Why was MM ignored? I can understand its not a spellcaster, but it is a ranged that does physical damage. Is that the caveat that made you guys ignore it? Is it really not as good as the three casters you did go over?
@@UnleashedOdinV2 The most important PvP player probably ever, went rank 1 in pvp with a spec that was considered weak and ended up having that spec nerfed even though everyone besides him thought it was trash. He committed suicide recently.
The arms warrior Def stance intervene ignore pain spell reflect interface... What is that? WeakAura? Or another addon? Can somebody help me set this up like that? I like it a lot.

Thx for your answer, but except if you did a survey, i'm pretty sure that the only person that you are representing by saying "no one really care", is yourself. So you should say instead: " I don't care about bgs" :). About Skilled Capped they are not defined as doing only content for arena, actually they did a video about bg and solo pvp recently and considering the absurde amout of very positiv review and comment on it, I think you are wrong and people care about bgs :) But that just my opinion, i'm not pretenting to represent all the community as you did.
It is indeed. I want it to work but it is to difficult snd stressfull for me. I think this class only work woth special addons and macro's. It is just to much for me sadly.
@@stabilozz lol no, it just takes a little practice to switch targets constantly. but if you want a bit help use @targettarget,exists macros for your offensive spells and you then can just press the ability (smite, mindblast, solace, Purge the wicked, etc) without switching to a enemytarget
I play rogue and also have a shadow priest. rogue is high damage and sub is the more difficult out of the 3 specs it's heavily reliant on shadow dance but the burst is there it's just that you don't have a whole lot of sustain. An example would be if you fought a ret paladin if you can't kill them through your stuns (since you'll always have the first strike) they will easily bubble and heal and usually you're fucked after that. Shadow priest however you have the ability to kite and heal since you do have minor dots. It all depends on what you want because I enjoy doing high damage with rogue I just hate that I can't heal or fight multiple targets often.
Everything thinks with the burst it can out put currently that its going to be nerfed. Its got good burst and sustain in pvp and a decent tool kit for it. Overall its very viable atm. So viable in fact that it might be to viable. Which is weird in a world where sub rogues and warriors exists. Who knows though. Some of this is probably related to the fact its been shit for a while so everyone thinks its to good now. Hell I think its a bit to good damage wise and I want it to viable.
@@tingmann If you want to get better at hunter then why not chase after one of the greats? If you are prepared to invest time in arena then you should be prepared to learn from the best🙂
Are Frost Mages still viable as a good main to pick into SL, even after all the latest nerfs to damage? And is Venthyr the top PvP covenant or Kyrian as the Kyrian conduit is shown in the video? On another note, thank you for the amazing content and guides! You guys are doing an awesome job!
I heard affli dots themselves are passively healed through and damage only comes from MR, which only does chip damage. Affli is more of an annoying than a damage dealer. Thoughts?
Yo @skillcapped. Im not sure if i want to main Rdruid or Rsham. (PVP only) You said sham struggles into melee cleaves. I dont enjoy using feral afinity on my Druid and it looks like all good druids definatly use feral in 2's. What is going to be easier to pick up and climb with. Playing with a warrior
They are amazing, my main is MM hunter but I'm foreseeing a nerf in the future. Which is largely ironic because the nerf is in regards to their burst damage, on mythic 0s. Usual meta slaves like Spriest and Outlaw aren't happy to have a new contender
@@jacobbrackett3568 MM might be gimmicky "garbage" in arenas but both BM and Surv are middle of the pack /decent specs. Also MM can be incredibly stupid if you get just a touch of luck and double aimed shot crit.
Me and my friend is going to run Priest and Monk in shadowlands, but we are arguing on what combanation should we take in 2v2，Displine/windwalker，shadow/windwalker, or shadow/Mistweaver, what is your opinion?

Hey Skill Capped, possible great idea for a vid. Sometime between now and launch day maybe you could release a vid that goes over every class/spec combination and giving your research thoughts on the best Covenant to take and then a secondary if people just don't like the best one (for people who wanna excell but also follow a certain RP style to their game.). That way, all specs get some love because with as big as WOW is not everyone is going to play the listed spec/classes you've detailed thus far.
New to arena and trying to plan out comps for shadowlands. Between sub,ww, spriest, affliction what comps make sense? Is sub worse if it doesn’t have a mage to help with setups? Healer is most likely playing mist weaver but not sure yet.
Affliction does look good but what do we do agianst mm sub rogue where indie without doing any damage at all also what covenants look good im so lost on the pvp side of covenants
I'm thinking about returning to game, but I guess I'll wait for spriests and rogues to be balanced. How can they give priests so much utility and damage at the same time? It has been usually one or the other in the past.
fury now is about low damage, but good survivability. It is ok for a PVE, but in PVP fury doesn't have enough damage to kill anyone. So, you can play fury, you'll be some kind of "immortal" warrior but arms is more much powerful now.
At the Affliction part you forgot to mention Chanimal keeps yelling at his screen because Affliction is squishy AF and might be a free win for every melee-team in Shadowlands season 1!
I super want to see Aff be a top-end viable spec in SL but I don't foresee it happening in S1, unfortunately.. Too many overtuned melee to have a glorified punching-bag spec be this squishy. Hopefully they sort it out by S2.
Easy to pick up, difficult to master, theres is no secret for the dps, just dot everything and use devouring plague when you have the insanity, however the utility part of the spec demands a higher skillcap
Those arms warriors won't be using all that utility when the match starts and they get focused down, melted, gg. Ignore pain and that first spell reflect won't save you.
@@Fseb-uj1ih with PvE trinker nerfs youre taking A LOT of frontload damage out of classes giving a more cc based gameplay, hit ccs for kill phases, try to bait ints and trinkets. Most of the time in PvP during BFA with tire maledict or drest you could run in and literally one shot before someone even knew what was happening. Every rogue opens with Sap so imagine sap drest tire aimed shots rapid fire cold blood eviscerate all that within a 2 to 3 seconds can kill a player.

