They should do this with Chromie. 10-70 and this new way to level with every expansion you choose. New players can see old expansions, level up, and power up for up-to-date content. I hope this is the new leveling way.
Man I was hoping the Draenei heritage armor would be like the Gruul's Lair Justicar Armor or the armor we see in the Burning Crusade cinematic

Stopped playing 10.0 due to my computer being too old- got a new one, would this be a good time to come back? Feels like it!
Yes. You can play the whole expansion, plunderstorm, mop remix and maybe even classic if that’s your thing.

Taking alts on a run through them all reminds me of the gold you used to be able to make off of the Cataclysm raids back in WoD.

They posted about Taivian saying he would be back to proper size by 10.2.7 hopefully. They shrunk him temporarily because of animation bugs
One question about the event though : reputation gains. Did they increase those? I saw a couple of achievements needed for the golden Elegon mount so I'm curious
On the PTR, me and a friend gave this a shot. When we earned rep, the 100% rep gain badges we got back in original MOP were still giving us the bonus reputation (550 per quest.) So it should be pretty fast!
Events like this should be done more often, much more often, and not just in the "downtime" between patches.
Anyone else notice that the MoP event coincides with the new deal with China?

10.2.7 MoP remix is kinda fun for leveling a new character. Ive been enjoying on PTR. Its retail related since you will be able to transfer over your character at the end of the event.

@@tearren1 I don't care about that. It's not at all a solo challenge and I already have characters of every class at max level. I want something akin to Horrific Visions, Torghast and the Mage Tower.

@@atomikvenum A better and more interesting version of it. Yes I do want that. Most people saw the potential it had during beta but they fucked up.
I love and hate the stable menu because I sort my beasts into Teams, so rather than swapping one for another I swap the whole team, so I have at least one of each type on any team at a time.
but if this is a way of being able to add more slots without needing to make new pages every time I'm all for it. I might even really commit to getting some of those tiger and bear spirit beasts.
No challenge mode gear? What's the point then?

Don't know if it has been answered but will heritage armour / allied race armour be earnable leveling through this? Would love to unlock such things through this MoP event
They'll almost certainly be earned through a quest line, like the other heritage armours. Nothing on the PTR on what the quests are, though.
Honestly if they Will be doing this every two moths with different expansion, I Will be there hooked again on years 😁

If it is still only on evoker per realm I would like the option to reset my current without deleting it.
Someone in my guild tested on the ptr if you could have a "nornal" evoker and a "remix" evoker and was able to do that!

Eh was extremely hopeful for the return of challenge modes.. it was the best part of mop & I only got the warlock set.
Thats a bit of a slap in the face to those who actually did the hard challenge. Anything they do on this would be a cakewalk.

@@SillyOne90 If the limiting factor is time than it's not challenging at all, it's simply impossible. There's nothing to brag about here
Is there a date for 10.2.7?
while things like server connection, internet connection, computer quality and other software running in the background can play a big role in lag spikes. if you have a bunch of addons installed even if your not using them regularly they can effect latency to some degree resulting in lag spikes as well.
Does anyone know if those characters will remain to be playable in DF after the WoW Remix: Pandaria event ends? Will they just be deleted afterwards?

I think they should replace chromie time leveling with this would happily make a new alt for each expansion to farm all these rewards on all expansions.

S4 and 10.2.7 launch are not even remotely connected. S4 is this month, which is just a few days after 10.2.6

@@syatek Okay, fair enough, I forgot Plunderstorm is a "patch", that does not change my initial statement. S4 and 10.2.7 are NOT connected, even remotely. S4 Launches on the 24th, .7 does not even have a release date yet.
Must feel real bad for the people who were looking forward for cata. Its kinda crazy to go through a whole expansion in half a year. Like idk if its even possible to gear an entire raid before the next tier comes out. This does mean legion classic is getting closer tho so I am happy. Wish they would speedrun through the rest which they might just do with WoD but Im sure they will entertain MoP for longer just based on the sheer amount of content.
Not a fan of retail, but I really enjoyed MoP, os I'll probs check out the remix event.

I'm kind of worried about the dungeon finder filter by language. Will it make things harder for those who play on non-american servers, like Brazil and Oceanic servers? I'm speaking from the heart, since I'm from Azralon. It's already kind of hard to find pugs because of the fame my server has, imagine with this filter.

