The video was great. I wouldn’t change a thing. I personally liked the view over the motor. Being able to follow along with what you were doing without the camera being moved a million different times. I also liked seeing your daughters helping. Just shows how much you love your kids and how much they love you. Much respect to you.
This looks like a puddins fab shop truck! Can't wait for that collaboration! Good luck with your new channel ,glad I found you here, and can't wait to see where this goes! Godspeed!
yup
Agreed. Puddin and his buddy Slick 50 would be jealous of that Luv
I was thinking the same thing He has an excellent channel
Don't like to see you fix it up and sell it more cuz you'll get more money if you see if you fix it up more
Yeah like to see you do the part 2 on that truck and I can see you fixed it up pretty nice and making it run good I can see you making more money out of it if you fix it up and selling it for like $1,000 or
I had a 1979 Chevy LUV 4X4 in high school and luved it. It was an awesome truck and I miss it. This is a great project. Keep up the great work.
I'm definitely a fan of the channel, can't wait to watch you guys grow. Good luck with the channel
What a great little truck, there’s not many of those left. Great content and I can’t wait to see you all keep wrenching.
I had a 78 luv 2wd black. Sure miss that truck. Was probably top ten favorite vehicle I've ever owned. Thanks for sharing.
Does remind me of puddins fad shop truck. I had a new one for about six months when I was T-boned. Fun little rig.
Great to see you working with your kid. More father/daughter projects please.
I think your children are having the time of their life and will have great stories of a fathers love to share with their own family. You must have married very well.
My grandfather bought a 79 Luv 4wheel drive. It was so much fun..
He had me hauling firewood and driving him everywhere.
I'd love to have that time back. Great memories😁😁
I wedged a 327 into a 2wd model, added a ford rear end, and drove it for 14 years. Really LUV'ed that truck!
these old ''japanese'' 4x4 trucks are acually alot of fun to drive and alot more capable than people give them credit for. would be cool to see the luv beeing fixed up and given the luv it deserve :) maybe some kind of offroad/cruiser build. it would also be a good first truck for someone in need :)
Those little kei trucks are neat, but they're often $5k+ minimum as they're all imported.
As this LUV is 4 wheel drive, I'd say it's pretty rare. Me? I'd keep going and get it runnin' and stoppin'!. But you do you man, I think it's cool as hell. Keep on keepin' on!
Get it roadworthy and some shine and flip it! Roll the funds towards the next big project and take care of those girls! Our family will be watching!
I owned a 76 stepside luv truck. Baby blue with pinstripes and Turbine wheels. It was a $1500 badass.
Cameron tboned it to death.
Love this!
I love seeing the Chevy Luv. You don't see many of them anymore. I took my driver license test in a 1980 Chevy Luv back in 1983. Love the Chanel, keep the videos coming.
Glad to see the kids out there learn with you 👍dad
Hell yes, finish the Luv.
Keep sharing the LUV. Not a big LUV fan but it would be great to see it all cleaned up and back on the road. Congrats on the channel, looking forward to seeing your subscriber numbers grow and the projects you and the girls get into.
Awesome to the kids get involved.
Your videos are definitely gonna be on my “Must Watch” list. I wouldn’t change anything YOU don’t wanna change, I’m one of many that’s giving 2 thumbs up to you .. 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My vote is to make it safe, roadworthy, I'd love to see you all clean it up!
To each their own but something I won’t watch on any channel is them washing a car or truck. That is as boring as watching paint dry, to me. A before and after is cool but the actual wash, not my cup a tea
@@Robrt32 I agree with ya there. I never understood what the interest was with that. Thought I was the only one that felt that way.
Nice to see the kids getting involved they will be able to work on their own vehicles when they get older
I remember working on Chevy luvs in my younger days. The brakes were a little bit of a funny design as I remember.Great job keep it up .
Another great one Garth! It's good to see you have supervisors present.. LOL I wasn't aware of your give away, but I'll tell you anyway. My first car? 1962 Chevy Biscayne. The old 6 banger was shot, so a buddy and I cobbled together a 327, tossed on an old Quadra Jet moved the shifter to the floor, added roughly 655 pounds of bondo and several rattle cans of black paint. I was MOBILE !! LOL
That's awesome,u n the girls are building the channel
You can't stop now you got to get it back on the road, I had a friend back in high-school that had three of these luvs great trucks
Garth love the channel so far. U should get a gopro so u can show up close what u guys are doing as you're doing it. Check out puddin's fab shop. It's my fav show. He's done a love before but he always does his stuff up close while he's workin. That way it's more of a teaching thing. Still u do great work my friend. Keep it up and thanks.
