Dude, you are so meticulous. It is really refreshing to see someone be so detailed and content in every process. I am a bit impatient when it comes to those tedious tasks. You've inspired me to be a little more calm and enjoy the process more, because I'm certain the result of your build will shine. I also appreciate you taking the time to teach. Keep it up! Thanks.
Gday Cameron....Greetings from down under and a very merry christmas to u and urs....have just recently watched your "Wheel Spokes and Truing videos, which led me to various others, Just wanna give a public shout out and alot of respect where its due dude, Such refreshing viewing for a change, i do alot of tinkering around with chinese pitbikes and ATC 70s and also have a couple of vintage suzuki FR80- suzuki F50 Mopeds....i watch alot of you tube man ..daily....and i can honestly say, without hesitation ...This is Excellent viewing, extremely well edited content, "NO BORING BITS"...NO LIFE STORYS"....Just straight to the point clear, well lit camera work. nice bright white" backgrounds .....Loves it!!! ...Onya Cameron. Well done champ!.... Do some more pitbike vidz....perhaps u could show the different sorts of bottom ends that were made in china....."Everyone is so quick to say that all chinese pit bikes are the same....."There not. some are geared up, some down...some semi auto, some full auto.. some have electric start, some have kick, some have both...some can even except selected Honda Pull starters eg: ATC 70. Keep up the good work. Craig .
MAN your work is amazing! seeing what you do with these older bikes that people disregard as junk is awesome, saw so many comments that you should have dumped the CR but looking at it now, damn its gonna look sweet!
It's pretty clever instead of your cleaner going down the drain after you spray a little bit on the part you get to keep a giant tub of it. it might be a little dirty but I'm sure it's worth it
Hey Cameron, my name is Matt, Merry X-mas and happy holidays to you and your family! I am hopeful that you see this comment, Ive been following you and your videos for quite a while and gotta say you have my favorite dirt bike oriented channel on youtube by far. Ive wanted a dirt bike my whole life but that didnt work out until just recently, Im now 24! I brought home an 87' yz125. Most of the maintenence and cleaning im going to preform on it was all taught to me by watching your channel. I am waiting on the manual to come in the mail currently. Was wondering though, I got the bike for 200 bucks, an amazing deal, but it has a seized crankshaft. The piston is decent, cylinder is fine, all I really gotta do is fix that crank and attach a rear tire shock mud guard. ANYWAYS, to get to the point, I am looking for a bit of help, and I dont have many real friends that know about this stuff, so I was wondering if you would be able to help me a bit. What I really need, is to know how to recognize when the Main Crank Bearing needs replaced, when a full crank rebuild is necessary, and when to go aheas and buy a whole new kit. I really appreciate you doing what you do to help people know how to take care of their bikes properly and gotta say, you have a huge impact on the community whether you realize it or not! Thanks Cameron, hope to hear back from you!! Matt mattbrown0422@yahoo.com
Hey Man, I just finished the rebuild of my cr125. It was the same issue, a seized crank and I`m here to tell you that it will be a lot easier and safer for your engine with a new crank kit. They come with all the gaskets you`ll need and then some, the bearings and of course a new crank that is machined to higher standards than the old oem one you might have/find. It's not worth it trying to find someone who know's about crank rebuilds and sourcing the parts when a whole one is so readily available. And since you're down there anyways, you might as well change the main bearing's. They're tough but it's one less thing to worry about if you're planning on keeping the bike for a while yet. As for the rest of your rebuild you'll find somewhere along the way that there are missing things and you'll have to buy them, machine them. Check and clean everything like this guy, you'll find some nice surprises left by the the last guy. It might save you when you're out on the trail. If you have any questions at all you and give me a shout and I'll probably have an idea about it. If not, Cameron can probably help ya.
Iain Myatt hey Ian, thanks a lot for the help, youve got me convinced to get a fresh one in there. Ive heard great things bout the OEM and wiseco crank setups, where would you recommend I get one from? Also, if you have a second, ive got a crappy video on my page of the seized crank so you can get a look at it. Thanks again man! And also, I would definitely like to change the bearing while im at it, do they come with the kit?
I second what Iain Myatt recommended. Replace the bearings, crank, seals and gaskets while you have it apart. You can spec everything but for peace of mind just replace the crank with either OEM or Wiseco/ Hot Rods. Both are good quality. Thanks for watching the videos Matt! Much appreciated.
Very crafty video that I've seen so far for an off road bike. By the way, can you guide me for where to buy top and bottom end rebuild hard ware for crm250 mk1?
Just found your channel & have been enjoying your content thanks ! Completely amazed at how well the parts come up with some simple cleaning ! Awesome work...
Wot I find frustrating is wen I strip down a bike. I find it difficult to put it back together. That fucking pissis me off. I forget how to put the parts back together. I wish I could go on a motorcross course that learnt me how to strip down bikes and put them back together.
You have to split the cases the guy before you probably put the shift forks in wrong, happens more than you think with older bike not to say you don't have to replace any thing tranny related but you should be able to just reassemble it, just before you join the cases again make sure you can go through all the gears. Should be nice👍🏼
Hi dear, you are doing a great job, congratulate,i have a question about my yz450f,when is cold weather ia cant start engine,is lroblem with spark plugs, ore something else
Hi sir... Actually my bike got an issue that when we ride at nearly constant speed I feel that bike is suddenly missed as like sparking is missing but at same time bike start and run ..and this happens again and again after 10-15 minute of interval of time...
Just one question , how long did it take you to get that good at stripping bikes back and putting all together ? totally amazing . Are you a mechanic? I am starting to get into dirt bikes and hopefully have one next couple of months . Would love to do what you do . Any help for beginners regarding maintenance on bikes . I’m really wanting kx 250 2 stroke .
Ok I have a Suzuki 80 Jr and at idle there is a rattle coming from the cylinder and also has a wining sound when I give it a lil throttle in first. Does anyone know why it is making those noises

