- Cici Muldoon has led an interesting life already. Growing up in Mexico, she was on track to become a dancer before she moved to the United States to study physics at Princeton. A phD then brought her to Oxford, and after a bout in Switzerland following grad school, she has settled (for the moment) in the English countryside. The Cotswolds offer quintessential British B-road driving, and Cici’s Triumph TR3 fits into the area almost too perfectly. Her Ferrari Dino and its unique color scheme stand out a little more.
She’s named the 246 GTS “Viola,” but affectionately refers to her as a bit of a pimpmobile too. After all, it is a mid-engine Italian sports car with purple paintwork and a removable roof. It seems like a perfect weekender, but in the two years that she’s owned this Dino, Cici has come around to the idea that it doesn’t need utter pampering, and she doesn’t mind clipping the occasional puddle if the driving mood happens to strike on a rainy Tuesday.

Always Drive Tastefully®
Incredibly pleasing to see a Dino driven through a muddy puddle. This does not often happen.
Because they rust badly, not a smart move.
She is a true car person. You can hear it in the way she talks about it & in that smile when she talks about it. Not many people out there can understand the feeling of driving a nice car or just driving a car in general, unless you are a petrol head. I wish I came from a family that appreciates cars as she does. Great story.
Great to see a woman with a car like that. Goosebumps feeling her love for Viola and knowing she’ll be driving it the rest of her life. Enzo would be proud
"they're meant to be driven- cars are meant to be driven". no matter what you own, you never truly appreciate it till you are comfortable using it for its purpose. to drive
"wall hangers" are for collectors, not people who truly love the thing. Nothing will last forever. Better to wear in the purpose it was meant for. Say what you will about Leno, but he drives almost all his cars and isn't afraid to commit to serious restoration.
Amen
That’s not always true. Some car are too valuable to drive occasionally on the street.
@@dantew2942 That's bullshit. The Mona Lisa is not too valuable for people to look at. It the intended purpose. The intended purpose of a car is to be driven. And if it is just locked away it loses it's purpose. Btw. a car that is not driven deteriorates, hence loses value too. Anyone who locks away a 250 GTO or an original GT40 should be punched in the face by the creators of the car.
@@Perry_dAccard That's why I love this video: ruclips.net/video/KHgD0wJGcR0/видео.html& You have probably seen it already but this is how classic sportscars should be driven.
There aren’t many people that can out shine a Ferrari, this woman is one of them.
That look at 0:51seconds with her hair flowing out the window and the exhaust note trumpeting away .... YES!!!! 🤩😜
Anything.......literally ANYTHING......can outshine every turd Enzo and his joke company have shat out from their anuses for the last seven decades.
@@michaelmeliambro5117 wow, okay then. lol
@@michaelmeliambro5117 do...do you need to talk?
@@onemoreroll Do YOU?????
Lethal combination of Brains , Beauty and great taste in cars
That and inherited wealth . ;)
@@horsterer77 The thing that probably shaped her most is, as she told, that her dad was always very careful with his cars and that she saw them as untouchable. She was raised well, learning that she can't use expensive stuff that isn't her's. This video is very inspirational imo.
@@horsterer77 "our Ferrari's" plural
Well, @horsterer77 @Karl K, at least I put my inheritance to good use. I used it to get a PhD level education (which incidentally, money alone cannot buy) and with that started a high-tech company that employs people, improves an industry and helps further science and technology in the UK. You can’t help where you are born, but you can definitely do something with what you are given. 😉
As a package....drop dead gorgeous !!!
If anyone was deserving to be the owner of this car it’s this lady. Lovely video
What a lovely story from Cici and Petrolicious !
The Dino is amongst the greatest classic Ferraris out there and this perticular example is an absolute gem 👌🏽
Great to see it's even being driven in wet weather - Brillant !
The physicist is just incredible from her thinking to her appreciation of such a beautiful automobile, the fact that she is unafraid to go straight through a mud puddle is a testament to the proper collector’ s mindset “you drive it, it gets dirty you wash it, it’s metal you ding it you repair it” outstanding mantra ! She is my hero (heroine?)....whatever the description she is a gear head first and foremost!
This is it boys. Pack it in. You've reached the final video on RUclips. It will never be better than this.
What a beautiful and touching video, thank God for these people...
Just when I thought I've seen it all.. Fantastic.
This is proof that the perfect woman does exist 🙌.
Lock it up simp
Who needs a proof?
The owner is as classy as the car!
..and got a PhD in Physics at Princeton... wow!
Absolutly, that's the first thing that came to my mind.
@@rolandalfonso6954 not at Princeton... Didn't listen.