One of my sister’s best friends had a LUV, back in the day. It was a yellow 2wd model with a manual shift. Fun little truck!
Great videos......LOVE to see family involved.....AND ,yall are fellow TEXANS..............cant wait to see more videos.............take care
Brother you did great. First wrenching video, you did great. I know they are just going to get better. I can believe how good the video is. Usually channels that have been around a decade that have this level. Thabk you brother.
Great revival! Wouldn't mind seeing the old gal cleaned up.
Love your work. Your "little one" is so cute! Keep up the good work!
Truly you did a great job. I found the video moved with an even flow and you explained everything well. i enjoyed it
I vote for bringing it around. Get it cleaned up and ready for the road.
Wow I really like the luv .
I have a silver 2wd one 4 wheel drive and one 4wd lifted with a small block Chevy in it I hope someone some day will be interested in them .
I drove a luv for 18 years they are great
little trucks.
Best of luck on it 👍
I would love to see it polished with good brakes 😎
Glad to see I'm not the only one that puts antics on plug and extra. I also find it funny that someone put a trailer brake controller in a chevy luv.
Give the little luv some love! And show more of your work you will pick up more prescribers
Just started watching! Saw a link fron the VGG fan page, followed the link, and waalaa, there you are. Subscribed instantly! Love the fact that your daughters help out. That's old school wrenching! I'm an old guy that can't wrench anymore, hands don't work right, but love watching folks do it old school.
I'll be watching all your videos.
Love the little LUV chevy's, they were a unique part of Chevy history! Good luck with the channel... I'm rooting for you!
Great video. My opinion is to continue with coolant flush, brakes, & good cleaning and make a little cash for the next one. This will sell fast.
I'm in that truck god bless you brother
I owned one that year. Never got stuck in the mud. Just skates over everything.
She turns over clean , no hunting or stumbling. And fires right off . Glad I found you channel. Gonna be one of the great ones . Awesome to see the youngins taking an interest in the old iron. Would mind seeing you continue on with this truck , but anxious to see what’s next.
Bring that LUV, back to life, brother
Love chevy luvs
Don't worry too much about what others think ... it's YOUR channel so you do you bruh . Love all the content so far so keep up the good work 🤘🤘🤘🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
I'm loving this channel. I'd kinda like to see you go all the way with the Luv, I can't wait to see the other projects too, but I feel like the Luv needs a bit more luv!
I tried doing this myself with my daughter and a '79 F100 I rescued from a farm. I didn't get very far with the videos because its a heck of a lot harder making them than it seems so great job so far, I know its tough. Keep with it, looks like you have plenty of content there to keep yourself busy, and us watching!
I love too have it as is, hands down
I love how you fit all this in one video. I hate when RUclipsrs make like 5 videos instead of doing it like you. Enjoying your channel!👍
A buddy of mine had this exact truck back in the day. Same color, 4WD, manual, it was a great little truck. Love the channel! I think you should finish fixing up the truck!
Stoked for your first real video. 🙂🙂
Good job! Y'all will do great and go far! Enjoying life 😁
Very good video, thank you. Please stop apologizing for being a beginner, you will naturally get better as you go along. Your approach and personality will do well n this format, I think you will have tons of subscribers in no time.
Your doing a great job don't worry you where your heart on your sleeve it will come to I think you will do a great job
Great job on your first couple of posts. Don't worry about your camera positions, it's all about your content. Talk your way through your work and add some comedy too. We want to know what you are doing and why you are doing it. I can work on anything but some of your viewers may be new to this. Keep up the good work. I think your channel is going to take off. Yall seem like really great people and I will be watching and rooting for yall!!!!!
1970 C20 with 1968 front end
I actually liked the over the engine view!👍
It's the first one for the channel, so this show us what this channel is all about. If it were me, I would clean it up and flip it, but only you can determine how the channel will go. Either way, I'm in.
If you got a book of matches the matchbook will work the way my dad used to do his
@ 39:30 mark... "This one was not blessed with coordination" She is, but like me she might have to do something a few times before she get's it wired. I didn't learn to surf until my 10th try. Great video mate! Love the family help! #whiteoakcounty #texaslove
Cool truck looking forward to more videos.
