Well, some people like to challenge themselves with projects that would look impossible. I think that it's the ultimate challenge to restore something that was destroyed in a fire. This was impressively done.
Wow you completely amazed me I have been watching your work for a while and am always satisfied every time I am 64 yrs old and remember these toys from my youth and my kids Thanks for an enjoyable watch every time keep it up
I had the exact same one as a kid. I think I had all the ones you have restored on Tonka. Missing my dad right now. Every time he came home from being away months. He brought home a Tonka for me.
A total BAD ASS restoration. The only way you would ever tell it was burned is if you watch this video. Who would have thought when we were wrecking our Tonka toys way back when, that a good craftsman would buy them and make them like new again. Thoroughly enjoy watching these pieces come back to life. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, he showed everything that needed to be shown within a short time-span. Indeed shown high professionalism in editing and restoring the Tonka Toy as well.
This is a great example of a real restoration being done. It never ceases to amaze me how many people ruin things and claim they are abandoned just to "restore" them. Mean while we have channels like this that do actual work and take great pride in what they do without a gimmick.
Sadly, I'm old enough to remember seeing this brand new in stores. I don't remember them ever looking this good. That is an amazing restoration! Well done Sir!
Very cool. I feel like a little kid “I want that!”. My grandkids would get upset that I wouldn’t share. Lol. The kids cheering still makes me smile and laugh after all this time and Bob Ross is brilliant.
Awesome build....I had one of those as a kid...They came with a plastic lift jack and a spare tire so you could change a flat if needed while out on the trails...lol....Watching this video and all the other of the Tonka restorations brings back some really great child hood memories! Keep up the excellent work and God Bless!
I think that it's the ultimate challenge to restore something that was destroyed in a fire. This was impressively done. To look at the finished product, one would never think that it was involved in a fire.
Did I just see you turn a hunk of rust into that badass little truck. Sir you are a truck whisperer. Very talented man. I bet your family fights for your presents under the Christmas tree.
Had the exact truck as a kid seen many of them left to rust outside repainted or trashed . Always wanted to do what you just did I had forgotten about the antenna on the side i think it was the first thing to break .never understood why the bike was rubber but the tires were hard plastic. Awesome job recreating a missing piece of my childhood
I thought it would have been rusted much much worst than what it was. I kind of thought parts truck but I forgot who I was watching for a couple 3 mins. Then when I realized who I was watching I knew it would turn out looking better than new and it did great job SIR.
Super cool resto!!! I still have a truck similar to this one, although mine is just an ordinary truck. It was red at one time, but I taped off the decal and painted it black. I also have a van that I taped off and painted black. That was originally a sandy brown color. One of these days, I want to return them to their original color.
A total trash to treasure restoration. Definitely a classic example of American power truck. Nicely done sir very nicely done indeed. Please remember that this Texan watches you work with a little smile on my face. Paul 😁👍🇺🇸🇨🇱
I believe that we actually have that same truck but a bit rusted up at our house. The part that i recognized the most was that big roof spoiler thing that was on it.
Come on man, those tires were totally salvageable! Great work!
lmao! my osmosis tire rehydrator is down, so I had to go with new ones
@@TRGRESTORATIONS Quitter!
O:
Well that's ok ! This was a great work of Engineering
Brand New ! $ 60.00 worth or more .
The old tires were toast anyway
“TONKA… toys that last!”
Testament to Tonka’s legacy and your passion for this iconic toy brand! Thank you!
Thank you! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I'm so glad there are replacement and quality used parts for these old and fun Tonka vehicles. Nicely done sir!
Glad you like them!
We can truly say that this truck is a phoenix: it is literally reborn from its ashes
Thank you! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I don't think many people would look at what you started with and think that it was restorable. Wow!
Thank you! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

That truck went from burnt orange to actually burnt . Lol! Then to jet black . Fricken wicked restoration man !
Thanks for watching! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I love how you use as much of the original truck as possible. Fantastic work.
Thank you! Cheers!

Coolest tonka ever!!! I had the same size truck but it was just blue with no cool accessories like this one. From the ashes rose a phoenix!
Thank you! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Me too I think it was a bigfoot version
Looks totally awesome!!

Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome 👍. When I saw the condition of that truck I said to myself, " I've got to take the time to see this one!" Great job!!
Thanks 👍
It's not only a marvelous restoration, but, if I see it correctly, also further customizing. The color is also marvelous.
Very nice!!! It looks like a brand new truck.Great Job in saving something most people would have thrown in the trash.
Thanks 👍
Watching you restore what people would throw away gives me that much more appreciation for those who built these in the first place!
Thanks for watching! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Little did that truck know of the amount of TLC it was about to get when you came along and rescued it. Amazing job

Beautiful job wonderful attention to detail
Great job. Would love to see one of these restored to look like the truck from The Fall Guy.
That would be cool!
There was a “Fall Guy” Tonka. My younger brother had it.
@@benloyd1970 just found another resto mod into a Fall Guy truck . But would still like to see another interpretation of it.
Another great video! Awsome job on the truck; I'm glad to see these classic toys restored like this. I had this truck when I was a kid.
The decals really made the restoration. Before that I was a bit meh 😕 excellent work as usual.
Thanks 👍
@@TRGRESTORATIONS did you make the decals ? if so what was the program, if not where did you get them
