Opaque means the paint is NOT see-through, and transparent is what your first coat was. I have found that pulling the squeegee rather than pushing it results in less chance of snagging and shifting the letters and has less chance of getting trapped air bubbles.
Can I paint the cast acrylic then cut it with a laser machine? Afraid its not good or the paint will come off in time. Love this I dont have a vinyl cutter only laser machine and sublimation appliances
Thank you for this the hinged method using the tape in center was a great idea. I have been making Welcome Wedding signs and never used a foam brush either. I used a chip paint brush to get the same effects. I can't find the link for a clear acrylic boards
Glad you found that helpful! We love to hear about how you are creating your products. Here is the clear acrylic: www.jpplus.com/translucent-cast-acrylic
I tried using acrylic paint. But it comes off so easily. Like even if my nail touched when it was dry, it scartched/came off easily. How can I secure the paint ?
This video was very helpful. You explained everything. Thank you ma’am.
Beautiful and beautiful font. 💛
Thank you. Clear explanation. Do you have a video where you but the vinyl on the back of the acrylic and left the front clear?
This is really cool!!

Hi. Where do I get the vinyl transfer and printer
Just a tip instead of cutting the backing sheet remove it and use 2 pieces of parchment paper instead. Love the tool as well!
What's the benefit of using parchment paper instead?
How long did you let the first coat dry?
What fonts did you use ❤
What is the tool you used to start the vinyl to release
What brand or type of paint do you use?
That’s my question too.
What if you make a mistake and need to remove the paint and start over? What can you use to remove the dried paint?
Can I use Enamel paints instead of of acrylic paint cuz of sign is huge and there are many and acrylic paint are expensive and very small
What’s the name of the vinyl you are using?
I would clean the surface before applying the vinyl after you placed your hands on it tearing off the plastic. JS
