Many young guys post salvage yard vids acting like they know vehicles but don't. You're one of the few that know their shit. Kudos man.
watching a classic video,,, dam I need that cluster... Time Stamp 5:29 can you go back in time get that for me... lol
Breaks my heart to see this.
Those. Chevys trucks had 454s in them the bigger ones had 366 tall decks also
Junkyard videos are one of my favorites!
Aus10 Same here. Love roaming the wrecking yards
agreed!
Better than Disneyland 🤗
It’s crazy how ur in Cali so there are all these old vehicles that u don’t care about. here in Minnesota if those trucks were here they would be snatched instantly
Love roaming the wrecking yards as well looking for classics.
You not the only one.
We know that you have awesome videos too.
@@johnnywrench5579 👍
every time i get a rusted rig i strip the good parts off before i scrap them i got a pile of parts the problem i have to store them out side and they tend to go bad in less it's none mech. parts i only keep chevy parts in my shop just because there way more universal but like all rigs the more built it is the more i like it
Junkyard exploration, one of my favorite activities..
love these dent side fords!!
Truck sounds amazing especially with earbuds in
What kind of person scrapped that dually squarebody? That thing is in such good shape.
Right man I would take that home and put it back together and the old square body suburban he called junk. Things are so easy to fix back up.
@@ScoobyDigites u would be surprise what people have hauled off for scrap i got a 79 short bed 4x4 full option truck with under 35,000 miles on it been parked in a shop mint condition running and driving i was told to scrap it but it went to my house and got the title to it with 2 other old camero's thtr some one was restoring with a bunch of good motors all were good power motors like a 454 stroker with tunnel ram he said it had 6000 miles on it and 8 cars parked out side all good project cars that was just one place i just got a 54 ford flat bed but the truck is perfect condition with a running flat head in it but the flat bed is rotted
It’s literally my dream tow vehicle for all my cars lol
that 1980 gmc dually had some mint emblems! wish that i could find those here in arizona!
MAN if only they had this selection at the junkyards around my home... I could use some of those old parts aah
Yeah those buckets are sweet now
Econoline is the name of that van
Engine sounds great!
Awesome video!
The local junkyard in upstate NY called Farr's junkyard. If you ever come up here, (you probably wont) it is like 150 acres of cars
I am pretty sure that the first car was an early 70's Mercury Comet the sister car to the Ford Maverick. I know the Maverick came out with the Grabber it had a hoped up 302 with a 4 speed was a wicked lil car....
Love the dodge extended cabs like that one
I love the dint sides I have a 78 F-150 super cab
I got a 1979 f350 whit 460
@@anthonycach4301 cool
you buy that capri, send it back to u.k,6k,in your hand..
You get pulled over much? Lol
There is nothing better a manual transmission . seeing your truck makes me miss my
1986 GMC C2500.
That mk1 Capri was in really decent condition, people in the UK and Europe would pay decent money for that shell as a lot of those here are incredibly rusty and that shell would be a whole lot easier to restore than a typical home-market example...
One of the many things that sucks about CA. Perfectly serviceable, rust free, interesting vehicles from the 70s and 80s driven to the yards because they can't pass smog. One thing I grab a ton of when I go to the yards is make specific hardware. All those weird length bolts, trim screws, clips etc. I asked once, they don't charge for it (at least that is what they told me) so I have gone in with an impact, cordless screwdriver and container and taken a few same brand as my truck vehicles apart just for the hardware.
I thought vehicles 24 plus yrs only did safety inspections
Man im gonna do that thats a great idea bolts are always the toughest to gather up good idea man
@9:23 - you missed the vintage aftermarket tach on the column!
What is the name of that junkyard? And are there others that supply older cars?
Man hearing your truck make me miss my 1985 S10 5 speed. My truck body wise was in very great condition but the 2.8L engine was bad. Kept overheating on me. I'm kicking myself in the butt for selling it.
They look a lot like van seats mid 80s.
Im new to the Channel what type of truck do you drive
That dent had dealer installed a/c if it was factory the controls would be by the heater controls
Hey you know that they sell at door seals at LMC it's probably why it's so loud in that truck I can see the light coming from underneath your passenger door.
Lawrence Eich if Craig wants to replace the door seals every two years, go with lmc. if he wants it done right the first time. go with the seals that Summit sells they fit like Ford made them. i have them on my 67 f-100.
