Patio Cover for Hot Tub (Should I Cover?)

- I get this question all the time. Should I put my hot tub under a Patio Cover? Or Should I build a roofed cover for my hot tub?
This video goes into why I would caution against putting your hot tub under a cover.
One of the main reasons I would think twice before putting a hot tub under a covered patio is because I love to sit in my hot tub at night and loot up at the stars. I love those cold clear nights and checking out the night sky. You hot tub also serves as another destination so why would you put your hot tub under a structure that usually serves as a primary destination?
