Half of the "incidents" end with the narrator saying "Fortunately, ..." as though it was touch-and-go there for a second as to whether Ellen and the other person would become mortal enemies over a joke (in most cases) or just friendly aggressive banter. As the narrator says near the beginning of the video, celebrities are basically just like us, they do embarrassing things, they sometimes have awkward conversations, they prank each other, good friends say things to each other that sound rude to others who don't know or understand their relationship.
