What I "want" for a world revamp is getting the old world up to scale, a near impossible feat, but I still want it. Give us Stormwind or Orgrimmar on a scale of Suramar!
It's taken 14 years for them to finally acknowledge that Gilneas exists and get it back from the Scourge and we're STILL waiting to get Gnomeregan back. Revamping anything in the old world isn't happening.
@@joezar33 Well, if you played the last two expansions or kept abreast of the lore, you'd know the Horde is currently being led by a council of all their race leaders.
I hope that if they do eventually revamp the entirety of eastern kingdoms and kalimdor, they won't add more new continents like all those times before, but have the expansion campaigns take place around the existing locations, and have you go to previous locations qgain, too
It really is missing the world in world of warcraft right now, imagine if they implemented large scale moba style PVE where waring factions actually treat towns as bases
I've been playing WoW for over 10 years and in those 10 years my main has always been elves. mainly Blood Elvens. The art in Quelthalas and Suramar always kept me coming back to the game. I will finally be able to rest after seeing the Quelthalas Remake. reminds me of a legendary RUclipsr who had this dream. God bless Hayven Games. I hope he becomes an NPC in rebuilt Quelthalas.
0:13 so crazy to be able to see Hyjal from Mulgore :O I think that's why the world needs a revamp as well. The world of Azeroth feels really small nowadays...
The primary reason I want a world revamp is because I want to see more content that follows storyline, at least in chunks. I always thought the Cataclysm update was pretty great, the only problem, was that it was the beginning of seeing things out of order. From there on, leveling had to get faster and faster because the level cap kept getting further and further away. Chromie time has been a fantastic bandaid to the resulting rushed content but instead of fixing the problem, it made it all the more obvious how difficult it was to truly enjoy old content. I wish I could go back and play the original Blood Elf story: all the way back from seeing the Naaru in Silvermoon City being siphoned, only to return one day and find our beloved prince Kael'thas has taken it from us! Ignore the old world, follow him straight into Outland, learn about Illidan, the Scryers and Tempest Keep in Netherstorm, leading up to a climactic battle with our fallen prince. But it doesn't stop there! We teamed up with the Aldor Draenei, forming the Shattered Sun Offensive to push Kil'jaedan back and see the beginning of a new era as the Sunwell is restored. The fact that I CANNOT choose to play through that storyline cohesively, is a practically criminal waste of Blizzard's work! I want more roleplay in my roleplaying game Bel, is that so much to ask? At least the Sin'dorei actually got an origin storyline. As I didn't play Classic or Vanilla endgame, I don't know how put together the Bronzebeard vs Dark Iron storyline actually is? Would be pretty cool to play through it all, find out about Moira not being captured at all, and see her try and take over Ironforge before accepting a better option for the future of Dwarfkin. Your mention of Dagran coming of age and becoming the emperor and I really, REALLY hope that becomes something like a new origin storyline for the Dwarves for years to come! I want to be able to play through dedicated storylines of particular interest to my race and or class without having to fabricate them myself. Perhaps my Blood Elf wants to play through Legion, discover the Nightborne and Alleria, and be there to see Lorth'remar take to the field for his kin! Ideally this would accompany an overhaul of the character creation menu. I'd have no issue with them keeping Allied Races locked being entire storylines of content, so that you can explicitly go and learn about them before playing as them. The best Kul Tiran and Zandalari story content is explicitly from the perspective of an outsider; it wouldn't be the same to play -as- that race, nor would it make much sense to play them not knowing about it! This would require Blizzard to actively sculpt their past work into cohesive storylines, and it really feels like they'll say it's too much work for too little gain. There's so much cool lore and story on Azeroth but I can't bring myself to recommend it to people the way it is. The world feels so disconnected, out of date, rushed, and an absolute mess, even though I absolutely love it to bits and know there's so much to be enjoyed I really hope you're on track with this one Bel, coz it's a really promising revamp prediction
A new Silvermoon and Eversong will be kinda emotional for me, oof so many years ago. The time I spent there with my tons of belf characters 😭💙. And it was always sad that the city was just a monument.. nothing happened there… people didn’t really hang out there
I really hope the zones don't turn into void-infested nonsense like, say, the vale of eternal blossoms. Using phasing or whatever... I want a peaceful, beautiful eversong woods + silvermoon city like we already have, just updated and expanded.
