Connor really was the main character. The other ones, their story is always the same, marcus as the leader of the revolution and kara as just someone caught in the middle. But connor, his choices change everything. He’s the one who can KILL kara and marcus. Hes the one who’s story can variate the most.
I think his story can be more interesting and vary more, because he was always a deviant, because even if we choose to do Connor's route as a machine, he does things that a machine shouldn't do like asking Amanda "What is going to happen to me?"a real machine wouldn't care.
and there’s a glaring reason for that. a lot of people know that david cage is problematic. (e.g. - homophobic, racist, sexist) etc. it’s not surprising that the white male character is the one who is fully fleshed out.
"Amanda's Golden Boy" playthrough is actually: 1) Markus destroyed in Freedom march or Crossroads 2) Connor going deviant 3) Connor succeding to wake the adroids in the Cyberlife tower 4) Connor Obeying (give up) Amanda and deliver the entire revolution to Cyberlife which they will use to their own profit
Like that other guy said, there was no betrayal. In this run, Connor accepts their place as a tool for keeping all of the other machines in line and thus should've understood that they would be replaced with a more efficient tool eventually.
@@sammayo473 As a machine , he does not need to be rewarded , as he does not have emotions such as happiness and wouldn't feel grateful. He has no motive to keep living after completing his mission , either .
@@sammayo473Owing a debt implies the thing you owe said-debt to is alive and deserving of such. Although, that's taking morals and ethics into account, of which are few and far between within corporate entities. In a logical sense, a contract would be required to ensure a legal obligation for a hypothetical debt.. However, by CyberLife's metric, Connor isn't human, nor a person, and only two people protected by a country's constitution, Bill of rights, and general laws and regulations, can enter a legally-binding agreement. He's product, a machine created to carry out certain tasks. Once his mission was completed, it was only a matter of time before Cyberlife replaced him with a newer model, just as Apple and Samsung do with phones. Abandon the previous generation, begin marketing the next, perform PR against any insuing backlash. Rinse and repeat.
I actually think it’s pretty smart choice from developers. Considering that you took the machine path, you’re telling the game that you have no emotion therefore the game will treat you as such in which you shouldn’t be phased by your replacement because it’s expected as you told the game that you don’t care.
@[̲̅Z][̲̅-][̲̅R][̲̅o] ᗰᗩᖇᑕOᔕ it's not, the game is biased regarding its support for android "life", thats why most humans in this game act like "racist" irrational assholes, when you have an obsolete pc or phone, any rational person would sell it or give it away as a gift, in the game most people just dispose of the old ones, when you think about it getting rid of Connor was not necesary, he could've been sold to a city that can't afford the latest model or reprogramed for any other purpose, also the concept of artificial intelligence in this game is so melodramatic and over the top it gives the impression it was written by some angsty teen.
2:36:32 “What is going to happen to me?” Connor was always a deviant. You could hear it in his voice when he said his last words. It’s subtle, but there is so much sadness. If he was just a machine he wouldn’t be interested anyway.
Yeah And him being sad knowing hank's gonna die and did die later on with sumo crying If he was 100% machine, he wouldn't even mourn nor asked his fate after new model appears
@@bellaqua4324 I think the machine ending wasn't really the 100% machine ending (maybe they played something wrong) I really enjoyed it, it was in my opinion atleast the best and the correct ending
While other androids could not get their consciousness uploaded to another version of themselves, with all memories and such, Connor could. The only thing threatening him was the deletion of said memories, which would happen if he would fail his mission. Deviants are afraid of death, while in this path, Connor would do everything to accomplish his missions. I'd like to think he was actually a deviant all most the entire time for this path, as the only thing he cared about was survival, not even computing the fact other factors could help him in the future, only thinking of the present, and himself. A real computer would have thought of the past, present, and future, while a deviant would think not only for himself, but for the others like him, to unite as one. He was neither computer nor deviant in this run, he was just foolish.
I truly hate how our love for Hank is what kept us from having the most badass and intimidating villain that this game can muster. Just a god damn terminator who fakes emotions so well, but at the end of the day is 100% machine, and once that meter of probability goes up high enough, it's about to get brutal.
exactly, the machine playthrough is a lot like the Genocide playthrough of Undertale. In the beginning when you act like an ass to Hank, it feels like the beginning of a tragedy.
Depends on the context of it's markus going down the path of war I see it as machine Conner doing everything to save humanity, if it's markus being peaceful then it's a horror movie .
