- If you've ever had a puncture in your motorcycle tyre, we have the two essential tools to get you back on the road. The first is a compact puncture repair kit that includes all the tools you'll need and the second is a battery operated mini compressor to get that plugged tyre inflated.

Brilliant! Happy to have been in the right place at the right time. Always love teaching people to
do their own repairs.
What a great kit too!!!!
Hey Stef, always great to go for a ride with you. I have tested the pump, will pump up a tyre from flat in about 3 minutes, brilliant.
@@BikerTorque as long as there aren’t forty nails in it 😂😂😂
Great vudeo! I had the sad experience of puncture with innertubed tyre the other week; a right pain in the ass! Greetings from the UK
Hey, thanks for watching. Yes tubed tyres are a pain, who carry’s a spare tube with them regularly
Good that you learned how to fix a flat! Now you shouldn't worry if you get a punctured tire again,. Hopefully you won't ever have to use that knowledge!! :-)
We hope so too!
Good thing the shops weren’t to far away mate I always carry plug kit patches tyre levers and a pump if it can’t be fixed big zip ties to stop the tyre spinning on the rim there’s always a way mate well done on getting it done cheers
Good tip!
Great tools to have. I have a repair kit and pump with me. Hopefully I’ll never need it.
Hopefully we don’t need them this week
Some puncture repair kits come with compressed air canisters. Very handy to get you to a servo.
Tried to buy them, the servo didn’t have any
Very relateable content. Happens to me on my motor cycle that I own and also ride.
Which model do you have Ash?
@@BikerTorque I have a beautiful 2023 Harley Davidson Softail standard 107 with ABS however I've customised it by removing the engine, gas tank, oil tank, exhaust pipes, fender, muffler, spark advance, foot gear shift, circuit breaker and head light and instead I've added a chain cogset and crank pedal.
She's a real beaut.
I did St Albans Rd and River Rd a couple of times this last month myself. Nice.
This was a while ago, but always a great ride on those roads
Unlucky!! But glad to hear everything turned out ok in the end! 😊
Us too!
I always carry a small toolkit, puncture repair kit like you have in the video and an airman pump in my tailpack which works off my bike battery (so it's important to have the bike running while pumping the tyre up after) the CO2 cannisters are not much good as they do not have enough in them to be able to inflate yourvtyre to the correct pressure and is you get 2 punctures or thev1st attempt at a repair doesn't work you can quickly run out. I carry a few tubes of glue as thatvacts asca lubricant to help you insert the sticky string.
Funny thing is, I do usually carry a puncture repair kit, but all separate tools. Agree on the CO2 canisters, not much chop
@@BikerTorque sorry my mis, when I said tool kit I meant a selection like yourself. Insulation tape, Cable ties, a few nuts and bolts, long nose pliers, cutters, torx bits and a few 1/4" drive sockets and extension bar and a ratchet drive. I've not had to use them myself but have helped other bikermates out in the past.
Hopefully we don’t need the new gear mate 🤞🏻
Hopefully we don’t but it’s packed and ready just in case we do
Are those Tire Repair Rubber Nails any good also, I have not needed any yet but wondering what is best with tubeless
Not sure which ones you mean
The critical ingredient was missing the rasping bar needed like Vaseline a little lube makes life easier.. just saying 😊
Thanks for the tip!
Two in one day? You used up all your bad luck at once!
Worst bit was I was flying over seas the following day and forgot that I put my brand new pair of pliers in my camera bag which was hand carry. Needless to say they got confiscated pretty quickly
you can't be serious... riding on airless tire for several km just chews up its sidewalls ...
Many tyres are designed to cope with run-flat, as long as you go easy and limit the distance.
maybe softer offroad types... I'm not familiar with them... for sure not the reinforces road ones... anyhow ,it's personal risk to take, but not to be presented as general practice ... @@michaelwatts224
Agree, but it was a calculated risk, worked out this time
