@@EthanFelixReignsyeah most people don’t like accepting how absolutely powerful ghost rider is especially when zarathos takes over. Those last two panels really show that johnny took an out to get away from him but rogue could not handle zarathos which is why she was in agony and looked like she was about to keel over when johnny took ghost rider back. It was quite obvious she wouldn’t have been able to take the spirit by force.
I love this story because it just show's how powerful a spirit of of vengeance is, Zarathos made the avengers look like children in this issue he even ripped Mephisto's heart out in his own realm the same Mephisto that was powerful enough to push Galactus when he entered his realm, Had Rogue and Johnny not been present Zarathos would of killed them
Also Dr strange gave them all a spell for resistance to Zarathos's stare,Had strange not done that Thor and everyone else would be long gone.
Remember when World War Hulk fought Ghost Rider and made Zarathos come out? Hulk fans to this day don't realize that Zarathos could have ended The Hulk's temper tantrum right there had he not saw The Hulk as innocent. Even Doctor Strange basically said The Hulk got lucky. Had Zarathos saw that The Hulk was evil in his intent, there would be no WorldBreaker.

Zarathos most likely moved into the Rogue himself. After all, Zarathos is the spirit of vengeance, and not just some kind of force that is transmitted and used as an inanimate object.

Zarathos is a skyfather level charcter written in comics. Zarathor controlled GR is most powerful form of ghost rider. Normal Thor was a fight for him. If Thor has odin force then he would defeat him with high difficulty
Well,no. First off Zarathos controlled GR isn't the most powerful version. It's Johnny Blaze as the King of Hell. Second, however powerful Thor may become he can never kill a ghost rider since he is an immortal and can't be killed except by God(In this case the holy god NOT gods of mythologies). Third his power is limitless and as stated by Zadkiel if a GR was to go Rampant he could end existence itself. And finally Ghost Rider has fought Thor Before quite a few times before not only him but he took on all the avengers at once and easily beat them.And he beat thor easily while MOCKING him. Even here normal thor is far from a match for him he could get killed if strange didn't put a spell on him. There's a reason why writers say they don't know how to involve GR without him just being OP for a crossover storyline.

It's been shown long before already that Zarathos is stronger than thor. Even in the 70's just like this comic, Ghost Rider fought all of the Avengers at once and clapped all of them with ease. Especially hulk and Thor the strongest of them. He mocked Thor for his pride and he was faster than Mjolnir itself and not to mention he used that same Mjolnir to ram his bike in Thor's face to make fun of him. And a reason for Ghost Rider not not do too much of interaction and cross overs is that he would just be too OP and whatever storyline may get finished much earlier .

The writing was inconsistent. Sometimes Zarathos did not have blue fire. Sometimes Blackheart looks like a skull with a Goat legs.
