This is my go-to tool for removing any spin-on oil filter. It always removes them cleanly and effectively, no matter how stuck they are.

My dad was pissed I did an oil change in my driveway tried to do it behind his back but the filter was locked on tight. I overnighted this tool and it f’n worked! D
This tool is everything you hoped it would be. I had a stuck oil filter on my lawn tractor and in my haste, proceeded to destroy it in many poor attempts to remove it. All I was left with was the rim of the oil filter. I figured I would try this tool. Well, the tool was able to latch on to the oil filter rim and as I turned, the filter began to loosen. The harder you turn, the more it tightens its grip. This tool saved my butt and I cannot thank you enough for posting this video. Awesome!
This removal tool just saved my @$$ on a 454 Chevy. Used an 3/8 extention with a 1/2' reducer on the 1/2" breaker bar. Fit in between headers and chassis. Thanks you for the info and video. Really neat tool. The best $17 dollars I spent in my life. 😃
Funny this should pop up in my RUclips feed. I was just having a heck of a time with a particular oil filter.
Thanks, it got off a mangled stuck fast filter.
hah, I actually need to remove a stuck motorcraft filter. perfect. ty. Even used your Amazon link.
Where's the Amazon link?
Looks like anytime you back off the ratchet wrench for another turn it will lose it's grip and require repositioning.
A spring action might improve this. Of course, you may only need one good turn to start the removal.
Wish that stuff was 1/2" not 3/8" so it would fit the breaker bar instead of breaking the small ratchet.
yeah. i finally broke down and just bought a 3/8" breaker bar
Use a 3/8 extension…
MAANNNN... Where did you get that from? I need that asap where's the link?
I had bought one to does not work is slips on the Filter and the legs are to thick
Had one of those and poof when I need it it’s no where to be found
Definitely won’t slip?