I'm hoping the updated Silvermoon City will be like full of players with things to do and just overall hangout instead of just sitting in Orgrimmar and Stormwind since Blood Elves have been a huge part of the horde and kind of odd for blood elf players to just be sitting around in orgrimmar instead of silvermoon.
Hopefully with better buildings that isn't the same like I could see Stromgarde use the New Arathi Buildings and Order itself as different red kingdom instead of stormwind stuff.
Oof, the "going deep, not wide", at the start made me think, imagine an expansion where zones go up, like a series of platforms like in Nagrand. Maybe getting colder the further up.
The “after WorldSoul” era needs Imagine Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms reinvented on a massive immersive scale, similar to Skyrim’s depth and scale, and the plans for Quel Thalas. Even if it takes multiple expansions to fill in just Eastern Kingdoms. In 2029 it should be feasible to imagine this for the core areas of WoW, it would restore the sense of unmatchable immersive scale and living lore that Vanilla brought to life in 2004. It also wouldn’t require a gimmicky plot that tries to outdo the WorldSoul ending.

I'd love it if rather than slaping on a new zone for the various patches within an expansion, they instead updated one of the old ones and hosted a narrative there
There is one thing of the revamp of Qual'Thalas that keeps me wondering. The Blood Elves managed the float temples/shrines in the air. What if there are more these even higher in the sky above the clouds? Maybe even an entire city (but not Dalaran, but something new)?
We’re not waiting half a decade for the game to move past its 2010 face, they gotta hurry tf up. I’ve been done waiting since 2018 when they painted the continents blue and red with their little BfA “cinematic.”
Silvermoon is a gorgeous city thats criminally underused. Many blood elf players never even step foot in the city anymore. To see that city become a place you actully go for stuff and it being revamped with more modern graphics would be a treat
I'm pretty sure Blizz has essentially said they're not touching the current version of the Blood Elf zones, they're making an entirely new set of those zones to stick at the top of Eastern Kingdoms we'll fly to over the portal to the old zones, and those new zones will be DI size
I would love to see a Full Revamp of the Old World like in Eras ether Classic Vanilla, Cataclysm, or just overall current timeline with HD Graphics, HD Builded Models, and everything. Zones and races that could use a huge update are the Gnomes, Dwarves, Trolls, Tauren, Draenei, Blood Elves/Void/High Elves, and etc. I can't recall the last time Quel'thalas in general was updated completely or even in the old world in general near the borders of plaguelands of lordaeron.
Hey man, please don't remind me of the revamp every third day, i can't fucking wait for it. Let me forget it slowly so it can hit me in the face when the time comes
For years I've wanted a series of expansions based around us reclaiming our lands from the void or other invaders. Like if we spent an expansion off-world and came back to find it overrun by evil forces and groups, and we had a Kalimdor expansion, an EK expansion, etc, to get rid of them, retake our cities and mostly tidy up
I wish. I LOVED cataclysm for a lot of reason but the main one was the revamp. It took many alts to quest every zone and it was so refreshing. I think endgame is important but making lvling fresh and appealing is so important. (I think it's too fast right now, 120 was too long, but a middle ground would be ideal imo)
Maybe Midnight is going to continue the vertical design of the new zones in TWW, where we fly seamlessly down into azjol nerub like we did with Zaralek?
An updated version of the old world is literally the only thing I am looking forward to with retail WoW. I think it could definitely revitalise the appeal for old players if done well, for example, I know that there are a lot of people who prefer old Orgrimmar over the Cataclysm era Orgrimmar that we currently have in-game. So, I think if they can rebuild the old world in a way that is consistent with the original style of the zones, then that could be a huge win for WoW.
I hope though that the zones get an update in Pandaria though, such as repairs had been done, a different updated story (you can do the old story with Chromie, but something updated at least) That's the thing, MoP is over 10 years old now and is definitely on my list of things that should get an update, maybe fix the issue with Ji and Aysa and give them something more to do in a new quest story/plot. Call it fixing certain things that should've been done but wasn't back then. Then move onto Legion zones, BFA zones aqnd do that expansion by expansion but keep the world updated. For Pandaria, it's mostly damage repair and helping to fix mantid etc damage which I know was done in books but needs to be put in game as well now.
Also because I was bored, but ty for content. Sounds very plauzible, making new expansion while updateing zone per new story segments. So no rush, quality work. Now if the gameplay gets better generally (outside of mythic and raids, they might get results) (also an updated group finder UI).
