Neither is definetly better, some things are much better on OSX version some on PC. Merging best of both into one one would make for best and most detailed map. PSX skybox looks nicer i too.
Might want to not stretch the 4:3 to 16:9 - you can use a widescreen hack on both PS1 and PC so it isn't all fat. They would have both fit on the screen better if you had left them at 4:3!
What's your preferred version? I grew up playing the PS1 version but nowadays I like the PC version the most, I can't stand the short draw distance of the PS1.

Funny. I'd probably be playing PC version of over the PS1 release on Duckstation if it had functional widescreen and PS1 car models.
