    such good deal in my opinion for a cr250. jeez here in cali just getting one that kinda runs is difficult to get for less than a 1000. but im specifically looking for the last generation of the cr's basically the same body style as this one.
    I miss riding 2 strokes.

    I didn't think you could submerge the coil like that. Makes cleaning it easy now. I noticed the gasket you pulled off between the boot and the reed body. My '01 cr250 doesn't have one of those. It seems like one should be there but the explosion doesn't show one either.

    I had this exact same issue. Tried to remove it myself and got a hardened “easy-out” reverse drill bit stuck in the bolt. Ended up taking it to a shop where the machinist cut out the alluminum surrounding the bolt and replaced it, then drilled and tapped a new hole for me. I think i paid $200. Saved me so much hassle

    • @codenamenel
      @codenamenel 6 лет назад +2

      its the insides of the brake master and slave cylinders, there are little rubber seals inside, around a piston that moves with the pressure of the brake fluid or you applying pressure to the lever, the rubber seals swell and degrade with exposure to petroleum based products, such as degreaser, ruining your brakes
