Fun Fact: Don Creech who played Stryker`s father used to be one of the puppeteers for the Muppets. Another fun fact: A different Sebastian Shaw cameoed in the bar in X2 debating Steve Bacic as Beast in human form on mutant rights.
Azazel, Nightcrawler`s father. To be fair, Azazel and Mephisto are both named after demons who are sometimes considered other names for The Devil in Jewish and German mythology respectively.
This is a really great movie- one of my all-time favorites in super hero movie history, just for the relationship between Professor X and Magneto alone. Whether they're young or old, I just can't get enough of those guys. HOWEVER........ Everyone who was even remotely familiar with the other characters before watching this film was pretty damn annoyed with how the killed off Darwin in this movie, given how extremely overpowered his mutant ability actually is. Kevin Bacon says "Adapt to this" and at that moment Darwin reeeeally SHOULD have. His powers allow him to adapt to LITERALLY ANYTHING, no matter what ridiculous power needs to change within himself in order to make that happen. Not even the Goddess of Death herself can kill Darwin. I hate to say it, but this was just another sad example of this movie franchise pushing all of their most powerful mutants of color aside, and it's sad, but at this point I've gotten used to it. I don't have a lot of hope for the MCU to handle these characters better, but if they can prove me wrong, I'd be happy.... Anyway, if you want a really funny breakdown of exactly how ridiculous Darwin's death scene was in this movie, you should search RUclips for a video called "That Time Fox Killed Off Marvel's Unkillable Mutant (Adapting to Survive)". It is a humorous explanation of exactly how sick Darwin was SUPPOSED to be.
Lmaooo, I will have to check that out soon. You know, I didn't even realize that about Darwin's death. I didn't know much about the character so I just thought Kevin Bacon was just too damn powerful, but with a superpower that is able to adapt to every death scenario, you would expect him to survive LITERALLY everything lmaooo.
it was the acting for me that did it for me love it
