Well easy answer is data mining. The ones I don't get are the riddle ones like the ones where you have to do a bunch in things in a certain order or way and they're all concluded and things you wouldnt think to do or places you wouldnt think to go and then you get the mount.
Got really lucky with the Arboreal Gulper. I ended up skipping the entire process and just went to the area where Humon'gozz spawns in hopes of finding a group already doing it but ended up finding the Humon'gozz already spawned. I'm not sure why since there was no body unless they gave up but I ended up soloing it for about 15 minutes and got it. Super happy to have ended my night with the mount solo'd

shadowlands is so mount generous! I got next to nothing in BFA, but here in a day I got two unicorns, a gladeworm, a frog, wildseed cradle, and a bound warhound from a maldrax mob, felt like I was just shitting mounts, and they're actually decent mounts too! :D

Yea.... I'm on a full pop server and have been playing pretty nonstop since release. Haven't had a login queue yet. So far I've done a mythic world tour and have hit ilvl 181.
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but speeding it and twirling the camera didn't help. I had to pause several times, go back, look again, especially on the maze, because it was very confusing - you said for example left but you looked right and then twirled the camera. Then it seemed like there as even part of it cut off when you said far right. Edit: now I know why it's like that, because I saw the unsped version and you were showing people that there are wrong lanterns. But here, that looks extremely confusing because you are looking at ALL the doors. Maybe mention and link the longer version?
Happy I chose my hunter to be my main and first one through, and also that she'll be Night Fae as planned. Thanks for this guide, lots of mounts I want to get from it. I saw Sundancer today, really gorgeous rare, can't wait to get the mount from it. I'll look forward to your guide that features it.
edit for the swiftgloom hoof. you do not need to be night fae. once you have the item required to be turned into the Dream Catcher from ysera. All you must do as a non night fae covenant is go to the heart of the forest and speak to an NPC gaurd and "request and audience with Ysera"
You don't need to be night fae for the Nightmare mount. You can just ask Yseras guards for an audience and she will come out and enchant the web for you.
The Sunrunner in bastion is easy as well if you have 1-2 friends to help and you mount him. Course you need a few things but it’s a guarantee drop for the one who mounts him
Relating to the Swift Gloomhoff: Not sure if this is a change from beta to launch, but I didn't need to use the second goblin glider kit to get to the platform; I was able to walk along the narrow ledge to get to the cart. I did this on my hunter, so no special abilities to do this. Not that big of a deal, just pointing out the difference from the video. And thanks for the video; helped me get a couple of mounts so far.
Add the map coords for those videos, they help a lot (not even needed to say what they are, just have it on a corner with an addon, it does go a long way)
Quick tip for Night Mare: you don't have to be part of Night Fae. Talk to the guard outside the entrance of the Heart of the Forest to call for Ysera and she'll make the Dream catcher. I did this on my first lvl 60 as part of the kyrian.
Just an FYI for anyone who wants the Gloomhoof mount, YOU DO NOT have to be Night Fae to get the mount. You just have to talk to the guards outside of Heart of the Forest and Ysera will come talk to you.
for the Swift Gloomhoof you dont need to be night fae you get the item and go and talk to elite queenguard to get ysera to come outside to fix the item and then you have the dream catcher^^
(For Shimmer Mist Runner mount) The start pathway marker doesn't really start as shown on this map. It actually starts further up the hill - perpendicular to red mark at the start of this map. There's usually a rare elite that paths that hill. Just hug the side hill so you don't aggro him. At the top there are 2 blue lights. I did try a few times to activate the mount spawn using this map - it didn't work so I looked up another source and his starting area begins up the hill. Hopefully this helps.
Got the Spinemaw Gladechewer by accident I was doing that "Terrors of Tirna Scithe" World Quest for valor and someone got the rare to spawn, I saw the star marker on the map and went ahead and got the mount. To be honest I completely forgot this mount even existed before I looked at the loot and saw the mount.
The original intent was for me to be showing the different doors to highlight their lamps on the side to show the difference between them and the correct blue ones but sped up it didn't hit that mark unfortunately
Upon exiting Oaken area to where Valfir spawns here are the directions for every intersection you come to starting at the intersection just past Valfir spawn. Left, right, left, right, straight, left. You'll also here a drumbeat for each correct arch you pass.
If you get ony of these mouns, do you have to be level 60 to be able to learn them? I got the arborial gulper with some freinds and it dropped for me, tried Learning it by clicking on it in my inv and it wouldn't let me learn it, I'm only level 58 whereas they are all 60
The way your camera is moving compared to your audible directions makes this verrrry which path to take especially the final two in my opinion. Still thanks for the help!

not sure if they patched it but the mushroom for shimmermist doesnt work, tried it three times and mobs seemed to aggro to me from the same distance as usual
For the Gloomhoof I didnt know if I had completed it yet, so I checked the quest names on Wowhead, and ran the command for each questname if it had been completed and it would respond with either "True" or "False" in the chat. Finished the questline, and boom, mount. Thanks, Syiler! Edit: When one said false, I went to that NPC and checked if the NPC had the quest still An Example of the command is: /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(57653)), which is the quest : "Unsafe Workplace", as well as where I left off. Good luck to those who had this same issue, heres and easy fix for it if you forgot where you left it off. *I didnt have it in my quest log so I had to do this hahah* Please Pin this, I hope it helps others!

Wasnt able to test most of them but earlier in testing was able to loot the Arboreal Gulper. Most of the rares listed though wont scale to youre level so will be even more difficult to defeat while leveling

As much as i lost my shit on the part with the maze as i got confused, i got 5 of them in like 3 hours (not even kidding, the one where you need to farm a mob to spawn chompy and then the actual rare took like 15 minutes after i joined a 40 man raid, who was accompanied by another alliance 40 man raid, shit got insanely messy server wise, but it worked), so thanks for the guide Also the red horse is on it's way as well.
you dont need to be nightfae to get the swift gloomhoof, there is a guard you can talk to and he will get yarsa to come out and you can talk to her to make a the dreamcatcher
anybody for the shimmermist runner, just follow the gates with the blue lanterns and kill all the adds in the room, he might call ads to aid him in battle which which drastly change the battle
Wasn't something I was really able to test unfortunately. The Arboreal Gulper was when I tried that. People have aid that the Cradle also is but I havent tried

You can get this shards during questing I found one by accident while questing in bastion and it worked.
I got my unusually large mushroom at the end of a dungeon. At the last boss which was a huge fat wormlike boss.

i follow the guide for shimmermist correctly everytime, and it fails but then i walk back to do it again and it keeps phasing, but im not sure what im doing wrong, is there a time i have to wait for it to reset?

abt the swift gloomhoof: im pretty sure i already did the both quest chains , and the lady that gives me the quest has no more quest for me but yet the npc is not where its in the video. can someone help? the only quest i have active in ardenweald is "silence in the stalks". night fae covenant lvl 60. 04.12.2020

It's a world skill for revendreth, if u pick it as ur covenant, ull get it forever
To unlock the Swift Gloomhoof you don't need to be Nightfae. Just talk to a guard at Heart of the Forest and Ysera will come out. Good Luck
