I think the biggest challenge in aquascaping tanks is the dimension of the tanks themselves. Front to back depth of 24” is challenging and 18” is almost impossible. We need more “deep dimension” tanks available in the hobby. Actual depth is better than trying to create perceived depth.
It's funny to me how you discuss how much you dislike your scapes. It was your video on scaping that gave me the ideas to create my own scape. The tips on "rule of 3rds" was key for me in my design. The one thing I would change in my own design is height! If I could do it again from scratch, I would go probably half again as tall as I have now. The tallest point of my current scape is about half the tank height. I really would love to have a piece to reach closer to the surface for better placement of Acros. Thanks for the video. I'm a huge fan. Look forward to the next update.
I think part of what makes it feel flat is the negative space in the middle; the gaps on each rock line up instead of being offset from eachother, if that makes sense!
Love the style of your videos. You’ve pretty much talked about the aqua scape tips I’ve learned so I have none to suggest. You should go more in depth of what you dose, what you feed, water change, the sump, your routines, etc on future videos. That would be nice.
Hi community! Question, using microbacter7 and ocean direct to cycle a tank. I can see ammonia being depleted since I test ever 8 hrs or so but Nitrite and Nitrate are nowhere to be found. What's going on?
I've done the nsa aqua scape and at first I loved it but now that my coral is starting to grow I'm a bit disappointed because I don't think my coral will have the real-estate to grow properly.
Great timing as I’m setting up a new aquascape at the moment. Definitely going to take these things into account !
Yay! Definitely learn from my mistakes 😂

Thanks for sharing your ups and downs of your reefing journey great job as always
Some great nuggets of wisdom here, thanks! 🙏
Great to see a vid from you again👍🏼
More to come!!
the tank looks pretty amazing from almost any angle but glad to see you're perfecting your craft :)
Great info! Super presentation Queen

WOW Thanks for the tips! I was wondering do you put a screen top on your tanks or worry about your fish jumping out??
Saw your videos and it got me into saltwater now ... I'm starting with a 20 gallon and I have 3 damsels so far so good
Great video. Definitely very informative. Great job 👏
Amazing video love this.
I’ve been contemplating taking out my arches for months cuz they r shadowing my whole tank.
Shadowing is the worst😩

Feeling inadequate coz Steph thinks 3-4inches isn’t enough 😓😂🍻❤️
I meaaann, she also said angles were important 😂
Can we get a tour inside your sumps please? Your tank 👌❤️
omg thanky youuu. i was literally just saying i was wanting to watch one of your videos. LOL
😃😃😃😃
What superglue are you using to glue rock an frags
One of the fish I see will grow to 12 to 17 inches long or more..

How long since you started?
Aug 22 I believe. I think MB7 isn't as potent as Dr. Tim or fritz

IMO, number one thing when aquascaping is to scape for the comfort and needs of your choice of fish first.

Put the couch there.....no there.....no there.....lol
That’s how it feels most of the time 🤣
Seeing your large scape you didnt consider the weight of your corals. When all the acros are fully grown colonies the scape will get overweight
It’s actually incredibly sturdy , backed the part that’s hidden with cement to help support weight ! I have a video up about it 😊
