    Phil used Bradite on pvc window couple of years ago, went back to job to do something else and windows still in great shape, also use it on my own window pvc and exterior cills, the wife loves it how easy to wipe calls, in Ireland it cost 38 euro 1ltr, 78 euro 2.5 litre, love your posts, from a brother of the brush TT DUB

    I've just sprayed the cupboards in our Utility, using Bradite One Can, slate grey, with the Graco quick shot, was my first time using the Graco, but I've rolled the paint before. Really chuffed with the outcome, 8/10 I'd say, as I did have some newbie issues, I should have thinned the paint, reduced the pressure from 5 to 3, and made sure the pot on the sprayer was topped up. Not sure about using the belt either, as I couldn't keep the sprayer level on my hip. Misses is well chuffed though. Cheers Phil.

    Phil, I used this straight over bare MDF. As you say opacity is not the best, but I found it didn’t lift the fibres as much as other MDF specific paints. It’s tough as well which makes rubbing down between coats a bit harder. Definitely goes over itself much better, I got an excellent finish after three coats using a brush and roller. Ive found it to be a very durable and robust paint 👍

    Old timer here apprentice trained Army tutor - primer undercoat and gloss guy!
    The 'perfect' paint back in the day was an oil based paint called Permaglaze. It was a good all rounder top coat and covered over most substrates including plastic down pipes and guttering. Probably UPVC windows too but this was before they were common in the late 70's early 80's.

    Good review. Like you mention going over existing whites should be fine. most are saying fine with colours. I’ll put on my list for trying it out.
    Cheers Phil.

    I was excited about this product. I followed your positive review with an excellent one from decorators forum. I was thinking wel lthis is the paint for me. Then in the comments following the decorators forum review someone mentioned its poor durability. I was a bit miffed. Can you comment on that please Phil. Thanks

    Used it a couple of weeks ago on old oil based gloss, I give it a quick once over with a red scourer to give it a key etc...first coat was a little grinny but bleached out a little when dry, second one cover fine, nice finish especially on oldish woodwork
    Opacity isn't great great, but thats the trade off with adhesion paints.
    You cant have adhesion AND opacity.
    Good gear, and cheaper than Bedec by a couple of quid
    It could mean the difference between two coats and three though ....maybe the matt covers a bit better🤔

    If anyones having issues with the opacity of the white I recommend getting your retailer /merchant to add some white colourant from their tinting machine makes it much better also remember it’s a complete system in a single can so expect 3 coats minimum .

    Good timing on the blisters on hardwoods front. It’s baffling me on a job at the minute. Used water based Allcoat in black on hardwood French doors and 8 weeks later there’s little blisters everywhere! Going back next week to try and rectify. What is your go to explanation Phil and I did say aluminium when I went back to look at it, would you say to give that a go too? Cheers mate

    Hi Phil thanks for the review. I have tidy up a rental property I own that was last painted 5 years ago. Would this product look ok after 1 coat over previously glossed woodwork? 100% perfection not needed. Many thanks.🙏

      @ProfessionalPainterDecorator  20 дней назад +1

      It should. A sand over and two coats would be best. Unless you're happy how it looks after one.
