I would love to see a STR rental income video, I always find it fascinating and so interesting to see seasonality included etc. Also would love to hear what other hosts make in crazy months like October with ACL and F1.

Online it pretty much says you cant do air bnb in city limits but I see so many places on air bnb in the city how do they get around this? Are they just taking a big risk and hoping they don’t get caught? I’m very confused ?

I had to hire the right people to help me run everything! The biggest lesson I've learned in entrepreneurship is that you can't do everything yourself, you have to delegate or else you'll burn out and waste time on menial tasks instead of making action towards big goals.

Kaya! I am interested in starting airbnb arbitrage in Austin and I came across something online that says I must have a license to do short term rentals in the city. Could you help me figure this problem out and how to go about starting an airbnb in Austin? Thank you so much!
You do need a license to operate a short term rental in Austin. You also have to pay hotel occupancy taxes! When I got my STR license, I literally just called the STR department at city of Austin and they were really helpful for guiding me on docs I needed to provide to get my STR license

It varies depending on your market, but things to include are the down payment for the property, furniture, amenities like sheets, towels, etc, and permits and licenses.
You can't imagine how much I like the phrase "25-year-old girl." Truthfully sometimes I feel like a 65-year-old girl. We can all be girls or women as the situation requires.

Totally!! Seasonality is a big factor in Austin, I’d say October and March are the biggest months for sure.

My permit only took a few weeks! It was a pretty painless process, just had to upload some docs and pay the application fee