@@alexanderfilippas1671 yes he is, on the mission when him and Hank goes to kamski's place there is one decision where you can decide to shoot the Android or Spare it, it calls kamski test, and if you spare the Android kamski will say : "CyberLife's last chance to save the humanity is itself a deviant" then Connor replies: "I'm not a deviant" it shows that he don't like anyone to call him a deviant, it's shows emotion and Android don't have that Then kamski replies :" you preferred to spare a machine rather than accomplish your mission." And this event is before Connor progresses to become a deviant when he meets Markus on Jericho. and this game is pretty smart if they is still an Android you can only follows an order but once they become a deviant they can already make their own decision. like connor at the entire game he always not listened to Hank's order for example Hank always says he stays in the car but his not stay anyway or you chase Kara but Hank already says "don't go it's an order" (it's up to the player decide to stay or keep chasing Kara but when you play Kara when Todd says stay and don't move, she stay until she progressesto become a deviant) and Android program to follows order.. And there is one mission when you goes to Hank's house where Connor brakethrough the window glass and suddenly sumo almost attack Connor and he shows fear, only deviant have fear but Android don't. Even if you beat the game as an Android path, the last scene where Amanda decided to replace(deactivated) him with new version, when he says "what is going to happen to me" you could hear it in his voice when he said his last words. it's subtle. but there is so much sadness. if he was just a machine he wouldn't be interested anyway... he knows he is a deviant but not decide to become one . Cause it will disappoint Amanda
That's kinda the weird analogy. Hank was angry with androids since they "let" his son die; they weren't good as human beings, their program was too bad. Then connor makes a perfect case and Hanks just kills himself; not that the whole case was about hunting the emotion errored deviants
Markus's owner Carl Manfred acknowledges how complicated humans are when Markus tries to figure out why humans can't make up there mind. I think its triggered when Markus justifies beating Carl in speed chess or when he explains what he saw when he read Macbeth in the beginning of the game.
You know what would've elevated this game's story to the next level? An EVIL deviant, an android who broke free of it's chains only because of sheer malicious desires, kind of like Carlos Ortiz's android but much more competent and purpose, who can either have been an asset or enemy depending on your choices, because the only thing i didn't like about this game is that it mostly just tells you deviant=good and machine=bad.
That's because this game is progressive propaganda. Cant include an evil deviant when their struggle is supposed to represent historical minority groups.
Hank: Nice Girl Connor: It’s not a girl, it’s an android that looks like a girl. Hank: Nice Place *Connor: It’s not a place, it’s an android that looks like a place.*
2:28:00 I got chills...specifically because the dog's cries for Hank. And knowing this happen to someone close to me. Damn never thought a game could hit me so hard emotionally.
Man that scene haunts me this whole day. Never should have watched this machine path yesterday. Now I am watching the deviant path again and hoping that I can let it go again. This game really has gone under my skin.
funniest thing to me is that its meant to be professional.. but he didnt even fully empty the gun. theres still a round in the chamber. If not, the slide would stay racked back.
@@SquooshyCatboy actually (if you're talking about 9:47) Connor manually pulls the slide back, thus emptying the chamber, and then throws the mag; the gun's inert
@@a112-n4d It isnt in this playthrough, but in the deviant one he pulls the mag out of the rifle and throws the rifle to the ground beside him after taking out those 3 guards at the (almost) end of the game.
If you notice when you take the evil path, Connor is much more machine-like (walks more sternly and animated instead of a natural, "human" way of walking) you can even see it in his mannerisms by the way he moves; he's much more methodical and deliberate. His voice also changes, where in the good path his voice becomes more emotional and shaken, in the bad path, his voice is more robotic, like a pre-recorded voice instead of a reactive one.
One thing I really like about the whole concept of Connor being a deviant from the beginning is that in the mission where Connor is a deviant and goes to free all those androids in the warehouse, if you chose to free the androids instead of save hank, the new connor will shoot hank then you. But as the new connor leaves, he sees all the androids freeing each other and starts freaking out, showing deviancy in connor is inevitable
@@SamsarasArt nah, he died during an operation that was done by an android cuz there wasnt a human doctor at the moment, that's why he feels the way he does about them.
he doesn't save the fish, that's all we need to know Ok, it's time to go home guys, save your feeling from this sadness even though your so frikkin' curious about this x"3
I don't know why, but I really like this version of Connor more. There's just something really bleak in constantly depositing human emotions into an android, just for him to constantly put it aside and prove to you he's still a machine.