Thank you for the kind comments! 🙂 I have a PhD in Atomic and Laser Physics from the University of Oxford, and an undergraduate degree in physics from Princeton University. I still do physics, but I’ve moved from quantum computing to wine: www.verivin.com. 😉
Cici Muldoon marry me
There is no reason to mention the car or driver as anyone can see how perfect they are, but I would once again like to compliment the Petrolicious team for another perfect video.
I love the fact that she is not afraid to get it out and drive it! Amazing cars are so often owned by the wrong people...not the case here.
You can see her passion. Intelligent and beautiful. who could ask for more? :)
Beautiful Dino and pretty statement of love of his driver 👍🏻
One of my fav cars, beautiful color, charming owner, autumnal scenery..what else ? A kind of daydream...
What an AMAZING Woman, She truly loves cars and how they function. The compassion flows from her voice as she talks.
This beautiful car couldn't be in better hands.
I like how this lady addresses her car as "she", not "it".
Beauty, Brains, and Balance; owner, auto, and video. Kudos to all.
I love the Dino. Please do a video about the Aston in her garage as well.
Please !!!
Very nice video. She talks about her cars with passion and emotion.
I remember this car from my childhood. Cant be many that colour. Lived in the street down from mine in Surrey. Thats going back to the 80/90s
Amazing! Wonderful to see someone speak so passionately about a beautiful car.
We all have our favourites for whatever reasons, but for me this is one of the most desirable Ferrari's ever built. Thank you lady for sharing something so special. You complement each other beautifully ❤
That'll be me driving around the Cotswolds until I meet Cici. My soul mate!
As with the Jaguar XKE, the Ferrari Dino is automotive design, perfection!
Jealousy, is to strong a word, so I will say that I am both envious and happy that you are the owner of such a machine.
A gracious gentleman I knew back in 1972 gave me a ride in his and I have been in love with the car since. Also, I am grateful for his generosity!
You are as lovely and graceful as your car!
Thank you for sharing!
Petrolicious at its best. Car, driver, story, filming, sound. Hats off!
Stunning... and the car looks great too!
Absolutely gorgeous car. In 1974 I was driving a Lotus Elan Sprint, and aspired to owning a Dino, however marriage and houses intervened. In my view the prettiest Ferrari ever made.
The most interesting woman in the world. She should be the new face of Dos Equis
You mean she and the bearded dude making commercials together ...on the boat in one shot..into the car in another...
Hahahahahahah
Current ads are not very interesting. Cici would be interesting. (Is she Mexican or from Mexico?)
She’s Mexican too
That's funny, but also a great idea.
Ive loved this car for as long as i can remember this lady has great taste and that colour is beautiful.
Beautiful classy Lady and a beautiful classy car !!
What a beatiful car, what a gorgeous Lady who has a fabulous lifestyle! Thanks for sharing her story.
Thank you for DRIVING it. Fantastic color combination as well.
What a Beauty it shows when a car is as Gorgeous as the Dino they look great in every colour like this FANTASTIC purple !!!.
Lovely documentary. She clearly loves this car but doesn't put it on a pedestal.
It's amazing to see because it's also my favorite Ferrari for pretty much all the reasons she laid out. It's one of the most gorgeous shapes I've ever seen and its history is hard to forget.
Your father did a great job. You are so nice and smart! He's proud.
This dripped of elegance and was superbe! Bravo.
As was the car!!!
In 1974 at 24 i was living in Naples, Italy. I owned a '67 Dino. It had the sound of a turbo Jet!
Outstanding documentary! This young lady is truly enjoying her Ferrari. I love that she’s educated with the the history of the Dino. Thank you for sharing such a well put video! I’m glad you are enjoying such a beautiful piece of Ferrari history!
Being an American, and British and European vintage car restorer for over 20 yrs.
It's great to see this women come to the true realization of her father's passion, of automobiles.
To say her Dino is a step above her TR3.....well I smiled.
I drive Datsun Z S30's for that same reason. I've owned bug-eye sprites, classic mini's, lotus europa's, Big Healeys " 100-4 , and 3000 roadster's
My Datsun Z's are, a step above the old British Iron..
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and when I'm the beholder, there's no car so beautiful as the Dino
Agreed! I've always loved the 74 dino. Take her for a spin for me.
This is what you get from being born in the right family. Good for her.
When you look at a Dino you can just see how the lines and overall style of it heavily influenced the later designs of the Ferrari 308/328 and the 288 GTO.
And the 360 Modena!
this is a magical video.
Beautiful ride!
Cool. I do love the roads in the Cotswolds and puts a big smile on my face when I see a classic car - often see one or two in the summer. I’ll slow down and follow them for a bit, just for the smell and sound.
paisana de verdad que pinche y mas grande orgullo ver a un paisa amante de los autos, MUJER, y en este canal tan bello de verdad wow!!! muchisimas felicidades!!!!
