  • Today I'm showing a watercolor tip for beginners that will give your paintings a more realistic look (and less amateurish): the feathering watercolor technique.
If you want to know how to avoid hard edges when blending watercolors and get crisp edges every time, this video is for you.
    Thank you for watching!

Please know that most of the projects I do on this channel were not originally created by me. I'm either using templates I find online or taking inspiration from awesome watercolor artists. I do not sell any of the art I make, I'm merely trying to help you improve and, when you're starting out, taking inspiration from other artists to train really is the best way to go.

Let's talk about feathering and blending those hard edges we don't like one bit. It's a must-know and this is how to do it! Enjoy!

Try to use two water jars.. one to clean the brush and dry it ,then dip into clean water when you want to use another colour ❤❤❤

Let’s be nice! Fundamentally the advice is correct. Watercolor is a journey - eventually with enough practice anyone can master the technique. “Pro” is a bit of a loose term used in alot of YT videos. Think of it as leveling up 😊

@@AnnaBucciarelli pro is not a loose term. it indicates that the level is sufficient for someone to make a living on. i'm sorry if that doesn't sound nice to you.. but it's accurate

@@AnnaBucciarelli and i don't find it nice that you are mucking up the feed, wasting people's time, with this misuse of basic terms. If find someone else abusing the term, send me the link. I'll correct them as well.

If you don't know that art is subjective and that people's idea of what professional is varies, you may either want to do more research to get a more informed worldview, or pick a different profession. This here what you're doing, just makes you seem bitter, ungrateful, and ignorant. She taught a technique, not a course, and did that for free.

@suzanne1797 lol.. I'm an artist. Basically terminology is not subjective.
