- Stuck oil filter got ripped off ! what to do now !!.
Have you ever used the wrong tool to take off your stuck oil filter and ripped it ! or perhaps a screwdriver trick didn't work this time!!
Well this has happened to Frog on his Volvo 240. Now Nimrod will show you his solution to the problem . With the few tools and a little Yankee ingenuity things will turn out OK

Looks like easy diy project, only two days of labor, and thousands of $ of tools involved
No It took about 2 hours, More like $600 in tools, but ..... when you a Nimrod you have tools.

I just dealt with an oil filter from hell…… if you have a little room, you might find success using a hammer drill. I was able to catch a hole in the the top of the shedded filter…. Less than 60 seconds it was off.

Please share how exactly you did it i had spend 4:days trying to removed that evil oil filter
Nice work. I just screw 2 fasteners in opposing drain holes and carefully use a small pry bar or whatever to break torque. They make tools specifically for this now, by the way.
That just happened to me and I thought of making of a tool and then I look it up and you made that that's badass

I do believe you can find adjustable ones ask uncle google , this particular one may not line up with the holes on your filter.
Like if we really got all this equipment at home.

They sell something like what you made.......That adjusts to different filters, it called Bogert talon oil filter tool. Check out the videos on youtube !
