Well thought out video with some really excellent points.
Big ups dude. Sadly I have no hope at all for the antagonist(s) in AC Shadows.
Good writing and Ubisoft really does not go hand in hand these days and honestly haven't in a good while.

What made the Templars as creepy and interesting villains is that they were misanthropic, logical, resourceful, determined, and have some certain similarities with the Assassins. What made them challenge the main characters is that both fight for peace and a better tomorrow. But Templars had the main characters question their methods and create some doubts in them.

I agree with this video. But I still found The Order Of The Ancients in Origins interesting and more important to me.
Each member ( despite Flavious being bad) had interesting goals with some want to rebuild Egypt, resercured, bringing back lived ones from death, and some being like gods over egypt like mongrels.

I feel like ever since AC3 villains slowly started to decline in the interest. I feel like Black Flag and Rogue still had some good villains but i do feel like (especially for rogue's villain) they could've been written better. I feel like AC3 has the best villains in the entire franchise that being Haytham, Charles, John, William, Thomas, Benjamin and Nicholas. Because it made us see that the Templar's aren't really evil. I enjoyed the AC villains and the ezio trilogy villains and i thought that after AC3 villains would only become more interesting and cool. Rogue and Black Flag's villains were a slight downgrade from AC3's villains. And then it slowly started to fall apart. Syndicate had a cartoonishly evil villain. I don't even remember origins villain i guess it was just the entire order. Unity's villain should've been Shay but i understand why they couldn't because Unity was already halfway done when they started working on rogue. Odyssey had the lamest villain in the franchise with a terrible reveal. The LOTFB dlc had a better villain (amorges) then odyssey's main game villain that being aspasia. And Valhalla's villain was Basim i'm pretty sure which was kinda cool. And mirage was just order of ancients again.
(Btw Connor was 4 when Charles choked him. So he actually made racist remarks to a 4 year old and choked him. Plus Haytham felt like the Ezio of the templars.)