I dont think people listened to your suggestions here regarding mage. I have been thinking for a while that maybe the frost spec was removed from the game or something, considering the amount of fire mages and arcane mages I see lol. Frost is definately the less popular spec. I'm sure you are right in why it is good though! Just sharing an observation 8-)
This video was creating using the beta where most mages played frost. Fire is definetly the best spec now and we're updating this video tomorrow to clarify that.
@@foxtroth5092 Rank 2 KM will be so fun for huge Obliterates. It's not even comparable to what it is now in prepatch. KM procs go through armor as Frost dmg and it scales with mastery in SL. Combine that with Necrolord ability + Chill streak and it will melt people. It should be fun, even though I wouldn't say top tier but definitely more playable than BfA Frost aka Chill streak bot with other overnerfed abilities doing zero dmg. Probably not as good as Unholy tho and also it's missing any MS effect with Necrotic being exclusive to Unholy, so I hope Frost will bring huge burst at least. WW + Frost combo looks amazing for example.
I played Paladins for 15 years think it's time to try a warrior or shadowpriest simply due to being burnt out on pal. I mainly wpvp and bg with friends what would yall suggest? Also would a Void Elf be a smart pick if i tried Priest?
Based on what you said, shadow priest. I think it was a video by Stoopz that rates warriors a 4/10 for solo que in BG/wpvp and duels. It was due to their lack of self sustain and reliable heals.
Afflict is ridiculously good in arenas atm.... what are you talking about lol. Destro was good during all of BFA, now it's afflicts turn. that's kind've how blizz works if you haven't noticed.

@@brokerxiii4221 Ice lance is a big part of frosts damage in arenas because typically your on the move and not just spamming frost bolts. The 10% nerf to ie Hit extra hard for arena. On a pve side IE is around 50% of your damage so this is at least a overall 5% damage nerf.
@@Yokazz but is mm good in 2s?? i think survival is superior, at least in 2s. too much LOS and the enemy putting pressure on you all the time, not to mention that you need more help as mm to land traps.
@@dariollanos MM is good with Disc coze pressure, but LOS is a big thing in 2s. You need as MM the Anti LOS covenent anyways so its rlly doable... with MM you can even play doule dps comps like Ret/MM or ProtPaladin/mm or Sub/MM
Awesome videos but some constructive criticism...Please consider removing the background music while you are going through explaining each class. The bass from the music is extremely distracting in my opinion. Just a thought. Keep up the great content.
not sure if you've seen it, but the changes to DH utility and defensive capabilities made it so it just flops in the current beta state - pretty much any class can kill you through your defensives. Fingers crossed for some changes though, this sucks

Every ranged class in this vid is better than marksman if MM is OP so are they. Double tap is good. Outside of that CD it's a mediocre pvp spec.

mm will be horrible in arena's. they are only medicore now and if they get nerfed they will suck hard just like they always do

Isn't the resto shaman honor talent in combination with hex being 20 sec CD really strong? With the honor talent Hex is just as spammable as poly.

What about fury warrior? I tried arms warrior and got to inpatient with all the cooldowns. Can a fury warrior do anywhere near as good in arena?
not really. Lack of healing debuff. Lack of same AoE dmg. all it really has over arms is self healing..

nah... in bfa guardian druids were somewhat capable of climbing to almost 2k rating, but I dont remember anything else.

Probably not as good as Unholy tho and also it's missing any MS effect with Necrotic being exclusive to Unholy, so I hope Frost will bring huge burst at least. WW + Frost combo looks amazing for example.
I played Paladins for 15 years think it's time to try a warrior or shadowpriest simply due to being burnt out on pal. I mainly wpvp and bg with friends what would yall suggest? Also would a Void Elf be a smart pick if i tried Priest?
Based on what you said, shadow priest. I think it was a video by Stoopz that rates warriors a 4/10 for solo que in BG/wpvp and duels. It was due to their lack of self sustain and reliable heals.

Destro was good during all of BFA, now it's afflicts turn. that's kind've how blizz works if you haven't noticed.

he only mentioned S tier specs (the top of the top), DK is still above average in arena and a strong pick (A tier).

Their damage is decent but they die quite easily against good comps.

@@brokerxiii4221 Ice lance is a big part of frosts damage in arenas because typically your on the move and not just spamming frost bolts. The 10% nerf to ie Hit extra hard for arena. On a pve side IE is around 50% of your damage so this is at least a overall 5% damage nerf.

its better with Disc but yes, druid is the second best Hunter healer
@@Yokazz but is mm good in 2s?? i think survival is superior, at least in 2s. too much LOS and the enemy putting pressure on you all the time, not to mention that you need more help as mm to land traps.
@@dariollanos MM is good with Disc coze pressure, but LOS is a big thing in 2s. You need as MM the Anti LOS covenent anyways so its rlly doable... with MM you can even play doule dps comps like Ret/MM or ProtPaladin/mm or Sub/MM

not sure if you've seen it, but the changes to DH utility and defensive capabilities made it so it just flops in the current beta state - pretty much any class can kill you through your defensives. Fingers crossed for some changes though, this sucks

Shadow Priest is my new main, it was going to be Havoc DH, but they fucked it up.
Been having a lot of fun with my Sub Rogue.
That rogues UI.... you really only need 15% of your screen visible anyway.