I'm fairly convinced that nerubians will become playable after TWW because...I mean look at them. They're humanoid and look dope, gimme gimme. If so, the allied factions of nerubians would definitely be interested in exploring Azjol'Nerub. Plus, I find it likely that Azjol'Nerub is in some way connected to Harrowdeep already, either built within it or adjacent to it in some way. It just feels so obvious to keep nerubians as a consistent thread through these next three expansions to me, maybe with a slight break for Midnight.
I've played a blood elf since the launch day of bc. I can't wait to see what they do with the elven lands up to now we can't even fly in 😂 if they expand the lands out, that's icing on the cake for me. Just let me fly lol🎉
Hey Bellular, just wanted to take a moment and thank you for everything you do for us, for all the content that keep this crowd of nerds updated, it’s amazing! Once again thank you soo much; you are doing great every day! 🎉🤗
Revamp the old zones (make them bigger), polish and improve quest, ADD Physichs into the mobs when Mage Blast it should push the Mob Backwards the corpse should roll on surface that isn't flat. Everything feel stiff and solid even riding my mount! Make it smoother not only graphic update add more animations! Bats flying from inside the CAVE (reacting to your presence)! Riding a Canu boat on the river should feel fun! Adding sewer system beneath human major cities Androhal or Stormwind. Adding new proffesion Navigation instead of Mini Map should make exploration more fun. Every place should feel authenthic, world come to life!
Do we also see a shift in WoW going from a purely progression based MMO to having A Lot more Social Aspects and systems, like some other MMOs? Obviously I'm theorizing at Player Housing in WoW and the potential Cash Cow that it could be. Just look at housing in ESO and the money some players have gladly dropped to decorate some of the most insane player houses in any virtual space.
It would be so cool if after the last titan we basically start the game over from classic era vibes where we’re all fresh noobs just exploring a new world but this time it’s because we have shed our old titan bonds and are now ready to fully embrace Azeroth and her newly awoken world.
Here is what I would do, make Chromie be able to send the player back in time, so the player can set the world to any time frame, and then just go nuts, make the world feel like it’s changing
Well they'd have to revamp the bloodelf starting zone if an expansion takes place there other wise all you'd have are ground mounts that would suck after all the dragon riding they said they were gonna add to all those other mounts.
They need to do voice lines for all quests too. It is possible in ESO, so it should also be possible in WOW. Maybe some AI voice makeover could be possible too I think. I would really love it, all lore fans would appreciate this I think!
this would be terrible idea, changing the classic world in cata was one of the biggest mistakes in hindsight blizzard had ever done. unless they have a solid plan to allow you to return to the cata azeroth this will be just as poorly received in the long term.
All the game needs is scaling of all previous expansions to current, that includes all raids and dungeons with their loot. It can very clearly be done as we see it every season with M+ and fated in s4. Make running past content more than just transmog runs.
All seems logical and even likely, BUT... 5:30 "it will also be the end - where everyone will have had a heritage armor quest." Pandaren Players be like: (ง ͠ಠ_ಠ)ง
there are a few thing's wrong. one Moria's son is only half dark iron and bronzebeard, he has no claim to the last clan the wildhammer's so he can't be king of the mountain if he doesn't marry into the wildhammer clan or earn there favor by doing some thing extraordinary like cleansing Grim Batol of shadow and void. secondly the pandaren have not had there heritage armor yet so they are technically the last to get there's.
At this point, a wow 2.0 would benefit them in the long run. New engine allowing them to port over assists. I am suprised that perf issues are not an issue.
I'm glad I am not the only one clocking this channel for rehashing the same theories over and over... in the last year this has to be like an seventh video about a world revamp.
Hahaha I was like "omg yesss a revamp videoo, just want I needed" honestly I could watch like 20 more of Belullar's revamp videos. I just genuinely enjoy it so much :D
@@fathelos It'd just be nice if there was any actual new information underpinning it... why make a video about it if you have nothing new to add since the last one?
I think it is safe to say we will never see another cataclysm style revamp again. If anything one zone will change and we will be able to talk to a bronze dragon in humanoid form and talk to them if we want to switch between the redone zone or the zone as it was in the past. identical to silithus.

It's fun to speculate and think about all this stuff. 😊
Seeing how the Naga have achieved nothing, there are bound to be rogue groups dissengaging from the void cause
Another revamp video to re-hype me. LETS FKN GO!!!
