@@petercarrington948 Well I bought them in the late 80s for little money. They both had switchable ROMs in it and MIDI. I don't use them much but will never sell them.
Hey, to sync your external synth with the Drumulator using MIDI Clock, you'll first need a MIDI clock source, such as a sequencer or a MIDI clock generator. After setting up the Drumulator with MIDI capability, then you'll need a MIDI cable connecting the MIDI Out of your clock source to the MIDI In of the Drumulator. First enable MIDI Sync or External Clock. Next, press and hold "EXT CLK" on the Drumulator and set the displayed MIDI channel (EC XX) to match the channel your clock source is sending on (often channel 1 by default). Finally, ensure your clock source is set to send MIDI Clock data and matches the tempo of the Drumulator sequence. This should synchronize your external synth with the E-mu Drumulator's internal clock, allowing them to play in time with each other. Let me know if it worked and thanks for watching!
You should get the book Rhythm Machines 2 by Alex Graham as your ''source'. That would tell you the Syntron Digidrum software was from Europe and was nothing to do with Digidrums in the USA.
The track at the end is really nice, well done! I have two of those Drumulators, have to hook them up and see if they still work...!!
Hey! Thanks and let me know how it went with your pair of Drumulators.
What the! Two of those beasts. Respect. A classic drum machine. My mate had a Korg DDD1 in mid 80's and that was a great machine too.

let me know if you want to sell one..
As used by Howard Jones and Depeche Mode. A classic! Glad you highlighted this brilliant drum machine!
The sound is nice and punchy, I love the kick and snare from this machine.
Construction Time Again. 🤟
@@sub-jec-tiv one of my favorite DM early albums.
Great video of the emu drumulator. Had a great rock kit set.
Thanks! That rock kit is amazing, the one Taers for Fears made famous with their Shout single.
