I really appreciate that HP is trying to make whole hardware business more reusable... and I really appreciate making these instruction videos...
But for making simple keyboard so hard to replace / repair... there must be a special place in hell for that.
Few years ago with the "top mount" design every technician/engineer was able to change the keyboard in 2 minutes... even without turning off the laptop (ofc not recommended)...
Now you have to buy half of enclosure and spend 2h for procedure...

this is my first time replacing the keyboard on a g8 and wow, this is so much more work then i thought. I ordered a new keyboard which comes with a hull. so you have to attach the top cover on the new hull, and then switch all the hardware in the bottom cover.

Hi, thanks for your answer but do I unstand well, the keyboard can't be replaced on it's own (as you can do with the HP 650 G5?), for the HP 650 G8 you always have to replace the entire topcover? @@HPSupport

My hp laptop ay513tx is having an issue. When I use it on bettery it's shutting down suddenly without any warning and then only turning on when I plug in the power even though the battery percentage is more than 80%.

Troubleshoot the battery to see if it needs to be replaced as mentioned here: bit.ly/3O3PR3x
