Thank you so much my 20th wedding anniversary is in March 2022 I was going to purchase one but I do crafts I have a Cricut so ill be making my own. You were very detailed in explaining everything it also with measurements
What side of the acrylic did you apply vinyl? I have frosted sheets one side is frosted and the other is smooth. Not sure which side to put the vinyl on. Does it matter? Never used these sheets before. Thanks
Two questions if your able to help. Can you spray a sealant over the viyln to prevent scratches and to keep it long lasting? And I saw someone on another video say you can reuse transfer tape?
Hi Melissa! The vinyl is permanent so sealing is not needed and may mess up the finish. You can reuse transfer tape! I sometimes use the same piece for smaller decals
Hi Carly, can you suggest any website which sell the oracal 651 and ship to the UK? Im having trouble finding it here. I ordered one from a website but I dont think i'm ever going to have it delivered :/ thank you!
Hi! I'd check your local specialty vinyl and craft store companies if you have any. There is one near me that is a scrapbook store, but they sell Oracal 651 by the inch, in all colors! Fingers crossed 🤞
I always have trouble with the vinyl sticking to the transfer tape. I usually use cricut materials, but I notice u had no issues at all. Do you think its your transfer tape, or do I just suck at this...lol
I know this was posted a long time ago but I'm hoping you see my question. Isn't oracal 651 permanent? Wouldn't it be easier to remove 631? I put 651 on a whiteboard for another project and I cannot get it off. I'm worried that would happen with this. Thanks so much! Awesome tutorial!
Hi Amy! Thank you so much! It is permanent but I never have an issue removing it like in this video: ruclips.net/video/s9gUK02EALc/видео.html but I like using the stronger type since these rentals get beat up sometime!
The smaller the vinyl cuts the harder to weed so will size the acrylic to the amount of details needed...especially smaller signs with lots of details like bar signs. Hope that makes sense!
Hey Carly! Thank you so much for the awesome video! My wife and I were following along, but we ran in to some problems! Do you ever worry about the segments that you are splitting up still not fitting? I think after staring at it for an hour we realized that when we tried to split (@3:55), the two segment dimensions still weren't able to fit in the single sheet 11.5in x 23.5in fit.
This is a godsend. Literally look so easy - will be following your tutorial, thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
I have had my cricut for almost 2 years and too intimidated to use it. Your video is the best I have seen for actually walking you through every step!
LOL ,,, I was the same ... BUT ... After watching countless videos .... I have done a lot of work...
Me too! Still don’t use it

You are very welcome!! Something like this will be perfect for an anniversary. Congrats to you!!
Excellent tutorial ❤
OMG - thank you for this!!! I am going to attempt to make one for my bride!!!!
You are so welcome!

The shiny side is technically the front but I like the look of both sides!
Wow thank you r so creative I guess I need to invest in a cricket machine 🌸🌸🌸🌸
Yes, you do! Thank you 🌸🌸

Your videos are so informative and helpful! I wanted to ask what thickness acrylic you use for these big signs and for place holder types?
how did you "frost" the back of the acrylic?
Can I make this on the explore air2? X
What is the vinyl placed on when it goes through the cricket. The white background? Is that parchment paper?

Where is this measurement sheet from? @7:39
Best video I’ve seen so far! Thank you! I will be making my own for my wedding this summer!!
Hello,
when you rent out the signs and stands, do you ask for a deposit and a contract?
Yes, 50% deposit with contract!
Can you make acrylic signs with removable vinyl or does it have to be permanent?
You can definitely use removable vinyl! There are lower grade Oracal vinyls as well if you want something with less tackiness
I always have trouble with the vinyl sticking to the transfer tape. I usually use cricut materials, but I notice u had no issues at all. Do you think its your transfer tape, or do I just suck at this...lol
Probably because you are using Cricut materials! Most of mine are off brand (linked in description). Will make your life so much easier!
I'm loving ur channel.
Aw thank you so much!!!