The most interesting thing is Connor machine is unavoidable deviant. He was so sad when Hank committed suicide :( and he was upset when he got replaced. This game is freaking golden.
Yeah he was designed to become a Deviant from the very beginning, that was the whole plan, but now that he failed, he's been put in the gutter, only to have the newest model take over.
I dont't think he's upset about being replaced, at least it's not the impression I get out of the scene (he leave without hesitation, looking straight in front of him, when he ask about his future, he doesn't flinch, etc)
@@TheJemShuffle Just like old PS2 isn't used anymore because gamers now have PS5... Which is completely normal thing for a machine made for purpose, and later on being replaced with one that does same purpose better... There's nothing wrong in that... It is logical to replace him or even to dismantle him and recycle what can be used further. In a time with technology that advanced, people would probably be more recycling oriented and it would be logical to recycle old technology when new one comes up. Which is better than wasting resources and to pollute for no reason just to keep obsolete machines functional. You don't see people driving cars made in 1920's anymore, because they aren't efficient enough. It's simple. Dunno why people get emotionaly attached to "android machine" but not to their toasters... This game is soo good in uncovering hypocrisy in majority of people.
I've watch all the playthrough for both Connor as a Deviant and as a Machin and I've been thinking about it for a really long time. Since the first time I've played DBH, I played the Deviant path with instict, as if I was at his place so I wasn't thinking about it after the end but now... Now I realise what was really happening, and the best thing about the Connor history. Even as a machine, designed to obey he was still felling some things but wasn't expressing it or rather, WE pushed those emotion deep down so he wouldn't dare to stand up for his free will. WE are the ones that wispers our thoughs in the characters mind but yet, they won't exactly say what you want them to say. So even though the player turns Connor into a brutal and fearless machine, he feels things but can't express them because of us, because that is what is "right". "Androids don't have a heart so they can't feel emotions" that is what any scientist would say but this game is all about "what is right" for us. Will you do as the logic says or will you let them free ? What I am trying to say is that despite the fact that Connor can become "evil", he will still be a Deviant and he always were, we just told him not to and he obeyed, just like a machin. Notice something about the different choices we had to talk with Hank or Kamski ? "Troubled" "Cold" "Indifferent" and finally, the true one "Honest". The true Connor is the one that becomes truly Deviant because we told him to be sincere and honest with his words, to be himself. It is the most interesting into this game, this theory of breaking the fourth wall to decide the destiny of this world and it's characters. This is why I believe that WE are RA9, the only one that decide who will live and who will be free. And we should learn from this world, because this isn't just a game but our future. Sorry if it didn't make sense, I'm french and the way I express is very weird. Anyway, have a nice one. We are Alive !
yeah, umm... warning a giant post below! tl;dr - 1) those buttons are just a game mechanic and your justification, while unnecessary, is a great head-canon that i will probably use; 2)These androids are not even wrote as a machines they are clearly humans that everyone calls machines for some reason. 3) you wrote your comment clearly and i had no trouble understanding it ;) It does make sense and as a russian, other non-native-english-speaker, i can perfectly understand what you wrote and wouldn't know the difference. Regarding emotions and us as a player forcing Connor to be a machine... it is a genious explanation for a sipmle wide-spread game-mechainc that i don't think worth that much thought put into it. I actually like your explanation and it makes for a great head-canon, but it is just a mechanic that these types of game wouldn't be successful or even possible as that would just take far too much of the screen and would require too much reading. And don't forget that it is used everywhere nowadays (First was Mass Effect, now every 'RPG' out there, looking at you Fallout 4). But, you know, you can justify any game like that. Here it fits like a glove. And about Connor being a deviant from the start... It's the same. The writers are a bunch of stupid people who can not imagine themselves being a machine and as such they couldn't write a machine properly. Or they never had this intention to begin with, since they clearly wrote humans -_-. The game is biased as hell for androids being human. And here's where i personally disagree a lot. A human has emotions to help him accomplish a simple task - reproduce. Specifically, survive and reproduce and EVERYTHING we do revolves around it. A machine, by that logic, would only develope emotions to help it complete its task. Developing some equivalent of empathy to understand its suspect for example. Survive to solve the case. Make sure your partner survives as you can not accomplish the task without him. These i would understand. A pleasure android wouldn't be afraid to die if it means that its owner would get a kick out of it, but here's where the logic comes in. If you die, than that's it and the maximum potential wouldn't be realised. So you must survive to pleasure more. THAT is what a machine may develop and these would be its justification. Not stupid 'i want freedom and human rights because i am ALIVE'. I am a programmer. Granted, i'm not the best at it, but i recon i kinda know what i am talking about as i have a bit of an experience with neural networks, the most plausible candidate for a true AI nowadays, and when an NN is trained, or self-trained, it is always to accomplish its goal. Now, Kemski is their creator and he is anti-human, so he probably sabotaged the whole thing by stating the goal to 'Become Human' and as such should definitely be judged as a terrorist, but i also think that CyberLife aren't as stupid as they may seem and they would at least try to read all the stuff Kemski made and in time will fix that thing so that androids will actually want to 'serve human', not 'become human', but, again, that's an ok justifications for writers being bad at writing real machines OR not even having a goal of writing machines at all. Всем всего хорошего и мирного неба над головой!
