I really love watching your videos, they are so inspirational! This project is in my near future! Thank you so much for sharing your talent, it's greatly appreciated.
I just started a set without seeing this video (I should have waited). I was looking for tutorials and they were ok. But this is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm definitely trying these. ❤ Thank you for the water tip. Tried it and it helped a lot.
I don’t because I am using permanent vinyl and the discs themselves are being used a small amount of times mainly for photos, however you can definitely seal the vinyl for added protection.
Thank you for these.Have been thinking of making something like this but wasn't sure where to start. Can I ask what you were using to hold the painted disc with no fingers?
I've made some of these with just names on them, but the names came off. Do you put some kind of sealer on them so yhe words don't come off. Love this tutorial
Love all your stuff, you make it look so easy and effortless. I’ve tried so many vinyls and have so many issues weeding or transfer tape that’s so sticky n after one use is all curled up and useless. What is that thing you stick to the discs to hold it to paint?
WOW just what I've been looking for. Well explained and easy to use. thank you. What's the little thing on the back that you hold the disc with. I'm forever getting n a total mess.
Hello! Do you know where I can get different kinds of acrylic shapes? I’ve seen on Etsy flower shapes, heart shapes, butterflies acrylic designs but I have no idea where to find them online
They are probably cut out with a laser cutter (which I do myself). Amazon has a few popular shapes but I haven’t seen butterflies or different animal shapes.
The water method is very popular, it’s also how sign writers put vinyl on all shop windows. The vinyl stays exactly where it should be because you are removing the water once burnishing.
Hello! Thanks for the video! I just started looking into buying a cricut printer. I noticed that you don’t use any sealing/setting spray over the designs transferred. Doesn’t it comes off if it gets scratched ? Do you apply something over to prevent it coming off ?
Permanent Vinyl usually stays on very well but sometimes I spray Triple Thick or Polyacrylic or Mod Podge over mine also if I’m concerned that it’s something that is going to get a lot of wear and tear.
As these props are for light use (mainly for monthly photos) you do not need to seal the vinyl if you use permanent. However you can definitely use the spray mod pose or britetone to seal it.
Hi what settings did you use in cricut design space? I did some and cut right through that some of the letters cut right off! I also tried less pressure
I use the premium vinyl setting with less pressure. Sometimes a new blade cuts through, with this I usually go into the settings and slide the pressure down to about 30.
What is the tool that you are using when holding the acrylic disc while you paint?
Woahhhh😍😍😍😍 Am I the only one that is mind blown on how you did your blue/white painted sky effect?!?!?? Yesssss!!!!! 🙌🏻
I was like woahhhh, too! This video is so inspiring especially for the individuals who love to craft!

Great tutorial
Thank you! I just ordered some to make.
These are awesome!
These are very beautiful. I wanted to know with the house paint, what finish is best flat or semi-gloss?
Flat is best and will go glossy once you seal
Love your videos. Love this idea. Just bought your templates. I'd like to know if you spray the vinyl side with sealer as well.
I don’t because I am using permanent vinyl and the discs themselves are being used a small amount of times mainly for photos, however you can definitely seal the vinyl for added protection.
They look beautiful. Just wondering if you could use spray paint and then seal with Mod Podge or some otherr type of sealer?
For the Rainbow how can I keep the paint from getting on the edges?
Love these, Would you mind telling me the font on the blue and gold leaf one please?
Thank you for these.Have been thinking of making something like this but wasn't sure where to start. Can I ask what you were using to hold the painted disc with no fingers?
I just uploaded a quick video about it: ruclips.net/video/zIcVSbPDFTo/видео.html
Such a great ideas. What's the size of the acrylic? Tks for sharing.
I've made some of these with just names on them, but the names came off. Do you put some kind of sealer on them so yhe words don't come off. Love this tutorial
If you use permanent vinyl, you shouldn’t have to seal. You can use the mod Podge spray or Britetone,
What are you using to hold the disc while painting?
Hi love this what are you using to hold the disc while painting
It is a nail art stand, I usually use a mini suction stand but couldn’t find it for this video.
@@DIYCraftTutorials does Amazon sell them
Very nice! Do you have links to commercial free fonts that we can download? Finding them, esp. commercial free ones are so difficult. TY!

So beautiful 😍 I'll be making these really soon. I think I'll use folkart chalkpaint. Also what is the dimensions of the box after being assembled??

wow nice is the sticker remove?if accidentally scratch?or do you cought it with resin?
You can spray a sealer over the vinyl not necessary though as the discs are photo props and not used alot
All of the are so beautiful I have a question do you put the word on the painted side
Hello :) I always put the words on the non-painted side.
Thank you so much
What’s that clip that’s holding the acrylic round?
Nicccccccccccce. Thx for sharing
Hi there, really enjoy your tutorials! Please advise on design space it doesn’t ask when I said make it to insert the scoring pen 😁😁
I've never seen anyone spray with water before applying vinyl... I'm curious as to how they hold up. 🤔
The water method is very popular, it’s also how sign writers put vinyl on all shop windows. The vinyl stays exactly where it should be because you are removing the water once burnishing.
😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hi! Love your videos! I was wondering if you could link your tissue paper that you used in the box?
So sorry, It is actually handmade paper I made myself
How do you make it?? That was my question too!! Feel free to give us more ideas!
Is that white paint that you used to make the sky colors?
Yes, white and blue
Hii just wondering where you got the gold flakes from and what brand,
I got them from Amazon, check out the video description, I have linked all the materials I used there

Do you primarily use glossy vinyl as opposed to matte?
Yes I do, mainly because I seal with resin/mod Podge/Britetone and all give a glossy top coat.
How long do you let your acrylics sit outdoors to dry after they’ve been sprayed with the mod podge?
20-30 minutes
Hi I purchased this yesterday and really finding it hard to find to load it to pdf gutted
Hi Tracey, please contact us via the website you purchased from with your order number
I don’t know how to use a cricut at all I need a tutorial from the beginning for dummies does anyone offer classes?

Do the bundles come with the fonts?
The bundles come with the words and numbers in svg format (not font files).
😍😍👏🏻👏🏻
Hi what are you using to hold the disc as you paint it
Great video! Thank you for showing us so many examples. The blue/gold one is my favourite 😍. What do you use to hold the acrylic disc?
It is a nail art stand, I usually use a mini suction stand but couldn’t find it for this video.
@@DIYCraftTutorials thanks I looked them up but all I see is magnectic ones. Can u share the link for the one you used.
