  • The Porsche Cayenne changed the way Porsche builds and operates cars in the modern area - the bread and butter, the hottest selling car from the Porsche stable sure packs a punch and brings in more joys per km than another car that I have driven.
However, how does the ownership experience hold up after a few years and how well does the car hold up in terms of maintenance and value? Find out on this video

This was a glorified sales brochure, not a guide on the mechanical merits and disadvantages of the vehicle. For instance, the Motor Mounts. On normally aspirated models , they can be changed with the engine inside the vehicle. The turbo model, the turbos are in the way , so the engine has to come out!

Is this worth it? I'm a dealer as well. Was thinking of buying one for myself for an everyday driver. I have a 911. Haven't owned a cayanne yet. I'd had in inventory and driven them. But not the turbo yet. The one I'm looking at has 65k miles and fully loaded. Worth it?

With a 911 in the garage this would be a great idea to compliment the fleet. The Cayenne will feel like a 911 on steriods in terms of size and proportions but it's definitely worth having a 911 SUV and the Turbo will surprise you with its performance.

      Unreliable high maintenance

The normally aspirated 4.8 GTS is the better move for handling and driving - plus a more “glorious note.” GenZ may never have the opportunity to drive a NA V8. Sad. A total blast to drive.
      It’s not a 911. When I want to play or take a track day, 0 to 60 in 2.8 sec I’m taking my 911 anyways 😊

Absolutely, just waiting for the Toyota guys to arrange for the press release cars so I can get my hands on it.

    • @v8dxb

It’s bearable to be honest. Does around 450 500 kms on a 100 liter tank
