I love this. Your instructions are really easy to follow. I'm looking forward to making some gifts for Friends and Family. I also curse using Cricut Vinyl. It is an absolute nightmare at times!!. When I find vinyl is playing up when removing from Cricut's Transfer Tape I've found if you're using a brand new piece, remove some of the stickiness by putting on your jumper a couple of times. When burnishing, a squeeze scraper or old credit card are better than Cricut's Scrappers [even the xl one!] and a little more pressure when burnishing, is ideal. [Don't forget to burnish the back as well! ] Then reverse peel by peeling the backing from the vinyl and your project. If you find the vinyl still sticking to backing sheet, replace and burnish again, but 9 times out of 10 this works better for me and haven't wasted as much vinyl as I used to. Hugs from Scotland, UK
Try flipping the deisgn over and bending the backing away from the tranfer rather than the transfer from the backing. Just a tip not sure if you have tried before.
Love this! Also love that your instructions are easy to understand, even for beginners. I will definitely make these for my grandson who is due in October :)
Thank you for the video. I found your channel, channel surfing milestone acrylic rounds. I hate circuits vinyl and transfer tape so much I want to scream! I have tons of their vinyl that I bought when I bought the maker and most of it is just sitting here. Cricut is in the machine business, not supplies that you need to use them. I prefer Siser over all of them including 651. I think I may switch to DTV once I use all my current vinyl. I currently use vinyl on the back of my milestone rounds. I loved the green and rose gold also. I may have to use that combo. I hate Cricuts metallic but i have all colors and I am going to use them all!
You are most welcome! I’m so glad you found it helpful. I LOVE StarCraft’s metallic vinyl so much, it cuts and weeds like butter. Cricut’s metallic vinyl is garbage, just my opinion! I need to try a different transfer tape, too. I don’t like Cricut’s and I don’t really care for the Studio brand that I was using either now that I’ve been using it more. Maybe I’ll see if StarCraft has a transfer tape! I’ll let you know what I found out.
When you seal the paint side and let it dry do you find that it still sticks to the job painted side when you stack them? I also had an issue with having painted sides after I painted each one carefully so I had to scrap them off and it still left paint.
Yes, I sealed anywhere that I painted. I just put them on the solo cups and sprayed them lightly. Since these theoretically don't get handled much, I don't think you need too much. :)
Put more pressure on your blade. paper Studio brand from hobby Lobby knocks Cricut out the park. really anything does. I'd never buy Cricut NOTHING. it really sucks. Also, when removing your vinyl from backing FLIP OVER so your clear & vinyl is on table and remove backing from from front and it really lifts 100% better. I never lift my front vinyl as you're doing because this will happen. you will fight with it. give it a try flip over front to bottom & remove backing. 😁😵💫
New subscriber here 🤗 This is so adorable! Thank you for sharing this helpful video.

Super helpful!! Thank you
Stunning. thank you for this tutorial
Thank you for watching!! :)
Love the stand idea
Thanks for the video. What product did you use to seal the paint?
Just a clear acrylic sealer I found at Hobby Lobby. :)
What do you use to separate the rounds when you package them? I was looking at the bubble wrap bags but they look really bulky for my box.
I cut square of tissue paper to separate each one. :)
When you seal the paint side and let it dry do you find that it still sticks to the job painted side when you stack them?
I also had an issue with having painted sides after I painted each one carefully so I had to scrap them off and it still left paint.
I separate mine with tissue paper to prevent that from happening. Letting it dry for a full 12-hours (minimum) helps as well. ♥️
Can you tell us the font that you used for “I’m here!” On the green disc?
Hi there! That font is called "Frick and Frack Sans". You can find it here: fontbundles.net/beckmccormick/1106991-frick-and-frack-sans-font?ref=2UkqZX
What Paper do you use to wrap the discs?
I just place a piece of tissue paper in between each one. Works perfectly!
Is the link for the baby milestone file available yet?
What box is it in in the video still?
I made the box out of Kraft cardstock, using the template that is linked in the video description ❤️
where did you find the heart vine to go around the rounds?
Hi there! I made the design. :)
@@browncowcreatives4091 did you make it on cricut or canva
@@shauneriver3973 I use adobe illustrator to create my designs, but you could use Canva or even Inkscape to create designs!
What you use to sealed the painted side?
Hi Anamaris! I seal it with Polycrilic, and I get it at Home Depot. ♥️
Did you seal the painted side?

Not loving oracle 651 vinyl. Basically the white. So difficult to weed.

Hate Cricut transfer tape. It doesn’t let go of the vinyl at all!!!! Ugh.
Ugh I know -- I am still on the prowl for some good transfer tape!
