Aw, thank you so much, that is so kind of you. We are so blessed and loving our new home back east near family! Our little boy is almost 18 months now and getting into all kinds of trouble with his partner in crime, our dog Jack. Keeps me from doing quite as much jewelry design and filming as I'd like, but so worth it!

I’ve been making some drop shaped pendants. I’m doing a figure 8 weave. My weaving wire is 24 gauge. The pendant is wide at the bottom and gets more narrow the closer it gets to the top. Weaving wire between two parallel base wires is super fast and easy. Also when the base wire distance gets larger, it’s very easy. The problem is this pendant is woven entirely between base wires that get closer and closer together so the weave is constantly sliding down and it’s taking me forever to make them because I really want the weave to be perfect with no spaces between any of the coils. I can’t weave it in the other direction because it’s not open so I would have to cut it off the spool and constantly be feeding it into that space which would also take a really long time. I’ve been searching RUclips to find somebody who can demonstrate their own technique for how to keep the weaving wire down/prevent it from slipping up. I do realize this would be a lot easier if I was using thinner gauge weaving wire, but the 24 gauge in this design looks and feels the way I want it to. I’ve gone through all your videos that contain projects in which the base wires get closer together. Unfortunately, in all of them, you only show the first part where the base wires are getting further apart and then you just skip ahead and don’t show your weaving process when the base wires get closer together. This really is the hardest part of any wire weaving project. I’m not a beginner, so I imagined that for a lot of people following your videos they are having a difficult time on this part of the weaving. Other than that I think your videos are really great. The narration is really clear and you have a nice voice. And I can see what you’re doing perfectly, plus your designs are beautiful. It’s just that part when weaving between base wires that get closer together. I think it would be helpful probably for all of your viewers if you did a video just on that. Thanks so much for reading and I appreciate your content.

great piece. I made this with a Faceted Prasiolite Crystal, 10x15mm using 7 inches of wire. 1 19g round and 2 19g square. Small heart I used the round and larger one I twisted the square to make that one. Came out nice but I don't see where I can add a photo of it to show you.
