They make me stick to only buying used.
@@TMINE100 same. You can save a few hundred bucks and still get a like new guitar. I think ppl over all take better care of these guitars than they used too. The OG ones got beat to death

I’m a sucker for Zacky guitars I got all his models, so I bought his new h6llyw66d instantly but I do agree that these prices are getting out of hand

Hey Dewey, i picked up one of these new Syn Gates schecters. At first I thought the creaking would go away on the nut when I dive bomb, but it hasn't gone away. Is this supposed to happen to them?
I've played on a Dimeback Razorback USA Dean for years and I picked up one of these and the action is surprisingly high and the nut shifts very little and creaks when I hit a dive bomb.
This that typical of these guitars?
No, that's not typical at all. Tighten the 2 small screws that hold the nut down. Usually they get loose and that'll make the nut creak and move. Try that and see what happens
I like Both new Models Especially Syn’s Distress Satin Black(which I dub the, the Mattel Guitar) but like you said for the price it’s not worth it. The Zacky V H6llyw66d Looks Clean I’m a Sucker for White And Gold but it also looks like a Harley Benton SG that you can get for $300. They Definitely Could’ve done the Switch Blade Inlays to make it better IMO. and lastly, I did notice when I was looking at the Synyster Sigs about a year or so ago, the Prices had Gone up $200/$300 with the Standard Model now being $800 instead of $600(if I remember correctly) so it seems like unfortunately for now the prices on the new models are suffering that Same fate which may be why the H6llyw66d is more Barebones(Zacky Wanting it more “affordable”) and Something like The Mattel Guitar is also So high for something so plain.
I didn't think about it, but that zv does look like a Harley benton 😂 They've definitely raised about $300 in the last 3-4 years. The standard used to be 399-499. Its not just Schecter either doing these raises. Every big name guitar company is doing it also. Best deal on the A7X guitars right now is a used OG model custom. They run around $800 or less depending on condition
@@DeweyJHall1 actually bought a 2011 Golden Goddess for $900 Last Year and it’s absolutely amazing! I hope within the next few years the Prices will lower back down because I would love a Newer Custom-S.
@@zanebrownmusic That's awesome, and a great price also, for a Golden Goddess! Unfortunately I don't think prices are gonna come down on them. Keep your eyes peeled because I do see some good deals on them every now and then. Just have your money ready to go, and be patient

I'm in the UK and i just paid £1,555 for the Satin Gold burst one. Which I considered to be expensive. £2,000 for the exact same guitar just with a "relic" finish is insane to me. Thats a pass from me.
Those satin gold burst models are insanely good! It should have been in the same price range, really a little less, becuase they don't have to spend as much time on the paint

Personally, I do like the new designs of Synyster Gates' guitars. However, I do think the prices are quite steep. Honestly, if I were to spend two thousand dollars, I'd prefer to invest in an Ibanez JEM7VP.
I think if they'd been priced the same as his other models, or a few $100 less, there wouldn't be an issue, and they'd sell pretty well. I don't see these ever selling as well as the stripped models, no matter the price point. They could have done better. They should have called this one "acid rain" and put distressed hardware on it. That would have been pretty cool, if the back of the guitar matched the wear on the front. The back was just lazy on this

@@DeweyJHall1 Well dude, you're literally the only one on the internet that has put out any content related to this guitar model at all. You're like the only one rn! Um, I know that inflation is rough at the moment which explains why the manufacturing costs would be higher... If I'm honest with you, I just really hate the line design on the other models, the lines going up... on every model. The biggest reason I'm getting this guitar is because I really dig the sound that the Late Great Dimebag had, and I love to play a razorback...but they are very heavy. The Syn Gates Schecter is the only one that has a similar wood design, shreddable, sustainiac, floyd rose, similar wood, without the weight; would just put a killswitch on it. Just really hate the line design and dig the raw wood look. I may just sand it down in the future honestly. I'm really weighing a lot what you said about this in the video... but idk... you only live once.. Loved the review brother!

Schecter and Syn have made one of the best production guitars of the last almost 20yrs. They've been my go to guitar for the last 2 yrs. Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
Agree not feeling the new syn guitar
It's his same guitar, with the same features, with a horrible paint job. And it's $600 higher than his stripped custom S 😅 these should have been priced $1k -$1199.99, not $2k. The new production model should've been the bone burst. I could see people paying 2k for that one, even tho, that'd still be $600 over his base model
