I work away from my home , that I pay for, and my employer pays me 150 per day for room and meals. This is for a working person and the government is giving 240 per day to people who are not legally here, sounds like BS to me Dave. Keep up the good work keeping us informed. i have always worked since 16 years old, single mother at 17, husband died in 2001, ok we were foolish never thought too much about if one of us died. no pension, (that's another story) no insurance, stupid i know but when you are young and happy with life, you were happy. i never allowed us to get into debt though, when he died we had no debt, just the house, paid for in full , i had to survive , moved to nova scotia, bought a house and car (cash), i now live on maybe 2300 dollars (more or less) a month! i do not expect ANYTHING from ANYONE, i will survive!

Ya know something? My feelings for Ontarians and Quebecers will always be a struggle for me due to the fact they love to mistreat us Albertans. However, I don't have an issue with Ontarians and Quebecers moving to Alberta if they leave their Ontario and Quebec way of life in those provinces and come to my Alberta home with a clean slate 😊

New York is giving them transportation within a short distance of Roxanne Rd and yes they are crossing there, and Quebec does not want them so they have a choice go east or west, most choose to go west to Ontario because of greater opportunities for employment.