Silvermoon is a gorgeous city thats criminally underused. Many blood elf players never even step foot in the city anymore. To see that city become a place you actully go for stuff and it being revamped with more modern graphics would be a treat
Looking forwards to a world revamp that i can completely ignore with dungeon finder leveling
I'm pretty sure Blizz has essentially said they're not touching the current version of the Blood Elf zones, they're making an entirely new set of those zones to stick at the top of Eastern Kingdoms we'll fly to over the portal to the old zones, and those new zones will be DI size
"poking at my shadowlands" is some hilarious phrasing
I want to care, but then I realize this is all happening on Retail... and then I stop giving a shit.

is the azeroth revamp in the room with us right now, michael?
World of Warcraft 2.0 in 2029? Yes please!
Let me forget it slowly so it can hit me in the face when the time comes
y'all need to match the audio volume of your sponsored section to the audio of the actual news segment - its off atm
For years I've wanted a series of expansions based around us reclaiming our lands from the void or other invaders. Like if we spent an expansion off-world and came back to find it overrun by evil forces and groups, and we had a Kalimdor expansion, an EK expansion, etc, to get rid of them, retake our cities and mostly tidy up
It all fits and exactly my thoughts, awesome vid ^^
A world revamp is way overdue especially with Cata Classic coming out soon. We should have gotten one in BoA, imo.
This title seems very clickbaity.
Obviously just titled to line your pockets.
Bellular needs to be global muted irl
updated booty bay could be such a vibe, i really they hope nail it.
That is EXACTLY why classic/sod is so popular. Eastern kingdom, kalmador, and northrend are the core of wow lore and important areas. Cmon classic +
Micheal is a great analyst. I am glad we have him in our community :)
This is great I'm also wondering if they will ever revamp the old tier armor/weapons from past expansions.
That sounds like a terrible story, but you'll get similar mechanics as they will go over to the secret continent
You had me at „Grizzly Hills“
Here is what I would do, make Chromie be able to send the player back in time, so the player can set the world to any time frame, and then just go nuts, make the world feel like it’s changing
I'd love to see Ice Trolls make their way into the playable races.
It really pisses me off as a vanilla to present dwarf main, that horde are getting earthen fuck this bs
Horde vs Alliance hasn’t been relevant for quite a while now. It doesn’t matter.
Maybe it dosent matter to you. It matters to me. The horde will always be the true enemey of the alliance.@ChinnuWoW
Ah, the weekly revamp. I was getting worried I may not see it
I don't understand the fascination with a world revamp. so people want all the zones they're never going to visit be better looking? for what purpose?
The new…expansions…take place…in the … revamped…old world.
@@no-budhee6657 this video... is about... revamping.... it all.... not just.... the areas.... of the expansion. wow, I can do it too. much fun
I hope it happens, and I hope they use the assists to make a Classic + as well, but I’m not holding my breath.
4:40 as a nelf main that hits me right in the soul
this would be terrible idea, changing the classic world in cata was one of the biggest mistakes in hindsight blizzard had ever done. unless they have a solid plan to allow you to return to the cata azeroth this will be just as poorly received in the long term.
All the game needs is scaling of all previous expansions to current, that includes all raids and dungeons with their loot. It can very clearly be done as we see it every season with M+ and fated in s4. Make running past content more than just transmog runs.
All seems logical and even likely, BUT...
5:30 "it will also be the end - where everyone will have had a heritage armor quest."
Pandaren Players be like: (ง ͠ಠ_ಠ)ง
The old world had a special charm to it that I’m afraid they won’t capture with a revamp.
there are a few thing's wrong. one Moria's son is only half dark iron and bronzebeard, he has no claim to the last clan the wildhammer's so he can't be king of the mountain if he doesn't marry into the wildhammer clan or earn there favor by doing some thing extraordinary like cleansing Grim Batol of shadow and void. secondly the pandaren have not had there heritage armor yet so they are technically the last to get there's.
At this point, a wow 2.0 would benefit them in the long run. New engine allowing them to port over assists. I am suprised that perf issues are not an issue.
And here we see the common WoW content creator lost in the sauce.
This combined with all of SoDs issues and balances worked out, could be a game Blizz. Could be a game.
GOOD LORD...ARE THEY ACTUALLY THREATENING
TO DO A REPAINT ON THE OLD WORLD!
I MEAN...IT'S ONLY BEEN 20 YEARS!
I think it is safe to say we will never see another cataclysm style revamp again. If anything one zone will change and we will be able to talk to a bronze dragon in humanoid form and talk to them if we want to switch between the redone zone or the zone as it was in the past. identical to silithus.
