Buy the V6 base model. I have one. Came with 21inch rims and tires and handles like a dream. Hit the sport button its more than enough. Its perfect to jump around town quick fast and in a hurry. Dont listen to this due moss.

Good work, but haven’t really EXPLAINED anything. What we were looking for is a more factual review/explanation .. . “Doesn’t look premium” “nicer leather” “plain Jane” … these are all subjective points & not incredibly helpful with all due respect.
WHY is not as nice as the turbo exactly? factually? ‘Exact Measurements :width / length difference ? Space inside difference ? Trunk space difference? Difference in zero to 60 in….? suspension? What’s the actual drive like in both :Taking corners, etc ?? Specifics of engine differences??? What EXACTLY are we getting for the money?
    ‘“The 6 cylinder isn’t premium” - that’s not really saying anything tangible…

      Crystal London
There is a video that will be coming out that will compare the cayennes in depth with more in depth comparison. We have not had a chance to relase the video yet, so stay tuned but for now here are some of the diffrences just to name a few.
Turbo model vs V6 models are similar in comparison as comparing any other high end model to low end model. For example just like purchasing a Mercedes-Benz S350 vs the S63 AMG or a reguler BMW 525I vs a BMW M5. Hope this make sense?
There are lots of differences with the Cayenne models, Premium everything comes standard, including all leather dash and door panels. Cayenne VR6 has 296hp engine and is closs to 8s 0-60 (slow) vs Turbo 500hp and 4.3s 0-60. Tottally diffrent suspension auto nitrogen system, Large brakes to stop all that power as well, big wide wheels/ tires for more grip. Handling and ride comfort on a Turbo model is way different and about 35% better as far a comfort and handling goes, turbo model suspension comes standard with 5 level settings including, comfort, normal, sport (off road mode and low mode). Let me know if you had any other questions.

I don't see how the VR6's (not v6) in this video are a mistake, you really dissed them for no good reason. Both the VR6's in this video have heated and cooled seats that are 14 way adjustable, which is an upgrade from stock; neither the Turbo or the S in this video have the cooled seat option. Also the Turbo has base seats compared to the S which has upgraded seats. The VR6's also have panoramic sunroofs, while the Turbo just has a base roof. The Turbo also didn't have steering wheel controls. So if I was buying a Cayenne based on "bling", the VR6's in this video are the best optioned. It's important to note for anyone looking to buy a Porsche, that the options list is massive on these cars, and most options are available across all trim levels. You may find a VR6 with zero options, or you may find them with a few good ones like the cars here. This can be really important when buying used as far as bang for the buck.

It's an opinion video, as in, he doesn't really know what he's talking about. The V8 is a nightmare, there's a lot of videos out there of long-term ownership of the.V8 and the turbo and they add up to over the total cost of the car new with $3K here, $5K there... and that's DIY fixes. You'll find most videos of the V6 base models where they've gone 100,000 miles with no issues... that will not happen on the V8 or the ones this guy who seems to only open and close hoods and make his uninformed pontifications.

Besides looks and power, is there any other reason why you do not recommended V6? My daily is a FBO 2017 GT-R, so I already have a fun car. I was thinking the V6 does not have the plastic coolant lines that break and it's not fast enough for my wife to do something stupid.

Just bought 2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid 3.0T single turbo with 29000 miles. First time Porsche owner. SUV drives great. Would like to know if you've come across any issues that I should be aware of, what to monitor and what fluids should be replaced religiously besides engine oil and transmission oil. One downside to owning this SUV is that GIAC doesn't have tuning software for E-Hybrid, but they do have it for the Base 3.0 single turbo which is what I have in addition to Electric motor. Thank you for your input.

For the hybrids make sure the battery gets good cooling as in make sure wherever they draw air from is not blocked or clogged by dust and for turbos just change oils earlier and give them good time to cool down after a drive

@@motorsports5614 completely understand, but the S in this video is the older V8. The newer model have the 3.0T engine, I didnt hear him mention this. I also read elsewhere that the base V6 are more reliable since they are pretty basic, no turbo, no air suspension, etc..If i am getting one I would go with the S 2016 and newer has i only heard bad things about the V8. Far as turbo, the older models are about the same price of a newer S. Keep the feedback coming cayenne is definitely on my list.

i live in panama, drive a v6. just enough for the roads. do all the maintenance by myself. topspeed here 65 m/h like in usa. the newer 4.8 v6 is a scrap engine. too many problems and really expensive in maintenance service. thats my point of view
    when v8 i prefer 4.5, less problems

VR6 VW engine used in Audi and Volkswagen Jetta GLI and GTi. And the VR6 engines are known for timing stretch. V8 models are trouble free and are made by Porsche. Don’t buy a Porsche if you’re concerned about spending money but instead buy a TOYOTA.

Differential, suspensions, interior, materials, transmission, braking, comfort, spark plugs etc. Body style, aerodynamics and I can keep all night long. Well, I could afford 2 v6 and still keep almost 90k with me and making around $11k a month in a country where minimum wage is like $500. Paid $23k and $26k for each a year ago. No bank debt. Reselling a v8 here takes months if not years so I'm totally ok with that and I'm not poor. Btw I'm 27 years old. There's a lot of people with more or less money.