I think the plan for classic going forward is gonna be season of discovery. They will just continue to remix those. Given how popular it is I'm guessing we'll see BC/WotLK Seasons of Discovery

Personally hope they dont keep releasing classic xpacs. I feel it should stop at Cata. And they should use this new experimental thing with remix pandaria to just eventually update and revive the old xpacs content for the retail client, and slowly but surely do the same with all xpacs eventually. So they all get brought back to life and arent completely irrelevant or sporting things youll never be able to get through normal means like raid sets from Pandaria/mounts. I know you can take a max level and farm that stuff solo, but it'd be nice if going forward they wanted to make it a permanent thing to be able to level/raid and experience all these old xpacs in ways that also are adding things to the retail client and they can stop splitting their player base up even more with all these different versions.
At most they should just release 1-2 mega legacy servers of all the xpacs they did for classic up to cata and then soley focus on just letting the classic xpacs do their thing with actual servers with a decent population and retail can keep updating/reviving its old stuff/making new stuff. That'd be the most logical to me, but it's obviously up to Blizzard.

MOP remix is fun. But I'm not sure it makes leveling any more fun than it is already. Amount of gem drops are ridiculous way too much. Level 30 and I've yet to see a new weapon drop or trinkets or rings. I don't know. Might not be for me. But to each there own.

I can tell you why there will not be a leggo cloak: The grind. Sure, it was fun, but it was also highly time gated and grindy. With MoP classic coming after Cata, they figure they would not want to have us do the leggo cloak grind for a second and then a third time. Well, for me, it would be my fourth and fith....Private realms and all.
Thats also what i was wondering, people forget too easily. Even this whole event, i can understand the nostalgia or the scream for underutilization for older content but actually having to re-level is a bit yikes imho. Thats the fallacy with adding rewards too (especially that many), without them, everyone could experience the event in a way they wanted, but now they have to have a ''fair'' experience for everyone hence they couldnt make levelling optional etc.
Yes, because OMG, they can't just put in the legendary Questline WITHOUT the grind, like, when you have the grind quest happen - Get 40x Raid Boss mats, just have Get 1x Raid Boss mat OR 5k Bronze...

The benefit of the classics, we don't have to wait out the actual content droughts that happened during those eras. It's fast, but Cataclysm was a pretty thin expansion in terms of endgame, because half the work went into the world revamp.
@@JohnBrowning-cc8hm Cata isn't classic? It's from what.. 2010? 14 years ago? That's classic enough as far as I'm concerned, and overall the expansion is good. It's challenging, its severely underrated and if they invest in fixing some of the main issues like the sh*tty talent rework it has huge potential.

I'm not understanding what is so special about this remix thing. I didn't play MoP and even I have already done just about every quest, dungeon and raid at this point. So why am I supposed to be doing it again?
Because its not classic mop, its a remix with completely new gearing etc. And for the FUN of it.. experiencing the raids and dungeons again with df class system etc. Its a "remix" funny enough, if it aint for you, just play literally any of the other content there is atm... Stop being such a downer

Due to the release of WW in late summer/early fall Cata classic should be delayed unless there are really that many that will just never play retail again and classic is their only game.

The game-makers really should poll the player base and ask about making Garrosh heirlooms obtainable again.
Tons of WoW events are billed as limited-time and yet still make a re-appearance if it makes sense- financially or in terms of story-telling, or both. and Garrosh's heirloom drops fit both criteria. I imagine most players who were around during MoP didn't get a chance to collect all of them and would enjoy a second chance. And for the majority of current players who weren't around then, for one reason or another, would welcome the bonus loot and might even be thereby encouraged to make a new character to invest time into.
Make it happen, Blizzard.

Instead of giving these very cool reverse versions of mounts why we still dont have racial mounts updated they are so out of date its ridiculous + same thing with many warlock and paladin mounts so outdated. We can get vicious mounts but those are unobtainable for majority of casual players which is a really shame

if furion and tyrande never are used again this games story is worse than ever, I like shandres leading but furion and tyrande are still both very powerful and should along with others be used in story to fight big bads

Plunderstorm was kinda pathetic on EU if you won a lot of games, you would get put into games with clearly cheating players using the same "lag hack" as in battlegrounds, but in Plunderstorm where you have to hit your target with aim, its almost impossible as people just teleport arround...

I will say forever, the loss of new dungeons during expansion can never be replaced by mythic Plus. And I love how every content creator has just laid down and died about the lack of new dungeons I just drool over anything about mythic Plus
