number of quotable, memorable lines.
Actually the mortician would of been the right age at 65. During 1980s he was probably a concentration camp cremator.
You forgot Bub from Day of the dead 85. He was a smart zombie who was taught.
Love this movie and you guys reactions to them
If you haven't already seen it, you should watch the documentary "More Brains!" They talk about Trash's nude scene and how they tried a prosthetic cover for her..."lady bits". They dive into all kinds of details and it's really interesting!
A few months ago during my medical exam the nurse checking my vitals told me you don't have a pulse I told her that's not good I seen enough zombie movies that a know you need to run
😆
Very cool movie thank you gorge Romero the 80s was great
Why is tarman voice high pitched when he said brains on my copy it’s deeper and much scarier
Damn classic 👊🏻
Not a film but another source of intelligent zombies would be the TV show iZombie that ran for 5 seasons from 2015 to 2019. A great show for the first 2 seasons, the last 3 weren't as good but I still saw every episode.
Love that show and the lead Rose is the lead in another Supernatural show "Ghosts " on CBS great show too
@@Chuck_EL love both shows curently waiting for season 3 of ghosts.
that was a nuke at the end not napalm. the rain wasn't a concern becasue after teh nuke all teh dead folks were basically turned to ash by said nuke. .
as for ernie he was some where in the age of 56-70 years old , they never never specified his age but he was a good bit older than Burt (at least 5-10 years older). this was 1984 so WWII was only 40-45 years prior.
By some weird fluke I've seen the second half of this movie several times but have never seen it from the beginning.
Also, Tina was the name of FREDDY Krueger's 1st kill in A Nightmare on Elm Street
Trash was already dead when the zombies surrounded her. The tainted rain caused her to turn quicker since she was naked. Hence, no errors since they would NOT have bit her or ate her brains as she was already basically one of them.
I did see that movie called "Uncle Sam" years ago and that's old news for me.
a fun movie and truly horrifying zombies. it spawned 4 sequels: the 2nd one they figured out how to kill them; 3rd movie the military was trying to 'use' them; beginning with the 4th one they made the zombies easy to kill sadly; now the 5th one was back to fun and titled 'rave to the grave' and a tar man returned to the film
if you enjoy fun zombie movies watch: 'cockneys vs zombies' [england]; 'kill zombie!' [netherlands]; and 'dance of the dead' [u.s.] actually looked like it had teens in the movie it was pretty good
I wish Dan O Bannon did the sequels
