Excellent reference on how to descale. Every 3 descales I use plain water to run through the process of the machine and the 4th I use the chemical liquid sold by Nespresso. During the 4th cycle, once the chemical descale has gone through and finished, I then repeat the process just with water to properly flush out the chemical liquid. @ 16 bucks a pop for the Nespresso descaling stuff, it works for me. I'm in Sydney were the water is considered soft.

Turn on machine and fit descaling pipe to milk outlet. (Pipe stored in fold down flap in front of milk container stand) Once the descaling cycle finishes which takes a long time as the machine starts and stops throughout the cycle so just let it do its thing. Secondly once it finishes descaling fill water tank to max and during the flush cycle add 300mls more water. The machine measures how much water passes through and obviously not calibrated for just the 1 litre tank capacity. This should reset the descale light once it finishes. Others have mentioned the light did not go off after the full cycle using the instructions above so use the instructions for the water hardness settings and set it to lowest setting then you can reset it later. I have not experienced this problem so can't guarantee it???

Eu já gastei os dois líquidos porque achei que tinha feito mal pk a luz não apagou fiz novamente .não sei o que fiz de errado pois a luz ainda não apagou e já gastei as duas embalagens de descalsificacao
Me paso igual l descalcifique y me siguió saliendo la luz Naranja parpadea nuevamente y no se quita lo hice solo con agua ya no tiene garantía alguien le pasó igual ? La desconecte y espere pero sigue igual

I can’t seem to open the compartment with the descaling tap. I feel like mine doesn’t have a compartment there. Any ideas? Should I just yank it super hard? Or did they put the tap somewhere else in newer machines? I bought mine about 6 months ago.
Our machine is new. Did first descaling. The descaling light went away. But now when I try to use it, all lights are blinking for some time and then the machine switches off. We are in India and there is no service centre here. Could you help please to rectify this? I did descaling exactly like you showed with the Nespresso descaling liquid.
My first descaling broke the machine just like your experience..it was fixed at service center under warranty..the tech said don’t use it immediately after descaling so I just did second descaling after 3 yrs and unplugged machine and let it rest for 10 minutes and it worked normally!
It took about 6 months before it lighted up. Maybe it is a question of frequency of use? So far, I have descaled 3 times in almost 2 years. Kindly subscribe to my channel!
Hi there. Wondering if you can help. I have a Lattissima One which I bought already stuck in descaling mode and no matter which button I press on the top, the machine does not respond at all. All three lights blink on the top, indicating it's in descaling mode, but no matter what I do, the machine will not run. Any ideas?

Estranho, até fazendo o processo só com água a luz deveria apagar. Acho que vale entrar em contato com a Nespresso

You must rinse the water tank with warm water and soap and the refill with fresh cold water to ensure you remove all traces of solution

If your machine looks like mine, it’s there. Open at the top. Flap down.

I think you should be able to. Try it with water first.

@@bharathsanna the problem is not solved yet. But I was so frustrated and I just discarded the machine, about Rs.50,000/ gone down the drain!!