This video reminds me of when I built my 97 yz ... So much spraying, soaking, scrubbing, but in the end it's all worth it when it's put together
Good stuff, great patience, love the remove, clean/repair, reinstall approach. Great filming.

Thanks for the kind words Chris!
I thought I'd just watch bits and pieces, but for some reason ended up sitting through every second of it. Was almost therapeutic! Subscribed.
This will definitely be a great video series to watch when I rebuild my CR250 this winter 👌🏻
I'm seriously amazed by how clean everything came out. They look so good.

You do a great job of bringing parts back to life!
Whats your mixture in that tank and ratio for each approx?
Big fan

It's pretty clever instead of your cleaner going down the drain after you spray a little bit on the part you get to keep a giant tub of it. it might be a little dirty but I'm sure it's worth it
whenever I see your videos I find new tricks, your clean and high level jobs and I am mechanical and implemented some of your work 👍
I wish i could fix motors like u...i play around with them here and there, but u make it look easy...well done

Merry Christmas to you and your family Cameron.
your vids are perfect length keep up the good work your content is amazing
Im using Eric gor for my cylinder replate. He only charges $180 and does power valves adjustment included Its slow tho. Turn around is 3 weeks
You should get a Eastwood media tumbler to do the final cleaning on small parts.
How did you manage to grow your business? What ways did you use to let people find you?
And Merry Christmas of course.
Hey Cameron will you be doing a full engine rebuild video? that would be cool to see.
Where do you dispose of the degreaser mixture after you drain the parts washer?
Happy Holidays Cameron and keep charging buddy.

Just found your channel & have been enjoying your content thanks !
Completely amazed at how well the parts come up with some simple cleaning ! Awesome work...
What kind of grease are you using for the link bearings/kickstarter etc? Cheers and keep up the good work! Love your videos.
Thanks man! I'm using Maxima grease
I recommend using sonic cleaner when cleaning
Look at your shift shaft on the right side I had the same problem as you
You have a bent shift fork, or if the internals are rusted, like that crank, then your shift drum is probably frozen. Good luck.
Wot I find frustrating is wen I strip down a bike. I find it difficult to put it back together. That fucking pissis me off. I forget how to put the parts back together. I wish I could go on a motorcross course that learnt me how to strip down bikes and put them back together.
What liquid in the soak tank? It’s just soap and water or something else?
What kind of solution do you use for cleaning your parts ?
Cameron, have a great Christmas. She's looking great! Top notch, can't wait to see the diagnostic on her."
Later Brother

Regards from an old Limey b.
Another good video mate good work I would love to strip and restore bikes for a living just don’t no where to start
Try rotating the crank while trying to shift. Maybe it’s just the position of the gears.
Man!, what`s inside that magical soak tank? haha... Merry Christmas!
The people near by you are so lucky 😁
Have a great Xmas everyone, all our pressies opened here in AUS. :-)
Do you have a video where you rebuild a front brake master cylinder?

There were no reed petals on it.
m1ke2001 oh wasn't paying that much attention
With what detergent do you wash aluminum?
You have to split the cases the guy before you probably put the shift forks in wrong, happens more than you think with older bike not to say you don't have to replace any thing tranny related but you should be able to just reassemble it, just before you join the cases again make sure you can go through all the gears.