I’m sorry I can’t find it which Transfer tape you used?
How thick are your aryclic sheets?
Can you peel the letters off if you want to re-use the acrylic boards for future projects?
Yes! This is exactly what I do for my local rental business
Omg this is AWESOME!
Thank you so much!!
Can you cut this large with a regular cricut?
I have the Cricut Maker now and did the same with my previous model, the Air 2! So as long as its not the smaller ones :)
How do you get the writing on computer to the circuit maker is that plugged in to it or just connected via WiFi? Also what program did you use x
Mine is plugged into my desktop! I believe you cannot via Bluetooth if needed
Can I use photoshop instead of the circut app ? design from photoshop and print it using cricut maker ?
Yes you can!!
I tried to do this on a smaller scale and my letters got stuck. Would you say it’s easier to do w/ larger letters? Is there any work around for this?
The smaller the vinyl cuts the harder to weed so will size the acrylic to the amount of details needed...especially smaller signs with lots of details like bar signs. Hope that makes sense!

Hi Steve! I just size the names or individual cuts down to fit on the sheet and piece them together on the sign. Hope that helps!
may i know the material use like the gold paper and is it transfer paper?
All supplies are linked in the video description 🙂
Maybe this is a stupid question but where is the acrylic piece from?
Not at all! Its from my local plastics store. Google "plastic fabrication company near me" and hopefully some will pop up!
Do you put the vinyl on the smooth side or the frosted side of the acrylic?
The vinyl is on the shiny/non-frosted side. You can do either though!
What setting are you using on your machine. This is not working for me.
Did you say something about taking the vinyl off after the event? Do you reuse the acrylic? If so, do you just scrape the vinyl off?
Hi Kim! Yes, I reuse pieces as rentals! I just peel it off
What did you use to make it frosted?? I love this!
You can buy pre frosted acrylic from companies online depending on where you live 😊
My local plastics store has all types of color and sizing options, including frosted!
where did you buy your supplies and the printer
All are linked in the video description :)
I plan on doing this for our sign would I be able To still achieve the same style using a 12x12 mat?
Yes, you can! You may just need to size it down a bit and possibly more cuts than 2 :)
Carly Keller Thank you much,Carly 😊
Can I do this with a cricut joy?
I guess a smaller sign would be possible with a Joy
What setting do you use for the oracal vinyl?
I like the premium outdoor vinyl setting!
Do u think i can do this on circut joy
A smaller version but not bigger signs like this
Hi! Did the acrylic you used come frosted or was that something you added?
Hi! It comes frosted from my plastics store :)
what transfer tape is this
Linked in description!
what kind of blue mat is that?
Can you say the name of the app you used for letters editing?
is the Cricut knife very different from an exacto knife?
Same concept, just a much better grip and you dont have to touch the blades to replace them :)
loved this tutorial! thank you for being straight to the point. #newsubscriber
Thank you so much Jenna!!
how come that after u printed it out it's cut already according to it's letter
Hi Aimie! I use my Cricut machine to cut the vinyl for the decal
What size are your signs?
The welcome signs are usually a 18x24" or 24x32"
Can I use this using the circuit air 2?
Yes! Same method :)
What is the thickness of the acrylic that you used?
This is 1/8"
Do you happen to sell your svg’s?? I am AWFUL with design space
What size of acrylic did you use?
This was 18x24" 🙂
Hii What's the name of the plastic store? Thank you
Hi! I use Plasticare in Denver but there are 3 or 4 other options around town

Can you share some of your favorite fonts that you use for wedding signage? I am wanting to do this for my son's wedding.. Thank you!!
Yes! Here's a video I made of some of my favs. I'm working on a round 2 as well! ruclips.net/video/vulhLCQtTdI/видео.html
What non scripted font do you use for welcome signs? The “welcome to the wedding of
Hi! Its the first one linked in the video description :)
I don’t get how you did the frosting 🤷🏾♀️
The acrylic comes like that when I order frosted vs. clear
Is it waterproof?🥺
Yes, it is! This vinyl is the same that is used for car decals 😀
How big was your acrylic sheet?
Hi Kyrene! This is a 18x24 inch :)
Carly Keller thanks for your reply Carly!
