Such an awesome video! I can't believe that this is the cutest thing you've ever bought, that really means a lot to us! Your coral choices were PERFECT for this tank! And the sexy shrimp are absolutely fantastic to watch and a great size for the micro reef! Your tank is progressing so well, can't wait to follow along for updates!
You could get a cute bread box to modify to hide the wiring. Would look cute on the counter since it's in your kitchen and you would be able to access the components easily :)
While your new Filefish is eating the Aptasia I would look at your backsplash. Mark a area right of the outlet(3"from right of it) since window is on left. If your backsplash is what looks like tongue n groove plank you can cut a section out and tuck the wires in. Just make sure there's enough space for the adapters and wires, plus room for it to breath. Then drill a hole through the plank you cutout and insert a plastic grommet to make the drilled hole nicer looking. Then you could slide the plank back over the space using gorilla tape on the inside to hold it(diy way lol), or mount high strength magnets to each surface... Click! As long as you leave enough space for you to slide wires in and out you'll be fine. Think of it as the wire niche 😉 Should be easy for you, take under an hours time. Your new Filefish will be chomping away in the background. Best wishes
You mention in your video hiding cables, I have done that very successfully with "cable boxes" on Amazon.. This is the third time I am posting this comment to help you, not sure if/why RUclips deletes them.
Also, be mindful that because of the size of the tank, the parameter swings will be even more dramatic. I wouldn't do any corals, but good idea on the berghia breeding ground
I would have started with new sand, new rock. Any kind of issues you have with the main tank, transferring those items to another tank will only spread them even if you can't see it.

Hiii pnw custom I love your micro reef tank
I discovered some uptasia on some of my rooks on my reef tank, put them on bleach bath could kill the uptasia?
Thanks
So glad you picked up a sexy shrimp! I have 7 of them they are so fun to watch!
I love them so much!!
I freaking love Inkbirds. Never having a tank without one again
Right?! They're so nifty
I was thinking about getting one of these tiny things
I really like the macro algae. Great splash of color.
Maybe some gsp localized somewhere would add some nice movement.
Ooou gsp would be a really good idea, especially if I pop it next to the macro algae 👀
Is there an update on this little cutie?
hey @queenofreef you stopped making videos? what happened to this tank? did you make/get a box for the cables? did you add more sexy shrimp?

That is such a good idea!!! I could even try make little holes for all the cables 😍

Have some marginalis butterfly tho they aren't copper bands they fo still eat apstasia
That is awesome! Def need another shrimp
What's the name of the red macro Algae
Not sure, but looks similar to a dragons breath
To hide cables, get a small box to put ta k on top of. It could be maybe 2" Tall. Think innovative marine aps pedalstool stands
Means you already have a mix nano tank with....macro algae and aiptasia. :)
Have a mix of both because it will look way better with both especially the corals! 😄
I think so too! 😍
@@QueenofReef yesssss 😁😄
Love your videos great 👍 tanks I’m also in Texas God blessed
What tang are you putting in it?
A sailfin is the obvious choice 🤣
The question might be which isn't she 🤣... Tang gang
Thats like black beard algae in a freshwater tank 😝 its so cute and sexy the shrimp, that is .
That looks great just add some more and another Scrimp 😂🌿 Glue a tiny Acro to the little piece of rock in front also some mushrooms. 💜
Definitely some anacropora would be so cool!! And shrimp neeeeds a buddy asap

Awesome
The aptasia would just drive me crazy aha
It definitely drives me crazy 😮💨
Reef dork threw his in the trash can in his last video!!🤣🤣🤣
Oh noooo!!
@@QueenofReef 🤣🤣🤣🤣🥸
Berghia breeder fooooor sure 👍👍
I'm thinking about it 👀

You should rename your channel to queef that would be cool
That is one sexy shrimp.
Oh yeaaaah
Still don't understand why they put a sump on it. A built in top up unit instead of the sump makes sense. Stupid idea of a tank imo.
you should shorten your youtube name from queen of reef to queef
has a good ring to it
queef of reef ✨ probably more fitting hahaha

1 facken shrimp! Shame!
I know 😭 instant regret of not getting two at the store
I know where this will go... in the bin.
Let's see if I am wrong. Just being realistic people, don't hate
Good thing it's small and easy to tear down and put up 😊
