      What you stayed + there just updated versions of what they were. example 5th gen mustangs and the 1st gen mustangs look about the same just some miner changes and a more modern touch.
      Man I love a 69 Mach 1

    Go back for the 429, it is in a '70 or '71 LTD and being those years it is a pre-emissions engine which means that it still made a lot of horsepower

      72 garbage. I have one in my 78 F250 4x4. Still lights the tires but the heads are total junk.

    • @T.Tuxedo
      @T.Tuxedo 5 лет назад +1

      One thing nice about the '72 heads is the factory induction-hardened exhaust valve seats which allow unleaded gas usage.
      There are many sites on the internet that give info on how to mildly port them.

    The truck is a C-600, the C stands for cab-over, The engine is a 391, an Industrial version of the famous 390 Thunderbird engine. I used to keep a fleet of these trucks running on propane for an Agriculture outfit in Calif.

    The VW is a mid to late 70's vintage, and you're correct the engine cases were aluminum-magnesium alloy. Back in the day, when they were cheap and plentiful it was pretty common to take an old VW case out to the desert and throw it on the fire. They would burn for hours.

    I want the big dog flatbed wow! So cool. Then I could haul my other non running projects. 😂 I used Thecraig909 discount and tested out my new multi color led halo headlights for my 67 f100 controllable with the bluetooth touch app. Dances to the music and you can dim or brighten the rings. The lights would fit on the flatbed... I wish. Or I can put the halos on my 66 mustang project. Thumbs up cool

    @7:48 . VW Bus . They keep burning because the fuel is gravity fed and the gas tank is in the engine bay , it just keeps feeding the fire 🔥. Same as bug fires 🔥( gravity fed / tank in the front) .
    Main cause of fire : Old rubber fuel hose cannot cope with the ethanol in modern fuel and degrades/ splits.
    Use R9 fuel pipe and replace regularly .
    And yes I own an old vw , ‘63 bug in fact. 👍🏻

    V W,s all had magnesium engine cases. that bus is a 68 or newer. they are called bay windows. 360,s were not in 67 f-100,s. unless somebody did an engine swap. they came with 352,s or straight sixes. that,s one thing that i miss about not living in So Cal. is the junk yards. there is one close to where i live, but the f-100 parts are starting to get kinda hard to find at least for a bumpside.
