▸ Ghost Rider is the name of multiple antiheroes and superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Marvel had previously used the name for a Western character whose name was later changed to Phantom Rider.
The first supernatural Ghost Rider is stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze, who, to save the life of his father, agrees to give his soul to "Satan" (later revealed to be an arch-demon named Mephisto). At night and when around evil, Blaze finds his flesh consumed by hellfire, causing his head to become a flaming skull. He rides a fiery motorcycle and wields blasts of hellfire from his body, usually from his skeletal hands. He eventually learns he has been bonded with the demon Zarathos. Blaze is featured in the series Ghost Rider (vol. 2) from 1972 to 1983.

I think Wolverine becoming the temporary host for the Spirit of Vengeance makes for a way more compelling story than the human torch. I could only imagine crazy it would be if the Spirit had the knowledge of everything that happened to and by Logan after he became its new host, and decided penance was required.
It's happening in a couple months believe it or not. It's in the solicitations, and if memory serves me correct the cover has been released so you can actually see what Wolverine will look like. He's basically just an adamantium skeleton covered in hellfire.

Sure, it would especially if they explored the duality of man right? Cus like wolverine is the BEST at what he does and what he does isn't nice. So like, an internal penance stare...like he's looking in the mirror and the Rider is looking back from the reflection.

This whole series is everything I wanted from a Rider story. It's so good. The body horror is top notch.

I like how he can give a quick review at the beginning. Sometimes it's an ok story, sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it's glorious.
One of my favorite stories is when Ghost Rider, Wolverine, & Punisher teamed up against Blackheart when he was trying to overthrow Mephisto his father and take over Hell.
The Hearts of Darkness TPBs. I know for sure there where two, but might have been three. I loved how later they actually hated running into one another because shyt was going to hit the fan with all three of them together.

I’d love for a Johnny storm ghost rider story. I can just imagine his human torch form being a skeleton on fire, but his flames are hell fire. Imagine the catastrophe that’d befall any poor mofo that’d make him go super nova 😂

This is one of the shortest greatest stories you've ever covered Robert.
What made me eager to click and watch it immediately was when I saw ghostrider(johnny blaze) and wolverine.
If memory serves the last time I read a comic with this two characters was when they battled nightmare and it was Danny ketch not Johnny blaze as ghostrider at the time. (I read this comic when I was in my JS 2, pretty much a long time ago )
This was a very nostalgic experience for me.

@@deeznutz5248 No, it's different but it doesn't suck. They rushed so many projects in minimum amount of time that's why people find them oversaturated now, although there are still some good projects like NWH, Shang Chi, Werewolf by Night and Gaurdians Vol 3.

I remember that adamantium and hellfire react HORRIFICALLY when combined. I remember old Ketch and Logan team-ups involving Nightmare, where simply scratching Ghostrider with adamantium causes explosive feedback

This is the Ghost Rider introduction we need in the MCU. This whole run. I feel like the stories where heroes are reintroduced are the ones they should go with. Like The Sentry comic that Rob covered recently. We can just have the original origin explained to us in the movie. "How did you get your powers, Johnny Blaze?" "Well, the spirit of vengeance possessed me so now I battle demons and punish the wicked."