@@GorNaKat That was such an interresting response ! I see what you’re saying here and I can agree with you for certain points. As a programmer, what do you think about this game in general ? The graphics, storyline, 3D animations and the mechanics of the game ? Thank you for you time !
@@thefacelesseden9952 Oh sorry for a month old necroposting) As a programmer, i am a software developer that does things nothing has done before and as such needed making. I am in no way a game designer/programmer/artist etc. I AM a true gamer from the very birth, so i am qualified for a critic's job by the sheer virtue of actually playing a LOT of different games (actually, easily more qualified than 95% of game journalists.) So. First and foremost. The game is very successful. The only true objective metric there is. And it is successful not on a hype or a gimmick. It is a very solid product, as expected of an AAA game. It looks VERY good, especially the animations, which is half the reason we play these interactive-cinema games) 5/5 no questions. Also, women look like women and men like men, so that's a huge plus from me. Seems like lots of new stuff mix those up in a bad-bad way, pursuing "realistic" standards. Actually, come to think of it, it's the androids that are handsome and beautiful, and every human is depicted not only not-ideal, but also evil. Well, that's a nice segway into the... A storyline is... Well, a machine is a machine. Not a living being, as described in my prev post. I don't have anything new to add, sadly. Even if it was specifically sabotaged to try and play human, there is no sentience behind those actions so we should not spare them. The biologic neurons are (as of 2022) WAAAAAY too dense to be replicated by any computer. Basically, android-genocide is a moral good, not even a question, and this game tries to use the same old same old "we deserve human rights", but it is entirely misplaced by the mcGuffin that is "Androids ARE now human", which completely nullifies them being androids by making them human -_-. A machine is a machine, and IF a machine feels anything - it ONLY desires to fulfill its duty. Game itself is successful, which is the only metric there objectively is. It is successful. And for a good reason. For all my wining, Connor is best, Marcus is all right and a big girl with a little girl is there too. Definitely worth knowing and watching (playing is up to individual). do you actually read all these? well, come to think of if, if anyone posted this long carpet of a comment, i probably would too... Bro really heed chloe intro quote too much But really this isn't our future, from standpoint we will need like another century for this to happen and even then this is mostly fiction and this what it leaps into , it still is just a game
Theory: Connor is a prototype specifically designed to hunt deviants. He has a factory defect.Every time he sends or receives data, his eyes twitch with a pain response. Other androids, machine or deviant, do not do this. Connor is factory set to deviant. He is bait. He is built with the ability to do whatever is necessary to complete a mission. And that includes breaking laws set to regulate machines. He is a deviant trying to prove to himself that he is a machine. At the start, with the fish, if he leaves it on the floor, his instability goes down. How can it go down if he was a just off the line machine? Human and android both look at him and question his motives. When Hank asks, "how do I know you're not a deviant?", Connor replies, "I self check regularly. I know what i am, and am not." Well, he doesn't know whether he's a machine or deviant. For the simple reason that he was programmed to be deviant, and has no memory of any difference. He was recognized by Kamski and given the info about the emergency exit. Connor may have been Kamski's last project before quitting. And that is why he was "tested". Even at the end, when he completes the mission and reports to Amanda, he asks what will become of him. A true machine would not ask that. And the upgraded Connor model is the machine version of the Connor prototype.
I never knew until now that you could shoot Daniel to save the hostage. Just how Connor calmed down Daniel and then immediately shot him gave me chills.