@@lilorbielilorbie2496 theu got em for the 87 though 91 by anychance of so ill give em a try i gotta get some for my 89 f150
My 73 f100 was an ac truck still has all the factory vents and stuff and it's a factory 390 truck
nice mine is a factory ac 390 truck too but 72
He'll yea bro it sounds 12:36 badass!
We have a junk yard here that charges almost new prices for every thing they sell. I was going to buy some door handles for my truck and they asked for the same price as Auto Zone. So I just went and got the new ones and told them never mind.
The ac in the silver dentside is aftermarket. Somewhat rare
Junkyard Junkie 🔨🤗🔧
Junkyard videos are the best dude! Keep it up man
Your F100 roars!
chula vista ca, pick your parts, was there last week 👍
Sad that they crush those old trucks
Thats what im saying its sad cause eventually all the cool old shit will be gone
Android video as always my first board what is a 70 short bed 6 cylinder 3 on the tree I've had a couple more since then I currently roll and a 99 F250 four door enjoy the junkyard videos it was pretty cool seeing that little mercury when when I was young my stepfather had a spirit wagon LTD that had a 460 on it in Georgia driving part of the video have a great evening and thanks a lot for the great videos
I think that Mercury Capri was made in Germany...
2 piston brake (red) caliper at 3:07...
What kind of intake manifold in trunk of Maverick at 9:30...
Joe Schlotthauer qq
Those capris are super rare in the states
random car vids my best friend his brother -in-law had one back in the late 70,s. it was lowered all of the way around . it handled like it was on rails. right now i know of two Capris. one about 5 min. from my house and the other is in a junkyard about 1 hr . from my house. as far as i know they are both very complete
Thats was a dealership installed AC
Your truck sounds exactly like mine fuel pump and all lol
you ever thought of doing a 351 in your truck
Was that mustang calipers and 5 lug spindles in the trunk of the green ltd?
vultures picked it clean shame snagged a few parts Truck sounds nice.
The van at 9:25 was sweet
At 9:35,was that a 6 bbl windsor intake?
Duc Canard i was thinking the same thing. is could also be a manifold for a sbc. like in the American Graffiti coupe. Craig had better go back to that junkyard and check it out . if it,s still there.
How come your running a electric fuel pump
that way it has more fuel pressure
Pedal cam would have been awesome at 11mins to the end of your video!
What Junkyard is that? I need square body parts
@ 12 40 or so u checking for cop's........lol i think its a bit funny how hard starting u r mostly in 1 st & 2 nd & so on i'm shocked u have not got pulled over & gotten speed tix there while in video mode.........
You're only breaking the law if you get caught😳
What junkyard is this?
I'm sorry if it's too personal to ask but what do you spend in insurance for the F100?
he don't have insurance
Perfect time for road head 😛
EW Ltds, sorry that hit me in a soft spot I grew up in a k10 and a 82 gmc dump truck
I had one just like that back in the day 351 Windsor! 145 horsepower what a joke, it would've been a good car with a modern Engine and a 4 speed automatic transmission! 8mpg
Where did you get that sweater??
Get a Bronco man!
What junkyard is this? I need that core support!
9:06 I can see a Chevy Cobalt SS.
chevy,who cares.???.
awesome video dude ohh iam like number 429 ford people will know lol
I know of a ramcharger grille for sale if you are interested.
I’m looking for a c10 or a f100 what do you think I should go for?
Matthew Gates F100. I have a C30. Heavy rig. If you want lower gears and a big rear axle get like a f250 or a C20. That’s why I opted for a c30
Jack Watters I have a lot of highway miles
Jack Watters what do you think for high way miles
I like all old trucks, but Chevrolet is probably the easiest and cheapest to find parts for.
Reid Barnes okay thanks!!
11:13 dominoes dxp car
Thats an adventure not a D200 .D200 are sweptlines.
11:14 DXP car
1975 was the first year for the F-150 and damn I need that bed on the 78 you looked at. Even with that side panel damage because the floor was solid. The one on my 75 has good side panels but the floor is barely there. Also that was an aftermarket AC, my 75 has factory air and it is incorporated into the center controls.
4:23 WTF you eww to a square body. That's just wrong.
r/woosh
I agree. Bow tie til i die!! Ford eww...
Hell Yeah! Square body is the shits... Also love 73-79 F100-f150 have 77 f-150 short bed 4x4. I drive 89,90 GMC Sierra truck single cab short bed both 4x4's.. thanks
