What a beautiful tank brother. The micro tank has always been my favourite one. This beauty is handcrafted with a lot of love and hard work. This reef beauty in my wishlist. Who love reefing, can't leave this micro tank kit. Well done. Great job. So excited to see more beauties. Maintenance kit is so lovely . Goldy
Thanks bro! That means lot! Our MicroTank was created from my loving passion as a product designer and maker but also as a reefer myself. I will continue to spread joys and hopefully for others to create a successful micro reef as well.
It looks very nice, really am considering it, but it is priced at more than double what its competitor pnw charges for their all in one one gallon. This one looks nicer and the light is better, I just don't know if it warrants paying four something. We will see if I'm crazy enough to buy one.
Update on update: It is beautiful, but beware they take forever. I got it in today (June 24th) and ordered it mid May. So don't buy it an assume its getting to your house anytime, but plenty of time to cycle your rocks and sand in a bucket while you wait.
Unfortunately unless it's being mass produced with reduced integrity/quality of materials and craftmanship, I can't see it being discounted. You're paying for the high-quality of craftmanship/design/materials and full support. It is critical to realize I'm single-handedly building these system one by one from a passionate love for the hobby and crafting, not by a screw in a big factory. The only way I can see it priced in that range is a more simplified version without the functional stand and simple clear cover (no contour rim).
for 200 i wouldn't go with this rinky ass thing. this is suitable for corals only imo. confining any reef species to a tank this small would be like putting an adult human in a 5x5' box their whole life. kinda fucked up. For 200 bucks, get a fluval 13.5 or an IM 10g cube.
Thank you! You're paying for a one-of-a-kind (first in its class) hand-crafted "limited run" on a high-end quality design/craftmanship. I designed this system toward the aesthetes who'd understand and appreciate my passionate works involved in developing and making it. That said, I'm sure you can find alternatives to start a pico reef that meet your budget.
The hours spent designing, the material, the machines/tools to cut etc add up. This is designed perfectly I would buy this in a heartbeat if it included the light and heater. I am tempted to buy it anyway. For some reason hitting over the 400 mark is just out of my willingness to pay. The s20 and heater included at 350 would be perfect
@@kristians7377 I'd pay 250 for it tops. Without the pump and light. There is a guy I follow on insta here in the UK who makes a tank with similar dimensions for £90
@@sammora470 I think most people overlooked the fact that it's not just the price that you should be looking at! The fabrication method and materials being used are highly critical when it comes to acrylic tanks, not to mention we've been fabricating for years. Using cheap imported materials (made in China) and improper technique leads to pre-mature seams cracking and integrity failure, even if it looked good at first. The problem is most consumers can't see this coming at first glance, but will within 10-14 weeks, by the time it's too late to complain. Just know what you're getting!

This is actually really cool, might have to grab one of these for my desk
Wow, beautiful tank that is very well thought out! However there really should be a light and heater included for the price tag.

Love this video. Professional level work
Thanks my friend! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Cool aquarium, and nice video... but I was totally distracted by the gloves.
24Lx15Wx12H AIO Peninsula please make one. Would buy it in a heart beat for sure.
I will keep that in mind! Thanks!
I'm pretty sure that already exist.

Update: Yeah, I ordered one. This video sold me on spending that much.

Are there any stockists of this or similar systems in Australia?
🔥
Thanks bro!
can u show the chiller mini
There’s no chiller for this setup.
Do you have one a little bigger than that?
Sorry not at this time but I will keep that in mind.
Is this available in glass? Acrylic is a no no for saltwater.
We’re specialized in acrylics and have acrylic tank running for years.
Did y'all shutdown?
UPDATE: Checkout our live tank that's been running for over 10 months on our Instagram: instagram.com/oceanboxdesigns
Will the price go down to atleast $200 :( i just can’t justify the price.

You could have put a sump in that stand...
how do you keep coral alive and healty in a tank like this?
Corals, probably not too hard for softies. fish? you don't. and if you try justify doing it, you're a PoS.
has anyone tried this with little fish and will they be fine?
A tiny clown goby should be fine!!
send for brazil?
Lovely tank design but it is ridiculously stupidly overpriced I can't even begin to go into it.

You have an Asian accent and on your website, it says that your last name is Truong. Are you Vietnamese?
Had a horrible experience with this company. Not sure but i think products come from china. Would not recommend
What's the deal with gloves these days.....? you needed gloves for this....lol
(women like men with strong rough hands)
1. It's too protect the tank, not the hands.
2. Not all women do.
3. #toxicmasculinuty.
@@droimar7022 LOL.... ok cupcake.
assuming this was for corals only as putting any actual fish in this is basically cruelty.
