Ive never commented on videos in the past. But after finding your channel and seeing your work felt COMPELLED to comment. You sir are not just a builder/mechanic you have brought art into your builds. Simply amazing! The Michelangelo of motocross ☺
I dont understand how people can dislike any of your videos?! I love the detail you show in your videos on cleaning and maintaining bikes. Keep up the great work man! I look forward to when you post new videos!!!
I am totally surprised at the high quality and level of sophistication on these Honda dirt bikes compared to the road bikes that I'm used to. The finish that you are adding Cameron, is going to make this bike look superb.
Beautifully done, You look like a surgeon doing that. I'm debating on doing my 07 crf450r fork seals or having them done. I have not done seals in many years.
While I don't 100% agree with your method of refilling the shock, I really like your attention to detail with the work you've done on the bike. So, I gave a thumbs up for that. Also, I think the color of the shock body looks really good. I know you were thinking it would come out a little lighter, but personally, I like the look. Also, thanks for turning me on to the Cerakote product. I hadn't heard of that before watching your video. Have you ever tried that product on engine cases?
If you tap/chisel a small groove /raised edge on the snap ring .It will give you an edge to pry against. You have helped me alot with your vids its least I can do.
+Cameron Niemela What did the inside of your shock body look like? Mine the piston has rubbed off the interior coating, would I need to replace the shock body?
I love the red colour of the springs, what coulour are you gonna be doing the plastics on this build? this video gets an instant like from me and i wait in anticipation for the next video, keep em coming mate.
Amazing!! Your work is art. Honda should give you a 2018 Honda 450 for you to customize and if any other aftermarkets companys were savy enough they should also support your work. They would benefit. Your channel is still growing so keep it up. You make it look easy but i'm sure it's hard work filming, editing, ordering parts etc. Could prob do an outtake video at the end to show us how their were some struggles haha.
Top notch work man, loved every episode so far. Would you ever do cerakoting as a service? This looks awesome and makes the parts really pop. I want my bike to look cleaner but dont really have the time or means to this type of detail
looking the rear ammo stripped down my question is: is only that small clip that hold together the rear shock when fully extended like in a jump? or is there a "downstop" on the main frame & rear suspension linkage doing that work? nice vids, keep doing that nice job
Thanks for watching! Yes, the circlip does hold the shock shaft from coming out of the body. The linkage does limit it somewhat but it's mostly the clip.
Hi Cameron, I have a question, I need to change JUST the shock bladder, can I do this without actually pulling the main part of the shock apart. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
@@CameronNiemela thanks for the quick reply, I'm gonna be trying cerakote on a few bits n Bob's on my bike and ur videos are invaluable, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR EFFORT.
what you can do when you install new wire clips is grind an angle on the ends so that in future you have space behind the clip end and the shock to get something in much easier
hi Cameron I have my cr 250 2003 with a rear shock that im thinking of servicing.Although i found out that the 2008 CRF has the exact same fit so i was wondering to swap it to my CR since i belive its more advanced tech wise. Waht do you think ? I appreciate your opinion Joao
Damn it, I wanna see that bike hella bad. How much could you possibly be doing to that bike? Cerakote/powder coate the brake pedal and shifter, and foot pegs with one of the schemes you got going.
Time for engine assembly or what??
Cameron Niemela OHH YEEES
Nice work mate, grettings from Italy 😉
Cameron Niemela Once shock is installed on top of frame with new bearing should there be any play moving side to side when bolted in tight??
Oh yeah!!
No it should be tight side to side
Your attention to detail is amazing. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Thanks!

Beautifully done, You look like a surgeon doing that. I'm debating on doing my 07 crf450r fork seals or having them done. I have not done seals in many years.
Wow! Great video! Great job. One of the great tech mysteries de-mystified for me. The end result looks like a factory part.

Is mandatory used the sand blaster for clean ?
When you get the bike together can you do a suspension setup video? It would extremely helpful. Keep up the good vids dude!
Thanks for watching! Great idea
I absolutely enjoy watching your videos.
awesome video! do you clean the parts after sandblasting?
While I don't 100% agree with your method of refilling the shock, I really like your attention to detail with the work you've done on the bike. So, I gave a thumbs up for that. how many ml of oil do you get in this suspension, or just fill up like you stuffed it in the video?
thank you!!
Shock looks great!
The body for the shock will be so pretty
If you tap/chisel a small groove /raised edge on the snap ring .It will give you an edge to pry against. You have helped me alot with your vids its least I can do.
Beautiful and perfection.
Thanks!
Question for you I have now got a 90 litre sandblaster cabinet what size compressor would you recommend? Thanks Helen
Absolutely killed it on this shock bro
I appreciate that bro!
Woohoo another video!!! Love the series and all your videos my dude!
I appreciate that man!
So AMAZING! Nice work Cameron👌🏻
Thanks Thomas!
When the shock compresses a lot won’t it crack the powder coat?
This the most satisfying channel on RUclips, no contest
Keep it up bro
This bike is going to look insane i can not wait!!!
Sure hope so!

Thanks! I'll most likely do OEM colors
how long would you say this project taken so far?
great video but I was wondering what is so special about cerakote compared to normal paint
Amazing!! Your work is art. Honda should give you a 2018 Honda 450 for you to customize and if any other aftermarkets companys were savy enough they should also support your work. They would benefit. Thanks! Yeah, I'd love to do that for sure but I really enjoy fixing up busted bikes and bringing them back from the dead haha
I can respect that for sure. Glad there's content like this one youtube. Thanks for reply
Top notch work man, loved every episode so far. Would you ever do cerakoting as a service? This looks awesome and makes the parts really pop. I want my bike to look cleaner but dont really have the time or means to this type of detail
Thanks Adam! I appreciate you watching the videos. Unfortunately, I don't offer any type of services

Cameron Niemela no problem brotha👍

Yes, you can replace the bladder without taking the shaft out
@@CameronNiemela thanks for the quick reply, I'm gonna be trying cerakote on a few bits n Bob's on my bike and ur videos are invaluable, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR EFFORT.

If you're ever in aus hit me up I have spare bike and guest bed etc
Did you ceramic coat all the raw aluminum.
i love u vids i have been working on bikes for 40 years and u taught me some stuff
Keep doing these ceracoat videos, so satisfying to watch:)
check out hsl hole shot linkage because they make an interesting rear holeshot device aswell as tx race for plastics if you want an af look.
Hi Cameron, why do you soak the parts in acetone while they have already been degreased? thank you
That's the process recommended by the Cerakote manufacturer *:)*
matias lorenzo it’s just making sure that there is *NO* grease or grime is left on the parts. Cerakote is really sensitive to any grease
Amazing once again! Can’t wait for the motor!
Thanks for watching!
what you can do when you install new wire clips is grind an angle on the ends so that in future you have space behind the clip end and the shock to get something in much easier

Men u r pro!stay humble 🤗 i learned a lot from you.. and ur amazing men..
can you paint the bumpstop, because the yellow is a real eyesore atleast for me it is
Damn it, I wanna see that bike hella bad. How much could you possibly be doing to that bike? Cerakote/powder coate the brake pedal and shifter, and foot pegs with one of the schemes you got going.
This is going to be the last of the cerakoting besides the engine stuff
Not sure about this but the way you filled the shock with oil...... Wouldn't that leave lots of air inside the rear shock?
I bled the shock just like shown in the previous shock rebuild video, just didn't show it in this one.