You guys make a fantastic team
Keep up the good work enjoy watching learn a few things for myself
Make your life a thousand times easier by washing the vehicles inside and out before you start working on them. Hope to see more videos soon.
Keep on keeping on brother.
Great video! I’d say get it safe and move it on. She’ll make a good little work truck for someone!
Can't wait to see it cleaned up
Can't wait to see this channel grow. Great wholesome family content. My son and I are working on the family jeep. He's only 2 and shows a huge amount of interest in anything I do. Dad stuff is awesome
Great content. Interesting and educational - keep going.
Just happened up on your channel this morning and really like what I’ve seen so far.
I learned to drive stick in one of those. Tough thing to do given my height. Had to squeeze my left knee between the door and the steering wheel just to get off the clutch. Good times😉
That is TRULY the perfect find!!! Man, I would absolutely LOVE to score a find like that!!! That’s awesome that you found that!! Thanks for the video!
I learned to drive standard in a Chevy LUV -- 1979.
Dude ur doing great! I cant stress enough how great it is that ur girls are there with u by ur side.
I say definitely do a part two of the chevy Luv. As an avid youtube consumer, i feel like it keeps the attention of the viewer more when u jump back and forth through different projects. You might lose views if u stick to one project week after week. If someone doesnt like chevy luvs they might stop watching till u move on. In my case its suspenseful to see what happens next. Just a bit of advice. GL
I'm so glad I found your channel early can't wait to see this blowup! Love the hope you have to help people in the future.
Luv the LUV. Love your content.
My Dad bought a New Chevy Luv in 75. Childhood memories. I'd like to see a part 2.
Good on you man. Greetings from down the road in San Antonio.
I enjoyed the content so far.
Im glad to see more Texas boys wrenching away.
Howdy, neighbor!
Gars I have a little while love truck like that I have a 3 inch Leo regular Laredo tires that thing went everywhere. I strip the plug just like that room but I loved it. It was a great truck. I’d like to have another one.
I've always wanted one of those.
I actually saw my name in the random generator cycle. That'll be the only time there is a small enough number to "see". Ha! Keep up the good work.
Love the truck!❤
Love seeing ya children involved I guarantee
I say just do what benefits you. Have a great day. Just now, today the City of Cedar Park came to pick up my broken tree limbs from the Texas ice storm here last month 2023.
Hope you are able to go all the way with getting her cleaned up and and properly running and driving. Thanks for the video.
Letttttttssssss gooooooo!
I always like to see projects all the way through with the content but you do will try for you!
Great video , I'm wanting to see you clean up the Luv and get it road worthy. Looking forward to more videos .
I remember those little Chevy lov's, my friend had on back in the late 80's and he did everything he could to kill the little truck, needless to say, he failed. Lol. It was a diehard little truck. Definitely worth the time and money to flip it
What a rare find! Part 2!!!
Thanks for the video, would love to see you fix this one up
Isuzu power, hard to kill. Nice work!
great lil truck we had a ton of them here in ny. back in hs guys would put small lifts and 31's on them and they went in the woods and snow awesome. this is a great candidate for a young driver teach them how to drive stick. or find a isuzu diesel and swap it
Love to see you go farther with it. Great to see you working with your girls. Good luck in the future. You done a great job.
Just found you on utube. Great stuff. Would love to see more of your mini dragster
When I was 17, my dad bought a 1980 Chevy love in Rapid City South Dakota, threw me the keys and said take her home. I had never driven a stick shift before but I learned how to drive a stick shift on the way home to North Dakota.
cute little jump suit on the little one.
Lol dude you're doing great! I subbed on the first video. At the rate you're going you'll hit 10k quick. On a side note Puddins Fab Shop does a ton of those little trucks! Datsun, Luv, courier I think he's got at least 2 or 3 of each.
Finish the truck up and flip it. That way u can show people how is they put the work into it they can buy a truck sitting in the woods. Put a little money and time into it and make a nice profit. I
Enjoyed the video. I’d like to see it get cleaned up and made roadworthy. One promise though, you keep the homemade ladder rack. The ladder rack plays. Looking forward to your channel growing bud.
That truck is not in bad shape at all. It might make a neat little shop truck if you can get the hoist to work again.
