    Q: I cant switch between UEFI and Legacy or the switch didn't work. What now?
    A: If you cant find or do not have that option, then move on and try the rest of the steps in this updated video: • How To Fix Lenovo Boot... . Does your Lenovo have diagnostic test ability as seen there? Can you find any Repair or Recovery options in BIOS?
    If not, try to install Windows as seen here;

    A: To access BIOS seen at 2:58, its F2
    Q: What are some other keys people have used to access those options?
    A: Some viewers have used Fn+F12
    Q: It says I can’t enable the legacy option ROMS with PTT enabled
    A: Go into the Security Tab and try to Disable PTT Security. If that does not work, then skip that step, and continue with the rest of the video. If you cannot locate the options to switch between or if switching does not work, then skip that step and continue with the rest of the video :)

      thank you i managed to run it. But i have run the computer with system recovery via "recovery boot" button and system recovery. But all i get is lenovo screen with logo and spinning ring. It never gets to that fulfilling bar that will get you to repair screen. Really do not know what to do.

      @@jurajkrajcik4410 1. You have run what? Did you run the diagnostic test as seen in that updated video?
      2. Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?

      @@PC_Monkey i ve managed to run the diagnostics and reinstalled windows, but after reinstall Windows will not let me pass logging into account and blue screen of death appears. Looks like ssd is damaged.

      @@jurajkrajcik4410 1. What was the result of the diagnostic test? Did it pass the drive?
      2. Yes, if the install didnt work, most of the time, that would mean a bad drive :(

      It asked for a password when I clicked on f2 and I don't remember any password cause I've had this issue like 1 year now and forgot about it, now I just decided to try and fix it and here I am

      @@Billy.Nomates 1. Are you able to find any Recovery or Repair options in BIOS?
      2. If changing BIOS settings didnt work, or you cannot change those settings, then move on and try to install Windows as seen here; ruclips.net/video/l3AVGlVWUsI/видео.html. You can create your own install media for free as seen here; ruclips.net/video/g_UhiHScaSI/видео.html. If you dont have another computer to use for creating the Install Media, you may have to purchase it. If so, make sure you get INSTALL Media and not Recovery Media. If you need help finding the correct item, let me know :) If that does not work, then your hard drive is most likely bad. Replace as seen here; ruclips.net/video/tNp5Kbo9uHg/видео.html.

    Thank God for your video this evening. I altered something in my bios and have for the past hour tried to get a thinkpad to boot into Windows 10. I tried everything as I thought with no success until I came to your video. The problem was start up was not on legacy. Thank goodness for people like you and for the internet.     My Lenova ideapad 310 was stuck on the lenovo restarting page and nothing i did would allow me to get into BIOS mode. I kept trying and trying and then F2 finally worked. I followed your instructions, changed to legacy and it worked!! I'm so glad I didn't lose all my data. Thank you so much for making this video !!

    Thank you so much.i work in TCS company and was calling helpdesk alot of times but no help. Today i have to return laptop and suddenly it just don't go after boot..i tried again and again..and then come to this video.     Wow this has been very helpful. I was having this issue with my work laptop where it will just constantly boot and not going to my login screen. After hours of scouring the web and finally came up to your video and it resolved it in just a few seconds after unplugging my mouse and keyboard as you suggested. It started right up. Thanks a lot.     I was trying to re set a Lenovo for a friend as she wanted to sell it. After the carefully following the re set procedure it got a boot loop! I found your great video which was really good and clear and the machine re did the Windows 10 thing and now it works fine. THANK YOU SO MUCH PCM.

    Bro, you rock.
    Even though I haven't got to the core of my issue yet, I still admire youre explaining of why you do something that way.
    I have tried to reset windows 10, because I couldn't get rid of a chromium browser. I tried and tried, but couldn't, so opted for a reset.
    Then a month later, I caught the chromium again, so I reset again. But this time, the background looked a slight different colour, the icons were slightly different, all of it was, to a degree.
    So I reset a third time, and I got stuck in this "boot-loop" - with the "NTFS FILE SYSTEM" Message, to give to a support technician...
    I don't know if youre able to figure it out, or wether I will be able to, with assists from your knowledgeable fans, remains to be seen.
    Still, love the vids, man.

    Oh my goodness I wish I checked this video 6 months ago when this exact thing happened because of an error whilst updating. It happened to my computer again and the switchinf to legacy mode worked!

    Thank you so much! I received a new laptop today and it gave the message that my pc restarted and it might need an update but once u hit next and Cortana comes up, it would not go past that and it kept looping and repeating the message. It started working after I changed the Boot Mode. Now we are up and running!

    Thank you for this video! I switched the booting modes and UCFI didnt work for me, but once Legacy was on again, I was able to boot my computer to the login screen. Thank youuuu

      @@PC_Monkey hi i factory resetted mine and chose the option to reinstall windows from my device before i started. Now it wont boot up after reset completed. Whats the fix? Install windows from a usb or disc?

      @big fish For that issue, your on the correct video. Have you tried the steps seen here yet? If you are installing Windows, then you would delete the partitions before installing.       @big fish Sounds like the hard drive may be going bad. Replace it as seen here; ruclips.net/video/uZkmsJW5bbc/видео.html. Then install Windows to the new drive.

      Pc Monkey please help me. Last time my lenovo thinkpad yoga 12 was shutting down and I close it be for its completely shut down. After that it thinkpad light blinks for 3 seconds and straight turn off. Nothing on the display.
      My charger was giving short AC current it may also the reason. I have tried all power drain method but don't works. Kindly help.
