M.R John Deere 04 ohh yeah Honda's are indestructible!!! Especially 2004 crf450r!! Mate I rode that bitch to hell and back and back again for 4years on 2 oil changes and 1 new set of clutch plates that i discovered it didn't really need... Was popping and a bitch to start in the end but once it was going it still went hard even though the valves where probably sealed shut
Hey cam I’ll make sure to tell all my friends at the track tomorrow about ur shirts I’m buying one today cause with out u how would I know how to put anything together!
to get the zylinderhead nearly perfect flat....place sandpaper (400-600grid) on a mirror and place the zylinder upside down on it...move the zylinder in a circle on the paper without pressing on it...rotate the zylinder in your hand every couple of turns.. @cameron...you are awsome..nice video again...stay strong and best whishes from germany
I know you probably heard this a lot. But what you're going through with your Leukemia treatment. Still making videos you really are a true inspiration. You really are camstrong!.
thanks for another great video man, hope you are doing better. I'm about to start my 92 rm250 project, ive taken a lot of notes from all your great advice about cleaning and such. can't wait to see the final result of your CR.
Stay strong! I do have a tip use glass or granite slab with your sand paper on it for gasket surfaces it's a for sure method to "deck" a surface. Good luck to you and keep up the vids.
Keep fighting! Wish you lots of strength and really cool you keep on doing the vids man, even if you're pretty knakkered by the leukemia and treatment. Takes courage to show yourself in this state. My respect to you!
Can we not Grow Cams channel for him more? Amazing personality, unbelievable story, huge heart, unmatched skill and knowledge for Niche MX fixes and mods. This Channel should be a monster!
Hey Cameron, thanks for the super super fast delivery of my scotch bryte discs all the way to here in New Zealand. Cant wait to get cracking on some serious polishing on my custom klx300.
I just got a big bore block for my CB250. The lower part of the barrel that protrudes out underneath the block was honed so thin, it cracked while trying to fit my pistons/rings. I was left no other option but to sheer off the rest of the cracked skirts and re-burnish the surface. Made fitting the pistons that much harder, but I did manage to get it all back on. I really dont see there being much issue as the pistons do not travel past the bottom of the block, but no one can really give me a straight answer if I will or wont. Motor is going back on frame tomorrow, just gonna give it a start and see if it grenades or pisses oil out of some unknown crevace. Fingers crossed
Had a idea for you mate while I was in hospital having spinal surgery, was thinking about certain repairs that I'm unable to do as I don't have specific tools and I'll be out of work for a while so can't go spending 100s on specialty tools that I may only use once or twice... I had a friend who passed away recently who was a car mechanic and always had some special trick to get the job done... Maybe you can do a vid on backyard fixes/ Bush mechanic repair to get some jobs done without buying a specific tools but still getting it done... You don't have to just an idea for ya mate Hope your everything is good mate and your content is still number1 on RUclips along with Travis Pastrana and Nitro Circus... Positive thoughts
I just used powerseal usa as well. Waiting for my cylinder to come home. I had used another company in the past and it wasn't a good experience. Thanks for the great videos
Been watching some of your excellent videos lately. Shocked and surprised to hear about your fight with leukaemia. You are young and strong, you'll not let it win. A very good friend of mine was diagnosed 2 years ago with the same. He is fully back up to where he was before! I can hope the same for you Cam.
I was so excited to see these new videos pop up on my subscriptions! Glad to see you up again. Will be taking a look at the web sight. School year starts soon and my boys would love some of your gear.
Sorry to hear the news God speed buddy.. I really enjoy your videos you are very particular in your builds im the same way so I appreciate that.. Im making a nice 87 rm 125 right now so been learning from your vids I have never worked on engines before so very helpful !! Thanks for making it easier..
I think its bad ass that youre letting your subscribers help decide the direction of the build. super cool. I hope youre feeling better. oh, I picked up a Yamaha Tri-Z 250 today :)
Wish you wouldve showed how ypu remove your power valve. I cant get mine out of the cylinder to clean it when i do a top end job. I have an 03 cr250 as well. Love all your vids. Sorry to hear about the cancer
Something sweet I use to clean up gasket surface is I had a piece of plate glass cut and I attach any grit sandpaper you want to use either that has an adhesive back or use painters tape in the corners works super good and being tempered plate glass you know is perfectly flat
Powerseal did the welding and Nikasil on my kx125 jug last month. They come with a warranty as well incase of defect. 300$ total with shipping for a better than OEM product. Even less if you don’t need welding just a replate
PowerSeal USA is an amazing company I plan to send off my spare cylinder for my 84 KDX 200 so in case something happens I can do a quick top end swap and keep running
First, we're sorry to hear about the leukemia diagnosis Cameron, hope you get through it to full remission. will be praying for you brother! Second, another option here is just to send the cylinder to L.A. Sleeve and have 'em install their chromoly sleeve in it....works well every time I've done it and you then have the option of rebore to next size piston/overbore to more displacement (a bit expensive but they do great work.) : )'
Wish I had the money to buy a shirt bud. I'd love to help support your fight but unfortunately I'm struggling ATM... Awesome to see you back at it though! Getting up and being active doing something you love can only help strengthen you IMHO. I struggle with addiction and the best thing for a recovering addict is to stay active, so I believe it's helpful in your case as well. Take care man. You look healthy and strong brother! Keep up the good fight my dude. Love your videos man!
@@maxtharipper I've been in the power sports repair business for 31 years he doesn't do everything totally correct I can tell he hasn't rebuilt very many engines and no one uses a sheet rock or wood sanding block to surface the deck on a cylinder
Dam bro followed your vids for awhile now an just wanna say your badass dude to have been through so much your videos get even better your a fighter an a rare person nowadays keep it up an CAMSTRONG!!!!!
I've used power seal USA before. Very great results from them. Can I make a suggestion, now is the time to clean up the ports on the cylinder. Because if you happen to hit the cylinder wall is doesn't matter. They will correct any slight damage like that. Plus it would make for a great video!
Wow another works standard re furb from you Cam i hope Honda use your videos to show the world how these jobs should be done ,thank you Please God you will beat this cancer man keep safe Paul D
Hi Cameron! You are really doing your thing very well! Allow me a little criticism or better, a suggestion for improvement. Regarding your polishing works on the cylinder outside. I've had much better experiences when I get the cylinder outside glass bead jets and thus a slightly smokey surface. As a result, the wind will catch better in the rough surface and thus a better cooling of the cylinder is guaranteed! A polished surface of the cylinder dissipates the wind and thus prevents additional cooling due to the wind! Try it and give me your feedback. Lieben Gruß aus Deutschland und dem Thüringer Wald 👍
Hi Cameron!
Cameron you’re just like a Honda takes a beating but still keeps running 😂 I’m glad you’re doing a lot better love the build stay strong 💪🏻

This video makes me appreciate the simplicity of my YZ250 motor especially the exhaust valve.
Good idea having a buddy do it. Better safe than sorry. I know it is late but best wishes and hope that you are feeling better.

Hey I brought it in to my local shop (CEP Automotive) and it costed only $200 including the Wiesco Piston.
Jonathan Brugge you have a local shop that does plating? Dang how lucky
That's a bit of a rip off.
For £180 ($230) my 94 kx 125 cylinder was vapour blasted, welded and re-plated.