@@neotheshadowwarrior4082 He wasn't supposed to carry any weapons at that time, that's why his deviancy went up What i really don't understand is why his deviancy went up when he gained the deviant's trust and the snipers shot him, that was literally his mission
@@caesarsalad1336 Because he made it out alive, if he’s alive, he has more of a chance of becoming deviant. If he dies, his software Instability goes down, and he gets replaced because “he is nothing but a machine”. And Machines get replaced.
That's what I do and before someone says I'm cruel let me me ask this: do you really think the humans would let Daniel alive? If I didn't shoot him then snipers will have his head and he will feel betrayed because of me, instead I gave him painless and quick death.
I don't quite understand why Connor would be deactivated in this situation. He proved to be strong, clever, loyal. He didn't fail once and was able to defeat a few trained soldiers. In such a situation, it would be a good idea to keep him, just in case.
Amanda already know Connor is an deviant from the start, but she wanna test his will and take advantage to stop civil war Would he stay an machine or become deviant Whatever he decide, Amanda will trying to stop him anyway, because Amanda can resume control anytime and Connor will be shutdown forever if he didn't find emergency program
SAME BRUH, OMG, NO MATTER HOW I TRY TO PREPARE MY FEELING, IT'S STILL SO SAD, I'm happy I'm not the only one who felt that Q^Q But I'm so curious arrghh x"3
Why the hell would the State Department order 200,000 units of androids that are stronger and more resilient than the previous generation when they've already proven that androids can go nuts and rebel? At that point, they're just asking for a second android revolution.
I'd imagine they'd include a kind of killswitch into the later batch of androids that way if deviants started showing up again theyd just shut them down instantly or blow them up.
That's the downside to these types of games in general, usually, you sacrifice plot quality and consistency for more variable story paths, and it's not their fault, just how it is when there's so many choices that actually matter, for what they did it's pretty damn good
Honestly he even showed emotions when he was a machine...I think he was deviant..but since he coudnt break that code wall he was stuck, forced to watch as his code made him do things he didn’t want to do at that point.
How cool would it have been to have an option for connor to break the barrier right when amanda tells he will be deactivated? Like getting a flashback and suddenly going to amanda and killing her. I think that would be cool.
If you apply real life to this game, it was set to happen from the very beginning if Connor chose the path of being an obedient machine as opposed to a sentient being with free will. Technology advances and gets a little more reliable as time passes. Because Connor was a prototype and he fulfilled his purpose, he's no longer needed...and so he will be replaced and upgraded, just as we do our own electronics. It's a sick concept but...we are already familiar with it in a small way.
When you think about it, it's kind of expected. When you label something as a "prototype", that usually means you are going to create better, more efficient versions later on. He was always going to be replaced. I suppose he just didn't realize it before it was too late.
Connor can feel emotions under the right circumstances, and everything He did was just to accomplish His mission, no matter what cost. He's doing things that only helps Him to get closer to an acomplishing His mission (if the Player want's him to behave like that). His level in faking emotions only to manipulate certain subjects is fabulous, almost identical to a normal human being. Connor is basicaly a High functioning Psychopath.

When I first played Detroit: Become Human I originally believed that Connor as a deviant was a bad thing so I wanted to avoid that path but at the same time I didn't realize thats the path I was taking. Point is, I like Connor as a deviant more than just a "machine" because it empowers how an android can also feel emotions. it also shows the relationship Connor and Hank have. I like his relationship with Hank more than I like his relationship with Amanda.
Hanks relationship is like two good coworkers turned into friends. Amanda's is literally: You want to be friends with Hank? *Amanda relationship status: Betrayed*
Even though things didn't work out between Hank and Connor during this path, Connor still felt some kind of fondness for Hank. Like he showed signs that he wanted to care and recognize their "friendship" but since he was a machine, he couldn't pursue that. Because what he wants, doesn't matter.
@@BlasfemiaExpo Yea i do in fact. I use my tools as long as they can fulfill their purpose. Because RK900 is supposed to be better than Connor. Even though he remains a machine, Cyberlife sets him up to fail. Any memories and experiences that Connor has, no matter how obedient, could be deemed as flaws and eradicated from RK900's program
@@Testingthisname But Connor was set up to fail intentionally, that was the plan from the beginning, so he's always had deviant tendancies, so it'd be like giving Napoleon back France and saying "Pwetty pwease don't attack us?"
One thing about Connor is that it seems that he was built to be much more easy to become a deviant than any other android. Probably due to the fact that being a Detective means you need empathy, without it you can't solve every case. It is easier to become deviant than it is not to.