The wonderful realization, "so complex and so interesting". Indeed they are.
Bravo Petrolicious. One of the best videos you've done, full stop. Interesting, knowledgeable but, most of all, passionate owner. You can really see how in love with the car she is, and we all know that feeling. Great videography. A joy, thanks
Jesus what an incredible woman. Beautiful, smart AND a gear-head.
And, she names here cars! Love it!
Home Run🏃🏽 Love this Episode
You are a very lucky lady! What a special car to have!
Everything about this media has class. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏼
Well doesn't she just shatter a few perceptions! Very cool.
Outstanding car, and an owner not afraid to drive it... *two thumbs up*
Georgeous car, but this woman is something else....wow. She's a star, love her style, and grace.
Lovely how she is so fond of her cars and motorsport, and this Dino particularly. And I should agree on the beauty of that viola over the caramel interior, looks so tasteful and nice way to steer out of the red Ferrari standard.
The color of that Dino is beyond amazing.
The 246 Dino has such an elegant design, yet it surprises you with it's performance. While not up to today's standards, it was impressive for its time. These beautiful classics look like jewels, and that color looks amazing on that car.
Both car and driver are just Sub-Zero cool. Love it.
Thanks to this video I have 8 new wallpapers. Magnificent production, as always.
Wow! Viola..Wow..Cici.. don't know which i like more! 🤔.
Great video!
Superb video, one of your best.
What a fantastic story and stunning car!
I love the fact she truly drive the car like Ferrari meant it to be. They are not meant to be put on a shelf the rest of their life
Stylish. Thanks for the great video. Life is for living in the moment.
It was an honour seeing and filming this car at the 2020 London Concours! With its colour it really stand out.
I think I'm love and despite being a huge Dino fan it's not about the car. What a fine classy lady!
That Dino is really being driven tastefully by her owner. Beautiful car and very interesting and virtuous lady
Keep up the fantastic work on these videos, amazing quality production bringing the passion of driving to life! My Chrysler minivan doesn't give me goosebumps when I think about driving it... I better get a Dino!
I love watching that Dino go through the mud puddles.
Gated manuals just are so damn nice, like nothing about it is overly special but it’s just so overly special
An absolutely beautiful piece of rolling art. Hope owner will keep her Dino until eternity. The perfect match made just outside of Heaven. Makes me feel like it’s time to take my Dino out for a run.
Wow! Saludos desde México... Ceci, mis respetos totales.
Sweet. Thank you for sharing this. "(...) they're meant to be driven- cars are meant to be driven" - Exactly! I always wonder about my fellow Porsche drives who are locking away their cars in winter. To drive a sports car in winter - in snowy conditions - is very rewarding, be it a Ferrari, a Porsche or something else. You just have to know what you are doing and you have to have proper winter tyres, not some compromising all-weather-ones.
The garage, the cars, the honey!
Agree with her last comment. The Dino is a special car.
As a British native I can see by the huge puddles and rain that this was filmed mid-summer!,it's the winter salt that really kills them, don't!!,beautiful Ferrari but arn't all Ferrari's?👍✌
It was filmed in late October.
Yes, please drive them. I’m sure neither Enzo, Zora (Duntov) or Ferruccio said, “I can’t wait for someone to buy my car and park in the garage!” Beautiful car, glad you drive it!
she looks like the character of Lara Croft or female Bruce wayne, a little bit mystery, a little bit classy
Ms. Moldoon, you are one amazing person. This beautiful video and the passion you show for your bella macchina makes me want to take my Fulvia for a drive right now... And its night, raining and freezing. If only the engine of my diva wasn't feeling so well. Sigh!
From the time they were launched and I first saw one, I thought the Dino had perfection in style. Perfect lines, where the proportions and cuves are there only for beauty, not to impress. They came in a size and with engineering that was meant to be fun, in a way that over-engineered cars never will be.
The boy racer's car with a touch more finesse than most, as boys know how to have fun.
That collection 👌👌
Love your Spanish British accent. Beautiful car!!!!
Truly fantastic video, bravo 👏🏻
A gear heads dream wife LOL. BUT that Dino chassis always deserved one of Enzo’s V8’s in my opinion. Stunning nonetheless.
So beautiful spec!
Now, that's what I call class.
I love Dinos. Best looking Ferrari's IMO.
This spec is bananas! Super classy
It truly is a beautiful machine
A beautiful woman in a Dino , a perfect combination.
From Guadalajara Mexico? Wow! Didn’t catch her accent!
Viva Mexico!
Mamacita!
Two classy and elegant ladies!