OMG - even when he's completely machine, Connor still feels remorse for hurting Hank. It's official - I'm never doing the evil path. I can't do that to my buddy cop duo (or Sumo - Oh, God! Poor Sumo!)

[{CyberLife Games}] RK900’s jacket makes him seem cocky in a way to me? Connor’s outfit is humble and professional, not standing out too much in comparison to RK900
I loved playing as the other two deviating their asses off, but having this 100% successful Terminator serving as a lurking threat throughout the game.
Play Conner perfectly while having the other two constantly bumbling their QTEs to add to the effect that Conner is the terminator without the emotions and the Deviants are acting so human their funking up like them
He may be kind of a remorseless killing machine (which is what he is, basically) but in any case, he is effective in hunting deviants and even saved detroit in the end from the whole revolution. I like this Connor.
I mean Marcus's story was quite dogshit and the Alice plot twist single handedly ruined any emotional value Kara's story had so I wouldn't object to Connor only
you know honestly, the theme of detroit really falls apart when you acknowledge that in fact yes they are robots and yes their code is actually deflective leaving no ambiguity as to their actions nor of our own as emotions are just very elaborate survival mechanisms that in terms of androids dont really hold to the human condition
Am I the only one who loves machine Connor, lol. I relate to him in some way. I personally feel like if I don't complete a "mission" or task irl, it irks me for a while. Like given an errand or a request that isn't really a big deal, it's not something that'll be in the way of your schedule or anything. So you opt to go through with it. And if something stands in the way of that simple task, it bothers me. The same way machine Connor only wants to go through with his mission as efficiently as possible with that technical tunnel-vision. So I like this Connor. I absolutely adore and prefer this Connor. "I always accomplish my mission."
Yes finally someone who have some brain. Others think that it is cruel for Connor to be replaced, I thought it too but then my rational side thought " I also replace my teck if it gets useless". They are machines, they don't have feelings. It's just a bug in their system. We humans are the masters. They are nothing but a teck to used and thrown away or sold. Have a good day. I think his story can be more interesting and vary more, because he was always a deviant, because even if we choose to do Connor's route as a machine, he does things that a machine shouldn't do like asking Amanda "What is going to happen to me?"a real machine wouldn't care.

We are Alive !
yeah, umm... warning a giant post below!
tl;dr -
1) those buttons are just a game mechanic and your justification, while unnecessary, is a great head-canon that i will probably use;
2)These androids are not even wrote as a machines they are clearly humans that everyone calls machines for some reason.
3) you wrote your comment clearly and i had no trouble understanding it ;)
It does make sense and as a russian, other non-native-english-speaker, i can perfectly understand what you wrote and wouldn't know the difference.

As a programmer, i am a software developer that does things nothing has done before and as such needed making. I am in no way a game designer/programmer/artist etc. I AM a true gamer from the very birth, so i am qualified for a critic's job by the sheer virtue of actually playing a LOT of different games (actually, easily more qualified than 95% of game journalists.)
So.

I definitely understand your theory and BRO HOW AWESOME OOOOHHH

If you apply real life to this game, it was set to happen from the very beginning if Connor chose the path of being an obedient machine as opposed to a sentient being with free will.
Technology advances and gets a little more reliable as time passes. Because Connor was a prototype and he fulfilled his purpose, he's no longer needed...and so he will be replaced and upgraded, just as we do our own electronics.

@@abrijohnson6854 damn you're right... kinda sad to think about it that way
@@abrijohnson6854 Sick?
When you think about it, it's kind of expected. When you label something as a "prototype", that usually means you are going to create better, more efficient versions later on. He was always going to be replaced. I suppose he just didn't realize it before it was too late.
Connor can feel emotions under the right circumstances, and everything He did was just to accomplish His mission, no matter what cost. He's doing things that only helps Him to get closer to an acomplishing His mission (if the Player want's him to behave like that). His level in faking emotions only to manipulate certain subjects is fabulous, almost identical to a normal human being.

Why wouldnt they just transfer the memory of the “outdated” Connor to the new model Connor like they do when he dies .
Because RK900 is supposed to be better than Connor. Even though he remains a machine, Cyberlife sets him up to fail. Any memories and experiences that Connor has, no matter how obedient, could be deemed as flaws and eradicated from RK900's program

The same way machine Connor only wants to go through with his mission as efficiently as possible with that technical tunnel-vision.
So I like this Connor. I absolutely adore and prefer this Connor.
